We had supper on Friday evening and the pasta and pizza were way past delish. The waitress recommended the perfect bottle of wine for my Wife and convinced me to have the Martini Fiero cocktail, very refreshing and tasty.

Food at this place, best you can get and the location is just amazing.

I will recommend the restaurant to anyone anytime, atmosphere the service we received from stuff was owesome, thank you Mike for excellent service. Kids enjoyed as well.

Very nice vibe and good tasting food BUT the service is very bad. Waited 1hour 30min for our food. Every time we asked what is going on… the answer were "they are busy dishing up… "

Travelled from JHB to dine specifically at Villa San Giovanni, after hearing such good things about it the place. We Arrived to find a homey vibe with lovely music but the service really was not great. My son got his meal after the adults were served and had finished their meals. The steak was not great for the price and we didn’t find a waiter for condiments. We visited at lunch on a Sunday and not all the tables was full so not being at full capacity makes you wonder about the service. Not my best experience to date.

Terrible attitude from staff, no management to be seen. Food has been good as we have been visiting this establishment every week for the past couple of months. Tonight we got chased out because we dared disturb staff 40 minutes from closing time to get some food. Wont set foot in this place again. You cant treat customers like this……

Unfortunately the service and experience has just gone downhill consistently with our last 3 visits. Food still good. But waiters are consistently inadequate and keeping the place open while doing drain repairs? Common. Really? Rather uber eats if you want the food.

It's something different, and the service is excellent, its time to support all restaurants, they had a very difficult time the last few months. The food was excellent, took bit time, but we where also very hungry, this makes the time very long, meantime it's just us very hungry, lol They accomodate for Adults and Children, non-smokers and smokers. Thank you for the Excellent and Quilty service provided.

Got chased away by the waiter and manager after Luca assured us they are still open. This was at 15:25 this afternoon. Regrettably we had to leave as the manager said we only can order pizza. As we were leaving another waiter came and said we can stay up to 17:00? 10 very regular customers lost. Very disappointed.

I have only really discovered this family restaurant during the COVID-19 Lockdown and so my review actually has nothing to do with the food, service, prices or ambience. I just want to simply say THANK YOU. Thank you for the kindness and generosity and the care and consideration the Maiorana Family has for the Community. Your contributions to society reflects your love for society. Recently I had the pleasure of dining with the family and I just wanted to compliment you all on the whole experience I had, including the beautiful food and the friendship and welcoming hospitality which was spectacular. Your food is tasteful and the fulfilling meals you serve from your kitchen makes me feel nostalgic to the meals enjoyed in family settings in Italy. My wife and I will definitely be visiting Villa San Giovanni on a regular basis for dinner and look forward to spreading the good word on our experience/s. Thank you and keep up the great work. Lunch and desert ordered for today… so yummy, I wish there was more. 11 out of 10 for VSG and the chefs. Can't wait for the restaurant to open again!

Our first takeaway since lockdown. Once again San Giovanni Rest did not dissappoint. Food was amazing in the comfort of my own home. Definitely the place to order.

The food is always delicious and generous. We love the seafood pizza with it's giant juicy prawns. We can't wait to get back to Monday pizza and pasta special. The atmosphere is romantic for a cozy date night and in the winter they have heaters to warm you up.

I visited that restaurant twice, it's a lovely place. They gave me best service n treatment, I don't mind going there. I would like to thank their staff well done guys keep it up, they r very friendly.

Great restaurant with great food. Have a great playground where kids can make their own pizza. Some of the dishes were a little small compared to other restaurants in the area. But the service is good and its right on the airport runway.

Excellent atmosphere and good service. This is the 2nd one in the franchise I've visited and it was great. It has a enormous amount of space and a wide variety of foods to choose from. There is a smoking area available and it's super convenient when waiting for a plane and you want to have a snack before flying. The only drawback was our waiter. He was friendly up untill the bill can and quickly became rude when we gave him a 10% gratuity which is still generous since the service industry is supposed to pay them properly.

Nice restaurant and cute play area for kids. Aircrafts are very entertaining for kids. They just finished with make your own pizza "studio" for kids but havent tried it out yet. Yhey have a great breakfast buffet on Sundays, definately value for your money!

Tasty food and great hospitality With great Italian history Did you know? The play ground of the restaurant was made in honour of a baby girl which is one of the owner's grandchildren.

Food is always excellent and service is held in high standard. The scenery of an airport mixed together with some Italian class makes this restaurant a must visit. Would recommend the Schnitzel it is divine.

The restaurant is in wonderboom airport. We visited this place on christmas. I dont know if maybe my expectations were too high but they lacked in so many ways imaginable on that day. The ambiance & food were a flop. The service could have been exceptional if it was accompanied by great food atleast. The guy looking after us deserved the tip we left him because he went out of his way to cater well for us. The kids play area was great.

Had some lunch on Saturday did try to order 2 glasses of white wine but thry did not have any in stock. They were not willing to come down on price with the ones they did have in stock. Poor white wine selection.

The service initially was very poor, since we had to wait almost 20 min for somoene to serve us! This was a disappointment, becuase previous times the service was fast and I really enjoyed the food. The cutlery and plates given to us was dirty as well the previous time we visited and we had to send it back.

My absolute favourite place to eat, from their amazing and delicious breakfast buffet to the variety of other dishes they serve. A great place where the waiters are friendly and the food delicious!

Possibly the best pizza in Pretoria. The terrace area offers a panoramic view of the tarmac. Perfect for meeting and eating with your family and mates, while the fine dining area will be more appropriate for special occasions and business dinners.

Warm beer. Warm expensive craft beer on a warm day. I struggle to understand how you serve a thirsty hot client who needs a crisp ice ice cold beer a warm beer. Shameful. I'm not sure where that makes sense in the world. But to me it doesn't.

Katlego was of great service to me and I had to fight to get a whole giant pizza down! Best coffee I've had in a loooong time! Would recommend to anyone! Might even make this my Sunday hangout.
