We thoroughly enjoyed it, Peter your ranger is absolutely amazing, he is so kind and caring. He has a vast knowledge of the animals we learned so much. Truly a beautiful and amazing experience. We had such a lovely morning starting with a game drive. Our guide was so knowledgeable and considerate. We then spent an hour doing archery and wall climbing our host was so accommodating and patient. We ended with a delicious lunch. Service was excellent and food was tasty with generous portions. We will definitely return.

Everything was PERFECT I enjoyed the game drive and the picnic food was good the staff were sooooo welcoming not to mention Peter our driver and the lady who took us to our picnic Site didn’t get her name but everything went well and kids too really enjoyed DEFINITELY gonna come back🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️

We had an amazing time for my hubby's birthday. Staff are super friendly and efficient. Had lunch and breakfast on 2 separate days and my goodness the food was good. Game drive on last day and our guide Peter was excellent. 5/5

Rain Farm Game & Lodge is the perfect getaway to de-stress and enjoy what nature has to offer. Our stay was so peaceful and just what we needed. Lawrence is amazing, an asset to your business as he made sure we were taken care of from check-in to check-out. Peter took us on our sunset drive and was very knowledgeable. Food and service was top class. We will definitely be back to share this experience with some friends!

I have never felt more accommodated on holiday before. From our booking to our checkout. Correct me if I’m wrong but Lawrence at reception was unbelievable and really a true gentleman. The food at the restaurant was outstanding with such friendly staff. Exceptional views too! Our game driver Peter was outstanding with over 30 years experience, he never stopped informing us about the game lodge and animals and we really learnt a whole lot of interesting things.
We will definitely be back for sure! We stayed at Waterbuck on the dam — really spacious and relaxing.

Such amazing service from the owners and the staff of this amazing establishment. Even when my request where over the top they tried to accommodate me in every way possible. Two of the best and life changing days of my life was spent here, and neither of it would of been possible without you guys giving in to our out of the box ideas. We had the most amazing day at Rain Farm Game & Lodge. I never realized we had such magnificent beauty a stone throw away from our home. Our ranger was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. The picnic that followed by the lake was awesome. Next time, we're going to book a cottage and stay all weekend :)

Awesome staff, great food, lovely accommodation and amazing wedding venue. Beautiful memories of our daughter and hubby wedding here in 2015.

Was part of a party of 26 for breakfast for which they had almost a week to plan for.
Unfortunately poor planning from their kitchen resulted in quite a few of the group being disappointed with their meal. The general consensus was good venue but service not worth mentioning. Definitely not worth the money.

Everything looks incredibly amazing and the best thing they have perfectly accommodated and catered for kids as well.

I was their on Saturday 25th just for a morning visit. Staff extremely assisting and friendly. Unfortunately due to me having to go to work that nite I could not do a game drive. However I was able to see a few of their amazeing animals and breathtaking views on their deck. While I enjoyed breakfast. The establishment is very beautiful with the coolest looking chapel I've ever seen.

Had your Mother’s Day breakfast and once again it was great!

We had a very enjoyable outing. The game drive was informative and fun. The lunch was a delightful surprise. The menu is small, but our food was cooked to perfection. Definitely worth another visit.

An absolutely stunning setting with wonderful hospitality and service, away from the mayhem of the city. The food is also excellent. Great for a day visit too.

We went to rain farm for a picnic. Food was average, kind of "mass produced" and very boring presentation. Picnic spot was nice. Just be careful of ticks on picnic blankets. Saw a crocodile in the dam. The emu tried to rob our food but was easily chased off. Fellow picnic-ers put loud music on, this should be prohibited.

Rustic but really nice. Self catering. Enormous kitchen.

We had an Easter lunch there. Sure won't visit again. Below average food, no music (despite being told they will turn it on). Bad service and definitely not worth the money paid. We passed a lot of places to get to the rain farm and we're regretting it.

Drove all the way from pretoria to see what all the hype is about and a birthday. The view and buidling is beautiful. The food is horrible paid R250 for a buffet food is tastless no meat only fat served the rossoto is bland and dull. The mens toilet is very dirty toilet paper in the floor by the toilets. I would not recomend this place to ANYONE. If you do stay here order pizza!

My visit to the Rain Farm was extraordinary. We enjoyed a fun-filled Game Range Drive, followed by a lovely romantic picnic. This is definitely a place to enjoy the beautiful gifts nature has to offer. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and provided excellent services. I would definitely recommend The Rain Farm to anyone who wishes to enjoy a good time out, and experience the beauty of the animals in their natural habitat.

Having such a lovely Xmas holiday in this beautiful place. The staff are great but the food, I do not have words to describe how delicious every meal has been. We are working our way through the menu.

I love outdoors so I accepted a "luxurious" stilted tent accomodation only to find out that with all doors closed and mosquito net undone, there were still more bugs on my bed than outside. Spent a few hours and left same day as check in. Risked a drive at night coz I felt it was safer than staying there.

Took clients for wedding venue collect later again. 21km from Monkeybay backpackers.

Had a fabulous time! Our guide Reuben was great and made the game drive full of fun and educational at the same time…
We were made to feel very welcome. Had a divine lunch and were impressed that the chef even came to check on us. Had thee best beef burger ever! Highly recommend a visit.

If what you looking for is service, relaxation, good food then Rain Farm and Lodge is where you must be. Brilliant, personal, family orientated, just perfect!

Absolutely lovely place to just relax and unwind. My son and I just spent Christmas weekend. Food, service and staff are excellent… just ate way too much of the delicious food (LOL)! Loved the Luxury Tent on stilts accommodation. Beautiful walk down to the river and my son had a great time at the shooting range! We will definitely be back and come for day visits more often… so nice and conveniently close to Durban and surrounds, yet it feels like you are miles away in the country! Excellent! Loved it!

Went for a massage at the spa and was very impressed with the service and facilities. Prices very very reasonable.

Excellent. Rain farm you are the best guys. We were treated like Queens like we were the only guests there. Big, big thank you to Jeremy, very kind helpful all the time. Izindlovukazi (queens) will be sure going back to rainfarm.

Very disappointing. 1. Everyone got lost on their way to the venue and when we eventually arrived we were told that their website had been "hacked". When did they find this out — if they were aware of this why did they not send us the correct directions. 2. Our mid-morning tea was left outside to dry out — we were in a meeting an no-one let us know that our tea was ready. 2. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and did not expect a "bar lunch" i. E. A choice of either beef, chicken or vegetable hamburger. It was a very embarrassing experience as we invited guests to join us for the celebration and some had come from as far as Johannesburg and Estcourt. 3. It was not the most friendly and comfortable environment and I would definitely not recommend this venue to anyone.
