Great location. Breakfast fantastic. For older people the shower in the bath is too hard to get out of. I slipped in the bathroom because of it. Otherwise great hotel.
Hotel Toplice is situated very closely to Lake Bled. I had a half-board meal plan as this holiday was booked through the tour operator TUI. The breakfast has a wide range of cooked and cold food. Pastries are served fresh daily and change. Cooked meal item come directly from the kitchen and these options include: pancakes, waffles, a cooked English breakfast and a smoothie. Waiting staff are happy to help. Management at the hotel hosted a drinks and 'managers welcome' evening to welcome visitors to the hotel and bled. This was a good opportunity to learn about the history of the hotel. The room I stayed in, was a 'lake view' room and had a balcony which was lovely to sit on an view the lake. The room was a decent size and had a separate social room. The lido of the hotel is refreshing as it is the lake. It can be a bit cold at first but is great to view fish! The spa/ wellness centre is a lovely area of the hotel on level — 1. The spa has a lovely pool and is fresh water from the area that contains minerals that are good for your skin. The dining area is light and has lovely ceiling lights, it has a classic feel to it like the decor of the hotel in general. The menu has many options and is a four course each evening; it changes every night. (However you can chose to not have courses. ) On the other hand, I have to say that consistency does not exist in all aspects of the hotel.

The view was amazing… hotel can do much much better… in terms of decor and staff … but yes the rooms facing the views really amazing.
