Great value good vibes good service.

The Howick waterfall is a must see. Access to tHe falls is well signposted, plenty of parking was available, as well as a thriving market and an information centre. The falls can be viewed / photographed from a special viewpoint where information boards explain the falls formation. For those on a hurry a ten minute stop will suffice.

The waterfall is amazing. Had a small rainbow. Loved the area.

We stopped by on the way back to Durban. The falls itself is breathtaking but the condition of the surrounding area is disappointing. Littering should be the national sport of this country. Loud music blaring from parked cars should be our national anthem. Verges and trees unkempt. Toilet facilities were deplorable. Stores were extremely expensive as well. Definitely not worth the stop. Rather look at pictures of the falls online.

Howick Falls are looking good. The vegetation that blocked the view of the falls has been well-trimmed and the view is spectacular. The falls are flowing fully and guided tours are available on the hour. Curios are easily purchased across the tiad from the viewing deck.

Used to be a dramatic waterfall some 20 years ago. Today's it's merely a stream. Still beautiful though.

Absolute shame to see how run down and unsafe such an important landmark has become! Drunken locals barely able to stand up straight and the smell of blocked and overflowing ablution areas hits your breath away as you drive past. Don't go there!

The falls are great here but that's the only thing… toilets are dirty no paper broken and not to mention the bad smells there. Be careful when you stop there. Would not recommend… or just make a quick stop to look at the falls and the ladies doing their laundry at the top of the fallls.

Beautiful falls, but not a fan of the area surrounding the main viewpoint as it wreaked of urine among the stalls selling African beadwork, mainly. Also, locals doing their laundry in the water above the falls take away from the splendor of the site.

You really need to take the Howick off ramp to experience God's beautiful creation, the Howick falls… It's just worth it, take pictures, eat a bunny chow and shop around for só many novelties at the flea market. Enjoy the nostalgia and the artists with their home made musical instruments. Spoil yourself, only 6km off the N3 highway.

Nice place to buy local gifts. The falls was lovely lots of water. The picnic area is a bit dirty and there is no visible law enforcement. Couple of restaurants to have lunch.

Breathtaking views of falls and river. Little fleamarket with stone cut products, wooden, hand painted plates. Safe parking.

Very close to highway under 10 min. Nice views. Woolworths is very close.

The falls are impressive and there's plenty of space and shade to picnic or braai nearby.

It is a stunning natural feature that has it lookout point not being looked after like it should.

Its right next to the road. Beautiful waterfall and gorge. There is a zipline on the otherside.

The only good thing about Howick falls, isnthe view point. That's besides being crowded in by car guards The local coffee bar referred us to the Gorge walk… Howick municipality seriously needs to take action, the main entrance indicated as a conservancy, nnie a nature reserve, hiking walk… this entrance "office " is a flea ridden, burnt out urinated defacted mess, I will be addressing this to the local council as well.

A beautiful view of a very long waterfall leading into a valley / gorge. We were there after-hours so it was peaceful but I can only imagine that it will be very busy with vendors and people. The waterfall is worth viewing!

Lovely view of the falls from up top with a few curio shops around.

It was my first time to see real falls. It was calming and the air is fresh. The place is quite clean and safe.

Beautiful falls, with a good view spot and small tourist shopping. But stay away from the gorge walk… trail is run down. Has become a squatter and could be potentially dangerous.
