Room is quiet, the service was good despite it been used as a GQF. When u call the counter service to request for anything, they will send it up to u… what more can u ask for, as u are serve QO… complain about the food? Nah… u wan good food… then pay for it.

26MAY’2021: I cannot even tell if this is grains or eggs badly done. Seriously, it really looks like food for pig farm! Hawker center food looks better anytime compared to this from Studio M Hotel!

Poor customer service and cancelled reservation last minute.

The views from the rooms and even the pantry are just perfect. The function rooms are also conducive and well-equipped for forward operations.

Simple and nice place. Right in the middle of the city. Peace and pleasent room atmosphere. Resonable price and u can get the service for each and every cent that u paid.

The room is big recommend for family.

Limited hotel lots due to renovation, poor service and not opening up their few lots due to possible emergency. They even got their security over when I wanted to park at the lot blocked by the cones. They could hire security but not valet to take care of their guests' vehicles! This is the last time I am staying here.

Clean and friendly services. Very pleasant environment.

This hotel is disgusting. Very dated and poorly maintained rooms. Then shower room is like a cupboard, the paint is chipping off the wall, carpet is thread bear, rooms smells of dampness. It's just horrendous. Do not book here.
I have been here for 5 minutes and I don't even wish to unpack or sleep in the bed.

Help desk staff withheld our privileges such as a free GV ticket. They also gave us 2 hotel cards without granting us access to the lifts. Room is old, dirty and unhygienic. We had no choice but to checkout one day earlier to stay in another hotel.

Check in time was suppose to be 2pm, Arrived on time and was told to wait for another 15-20mins as room is not yet inspected by supervisor. Waited till 2.30pm and was told there's still delay and only manage to check in only at 2.50pm. Waited nearly 1 hour for inspection to be done. Ended up with a room with lights not working, wall socket not working, fridge and aircon not working properly. Disappointed with the service of a 4 star hotel and the poor maintenance for nearly 1 hour of so call 'inspection'. Bathroom and toilet is seperated and space was super cramped. Receptionist wasn't customer service oriented. Would not recommend to friends and family and most likely will not come back again.

Really horrible check in experience! came at 1.30pm for the check in at 2pm. No Queue. They said room ready at 2pm. By 2pm the queue was about 10 people. I go back to counter and they said still not ready. At 2.30pm the queue is now 30 people. I'm not sure if people who came after me are being issued their rooms. A whole bunch of angry people who havent gotten their rooms are barging in in front of me. Seems the angriest customer gets their room first. Anw I finally get my room at 3pm. By this time the entire lobby is full of people. I went down at 5pm and there was still a queue at the lobby. LOL ALSO the room is quite badly maintained. You can tell it's an old hotel by looking at the cupboards and finishing.
The mini fridge wasn't working.
The lights were electrically linked in such an illogical way that you couldn't turn on the bathroom light on the ground level without turning on the ceiling light, waking up the person sleeping in the loft.
We asked for extra sheet and pillow at 4pm. They said they will send. After dinner we went to the counter to ask because we didnt get it. They said oh sorry full house no more pillows and sheets? so for $175 it was such a disappointment and I'm never going back nor recommending anyone to Studio M. I dont usually write reviews for hotels but this time it's just too buay tahan (cannot stand it). Please do yourself a favour, pay a little bit more for your sanity.

The initial check in took one hour, it was quite busy but what didn't help is to make clear how to queue around the reception. People pushed in from every corner of the round reception and the poor 3 staff trying to make it work. Poor ergonomics and no concierge available.
The hotel is getting quite old and it shows that it is in need of work, ie leaking water taps, sewerage smells in the toilet, telephone not working, torn carpets, ect
Breakfast is average and after 4 days the same limited breakfast a turn off. Coffee is good, staff is friendly and try their best. The room is very small and a bit of a climp to the bed over a dark small stairway, besides banging the head when getting out of the bed on a low ceiling corner it is quite dangerous in the dark at night to go to the toilet, forget your wheelchair access but not sure if they have better rooms. Price at $160 was ok and location near restaurants and cafes at the water are nice.

Overall the services is really professional, friendly hotel staff.

I’ve mistakenly recommended this hotel for my mom and her sister to stay in for a quick overnight trip before their flight. Reading all these TERRIBLE reviews makes me want to vomit. Hotel refused to refund the booking even though it was made only a few minutes ago. Contemplating rebooking at another hotel and forego the cost of Studio M.

Love the Mez style rooms. Pool, spa area on the 2rd floor is great, staff are friendly and in a great location.

Ok so, I slept with my clothes on all night and told my company to book another hotel 5 minutes in. How and why? I feel like if you lined up 300 people to go around and vomit in each room it would be a massive improvement. This hotel is so dated, disgusting and poorly managed with its sticky floors and spots on the wall. … The complimentary mini bar come with drinks you’ve never heard of and considering the conditions of the property better stay away from.
Honestly, it’s been an experience. But no, stay away from this place.

Small, but unique rooms. Not exactly clean. Unique location. Decent stay. Breakfast is ok, better breakfast at cheaper hotels. Nice pool. Depending on what motivates you, it's a nice place.

Very great service by Aura. Asked for 2 bottles of water and was pleasantly surprised by Aura appearing at the door. Followed it down to its base station. Service was decent. Location could have been better if it was nearer the mrt station but the shuttle service is actually quite useful.

Lovely room except for the very basic toilet and shower cubicle. The shuttle bus service is very convenient for getting out of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was average so I would recommend tourists to eat out.

Love the loft style room. Good use of space if you have guest, see them at the Holman area in your room, your bed is located above the stair. Cool! And breakfast was good, their robot server can bring things you need to your room at late night too. Very convenient.

