Small rooms but located near many tourist sites and cheap.

Overpriced and stressful experience. Reception is in an ok looking place, but our room wasn't there, it was in another delapidated looking house, the garage for the car, in another place! The room was a little less of what we expected for €73 a night (including €10 for parking). Person in reception charging for the stay (AM) totally rude, luke if she was doing us a favor, but I guess, we, as tourists from free countries, must try to understand the hard changes their country has gone through, and how hard it must be for some of their people. Sorry, but never going back to that hostel were they post pictures of a room that you will definitely won't get. Disappointed.

We had our own bathroom and kitchen, shared with 3 other men. Quite clean actually.

The hostel is well situated, near the castle and the city centre, there's some restaurants and supermarkets not far away. We had a 10 — bed room, it was clean and tidy, but we could notice some little spider in the bathroom. Bunk beds were a little bit noisy. Definitely worth it for a short and cheap stay.

Lovely staff! I found it had a great location, great amenities such as laundry, refridgerator and stove in the apartment! Downfall do to the thick brick walls the Wi-Fi isnt that great and there was a constant smoke smell from the common area.

Good enough for backpackers.

Good restaurant beside the river. I had a risotto and a glass of wine. I visit in August 2013 and sat outside in the sun for dinner. The food was well made and good value.

The great food, wine, service, location, and ambiance. English spoken. The best meal of a 5 country no budget personal food tour over Christmas and new year 2016.

Place a characteristic on the bridge (most) traditional cuisine and the prices are fair courtesy.

The local-style chabby chic and the environment is formal. Proposes a refined cuisine and typical slovenian. Good soups and meat dishes. Excellent quality and price medium-high.

I recommend. The food is delicious with good price. It is a good place in a good location.

A high level very good Restaurant. Nothing for the small purse, but for tourists, nevertheless, a very good price-performance ratio. For the later evening, be sure to reserve a table. According to the daily recommendations, questions, and definitely a wine to recommend. For Swiss francs, there is also beer from Mahrs-Bräu.

I stayed two days with my wife. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. As in virtually all the hostels I've been lacking the supports (no wardrobes, chairs, etc. ). We had air conditioning which isn't from poso since the stay was in July.
At the reception were very courteous and we were given all the necessary information. There is the possibility to use a parking structure at the price of € 8 per day and have breakfast in a bar at 100 meters away for the price of 5 € per person.
The only negative impression I had was that the hotel where we had the rooms were still a little work in progress: in our room there was a hole above the AC and some wire. Everything else ok, clearly is a hostel so don't expect the amenities of a hotel, but they are very organized.

We were lucky to get a nice room with a large window, but we could just as well have been unlucky and get one of the small room with no windows. We were lucky to have a kitchen (it certainly was not any good kitchen, but it was there), other rooms had no kitchen. The beds are slightly below normal hostel standard. This place gets 1 stars because its location is really good (but other hostel in the city is as well located and at the same price), 1 star for its friendly staff, and 1 star for the quiet night we had. I have the feeling that we were lucky with our experience and with the room we got. The place is fine if you only need a place for an overnight stay.

The environment in warm colours, the rooms inside and large terrace on the riverside. Typical menu with variations and innovations of the shef. Good selection of wines and beers. Excellent service, fabulous food. Portions of nouvelle cuisine. Excellent quality-price ratio. Recommended for a romantic date.

It is worth every penny. The food was delicious and just perfect. The service was good. Highly recommend.
