Best food ever. Rib and wings combo. Enjoyed every moment in the serene and peaceful atmosphere. Excellent service from Innocentia, and the food was so spectacular we had to order take aways as well. Thank you for the awesome experience — mit Arina Van Aardt.

Dearest De la Rey and staff — Words can not express the gratitude I have towards you. As we ventured into a difficult day of saying good bye to a special person you made it so much easier! You managed this memorial service with grace, professionalism and dare I say love. I noticed the extra miles ☺️ you walked with us today and truly made this day incredibly special. Francois was a big nature enthusiast and would have loved your Lodge. Even the bokkies came out to play today It was an enormous priveledge to have his memorial at your Lodge, truly a place we could get in touch with the peace that nature has to offer.

I have been to many paces in my Lifetime. Be it for a special occasion or just a night out with my husband. No other place has the welcoming feeling like Gabbata Lodge. From Management to staff members, they all make you feel welcome. The food is to die for and the scenery makes you wonder why you never found the venue earlier. Thanks for an amazing experience time after time.

LOVED the food. I had a Chicken Schnitzel with Veggies on the side… and may I just say — Well done on the Veggies. Not everyone can make spinach taste that good.

Nice place, staff are for the most part very polite and helpful The wedding facilities are great and the event went of perfectly. Dinner was wonderful and the dessert was amazing Accomodation: It would be nice if they offered non feathered pillows, many people are allergic to feather pillows and it was quite irritating that they couldn't organise me a non feather pillow. Ruined my sleep Breakfast needs some work. We had the Lodge Breakfast and it came covered in weird tasting basting/sauce with ruined it.

Great food and a good place to go for a break-away from the city (isn't even that far out of the city, but still feels km's away).

This place has a restaurant that you can book even if you are not hosting an event. The food is very good. It also has a kids area which is very convenient.

The lodge is like a real life Saffier and great value for money. You will not be sorry to host your event at this wonderful place. The management is very hands on and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I’ll definitely host an event in the near future, because I was just a guest this time around. Plus an awesome place to take some good pictures or make wonderful memories. Enjoy your visit or stay…

The food is VERY good! Dining room service is good. Rooms are neat & clean. Grounds are well kept and neat. Wildlife is welcoming & looks healthy. Enough and close by parking. Staff is friendly. The venue is ideal for almost any type of function.

What a beautiful place! I can only share my experience from visiting the restaurant, but the overall atmosphere is so relaxing with the green lawns amd friendly staff. Will definitely visit again!

What a amazing place to enjoy great food and drinks with family and friends! I've been to Gabbata on multiple occasions and they never dissapoint. Excellent service and fantastic food. I Highly recommend giving them a visit.

Great place to host an event like a wedding or other events. They have a beautiful little chapel for weddings or christening events. There is a play area for kids, and large gardens where kids can play in safety. The gardens are also great for photo's. The restaurant prepare good food and they have a well-stocked bar. Staff are friendly, professional and helpful.

Attended a wedding here. General perception is good. A little more attention to customer service and support could do wonders. The food was great! Thank you.

A memorable experience, excellent setting, food, service, breathtaking views and free roaming antelope. Ideal settings for a wedding venue with chapel, conference facilities, swell accommodation and top notch restaurant. Setting is very wheelchair accessible with walkways, ramps, proper bathrooms and special effort is evident as accommodate for the physical impaired was made elegantly.

We went there for lunch yesterday. Really was food for a king. Buffet dinner lovely vegetables and carvery. Value for money. Lovely venue. Wedding venue. It also has Die Legends Woorde Church every Sunday.

Lovely venue, but their events organisation and staff training needs some serious attentioneom.

This place offers a lovely Christmas lunch and it is beautiful there.
