Thank you so much for accommodating my clients on a tight budget. Even when their flight changed last minute, it was not a problem for Doves Nest. Lebo was of great assistance calling me to make sure of airport pick up times etc. Thank you.

This is run by lying thieves. We were moved to another BnB (Cockpit Guesthouse) that was absolutely disgusting because 'there were noisy students'. When we refused to stay there they then told us they were full and wanted to refund us and leave us on the streets of Kempton Park at 9pm. What a tip. An absolute disgrace to South African tourism. They don't deserve clients. I later discovered some friends had the same story! Steer clear at all costs. Not even worth the star I have put.

We just stayed here and honestly it was a great experience. The Wi-Fi is 10/10. It's so strong. The breakfast was so good also and great coffee. It's safe and secure with good hot showers also. Close to the airport and a free shuttle.

Bear in mind that Dove’s Nest is rated as a two-star establishment, so don’t expect all the frills of a fancier place. Having said that, it was clean, comfortable, and great value for money. I was particularly impressed with the friendly and professional service from the staff. The free shuttle service to OR Tambo was also very useful.

Was very happy with my stay at Dove's. No problems experienced. Very well trained and helpfull staff.

The guest house should improve in the bathroom in terms of the toiletry;soap. Shower gel, lotion which are basics in other lodges. The number of towels should also be improved.

It is clean, close to the airport hence no hassles with heavy traffic. Nice quite environment makes you think you are out of Johannesburg.

Fabulous and accomodating staff. Comfortable accommodation. Transportation well organized and always on time.

Stayed here by default due to a delayed flight. Comfortable and livable but not to my taste and preference.

Dove's nest is well, let me say ok. I may even have given it three stars was it not for my experience in room number 2. If you insist to stay here, never ever, stay in this room. There is a locked door on the inside wall with the kitchen on the other side. A beverages fridge is located directly in front of the door on the kitchen side. This fridge never rests and is noisy enough to disrupt any peace and quiet in the room. I had to go on the defence: The mattress and base of the double bed went vertical against the door with the pillows at the top (see my picture). I slept in the single bed. For the first time I travelled without shampoo and was punished — there was none in the room. And oh yes, do not expect more than instant coffee at breakfast and take a sharp knife for the toast, it was tough!

Quiet. Very close to airport. Very friendly staff. Good adequate food.

Great place. Very peaceful and we'll managed.

5-day stay. Very warm place. Friendly staff. Very good meal for a very small price. Well-equipped room overlooking a pretty garden. Quiet despite the proximity to the airport. And Angelique who works in the establishment speaks French, it's a real plus!

Comfortable rooms very close to the airport with a free shuttle to and from the airport the customer service is not that great though.

In terms of an overnight stay between flights the Doves nest is affordable, clean, and the shuttle runs well. In terms of what you pay per night I believe they meet but do not exceed expectations.

Quiet and restful. An effort to make for the air conditioning of the whole Guest House.

No phone in the room to complain. No heat, I was freezing my butt off. No hot water. Only 3 minutes of hot shower and it turned to a cold water on a vold night.

Worth the price. Clean, comfortable rooms with a decent breakfast. Shuttle service collects you from within the Airport which — for those new to Joburg — is much nicer than hanging around at the bus depot across from the Terminal.

The rooms are not very clean, bed linen looks old and dirty, bathroom towels are worse. Bathroom not clean. Transparent curtains you can even see what is happening inside the rooms while you are outside. Small TV and remote controls are out of batteries. Food is horrible and not very accommodating to people who don't eat beef or pork. I would not be keen to stay in this place again.

Lovely place to stay. Not luxurious but staff are welcoming, clean facilities and again the staff deserve credit for their hard work. It would be worth investing in a gym or pool.

Value for the price. Welcoming. Nicely treated. Dont expect luxury but all facilities are provided. The staff are very helpful and charming.

Good place for an overnight stay on a budget close to OR Tambo airport. Good shuttle service provided too.

Fr me it was OK, I enjoyed every minute with the staff. They were so friendly n easy to talk to. Yha I'll definitely go back there. Load shedding is everywhere and that's everyone problem. I will visit sooner than u think guyz.