Like the hotel and 4 stars, but I would give a maximum of three! The room is small, cleaned badly, the surfaces are shabby, on the walls some leaks, the water in the sink merges badly, the extra bed for the child is difficult to call a bed, and from the linen it is put only pillowcase and duvet! No blankets, no third towels. After forty minutes of requests to bring a blanket, brought the old plaid all in recurrents and with someone's hair on it! Then another 30 minutes had to beg to bring just a second sheet to her to close! The toilet is very small, you sit down on the toilet and knees and head against the wall! The shower room is exactly the same size!

Excellent hotel! Manager Felicia was very accommodating and friendly! Great pool and jacuzzi! Lots of eateries nearby. Local food-shop just 5 minutes walk away.

The robot they have to deliver stuff is kinda cool. The pool is small… There's a bed and a sofa bed. The toilet is super small. If you sit down on the toilet bowl, your knees will touch the wall. Bathroom for shower is also really small, the place to hang clothes is not very good. If you place your clothes on the bench, it could get wet. The service… the staff made us wait for quite some time for checkout. They didn't even bother to update us until we ask them.

Only suitable for overnight. Not suitable for mature people. It is so small. First room we checked into was only two star. We were moved into an executive studio loft which was just ok. Having to negotiate stairs to get to the bed and back down to the toilet wasn't fun. The staff were fantastic but there is no way I would stay there again.

Staff were very friendly and room was pretty spacious. However, the room was not very well maintained and was a little dirty. Bathroom was very small and like many other reviewers mentioned, it's hard to shower without touching the walls. It's also quite odd because the basin is not in the toilet, but at the sofa/ living area. Room came with buffet breakfast and again, staff were super friendly and a great chat. Food was average, try out the eggs though, they're great. Nonetheless, the room was pretty cheap (got it at $150 per night) so for the price, I have no complaints at all :-) however, if you're usually fussy about cleanliness and you're willing to pay more, you may want to check out other hotels in sg/ in the area. If you're looking for a hotel stay with an affordable price tag and you're not too fussy with cleanliness, studio m is great!

The staffs are very friendly and helpful, and Ms. April went the extra mile to send a slice of cake up to our room and even sang a birthday song for my boyfriend. It was a pleasant surprise and he loved it! Thank you Studio M for the pleasant stay! Will definitely be back again!

Cool loft concept. But rooms were abit old. Would prefer the maintenance of the rooms to be better. Service was excellent.

Wow, my fiancé booked this place for my birthday today for a small get away. I am pissed. We are in room 730. A 4star hotel that has a shitty iron. Ruined my shirt even at Low heat. Spoke to the DM and he is “trying” to sort it out for me which I have no idea what they can do. Completely ruining my birthday as I needed that shirt for m dinner tonight with my friends. Will update here to see what they can do to rectify it. Ultimately not a 4star hotel at all. I’ve stayed in better 2-3 stars hotel than this. *updated. The DM Mr Helmi did a good thing by upgrading us, although that was not much difference from the room we had but still it was a good effort. Thank you.

Stayed for 2 nights with family. Room was upgraded at check-in. A nice surprise. Check in and out was efficient. Good rest with comfortable bed. Pleasant stay. Nice!

The room is in need of renovation, the toilet is only 1m2 large and the shower is mouldy. After the key takeover we asked to clean the room, after cleaning it was also not cleaner (dirty toilet, you, smudged glass) The breakfast buffet was varied and the staff was friendly. In my opinion happert is very clean — can't recommend this hotel to anyone.

A little defrechi and lack of Deco.

Booked a room here and as soon as we walked in there was an awful smell. We pulled back the covers and saw a worm like bug crawling in the bed! We immediately left the room and alerted staff. We no longer felt comfortable staying at this hotel. We ended up spending hours in the lobby trying to find another hotel near by. This was an incredibly awful experience. We traveled a great distance from the United States and did not expect this type of welcome. Very disappointed.

Rooms are shabby, "tired", cleaned average, for sanitary ware, doors are being watched badly! The bed linen is old, with breaks. I will not recommend to my friends! From the pros only location. The outside is pretty, but the rooms are awful! The restaurant is clean and the tables are very lazy. The choice of food is very skimpy. I will not stay again in this hotel and others do not advise!

Customer service was excellent. Rooms are cozy and not too large. Room service did an excellent job to clean while me and my partner was away. Location was very convenient as many eating spots are just a short walk away. Breakfast buffet had limited option but food is still of great quality.

Checked in to a studio loft. Stained floor mat and soaking wet carpet upon checked in. Uncomfortably small toilet and shower area. It's difficult to shower without at least touching one side of the bathroom walls. Guess what you pay is what you get but I was hoping that even the lowest tier room had some kind of basic hygienic standards. There's wheelchair accessible parking and breakfast is served till 10.30am. Swimming pool is rather small too. Overall, it was a memorable loft experience but I wouldn't want to go back again.

The staff were friendly but the rooms were a little dated. Lots of scratches and marks on the walls probably due to the small space. That wasn't so bad but the shower has no extraction fan and therefore there is black mold and mildew on the ceiling and walls due to the poor design. Rooms aren't that quiet but at least there was no street noise. If you like doing laps in your pool then this is the place for you. Heaps of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Nice Hotel, like everything in the area, expensive.

Positive points: bathroom, toilet and wash basin are separated. Is good for 2-3 to stay. Walking distance to eatery. Negative points: few bits on the body and limbs at night, uncomfortable pillow (too high), no separate lights off at night as I prefer to leave 1 light on at night. Too dark at night. Hope there is no bed bugs in this hotel.

There are quite a number of complaints I have for this hotel. My husband and I stayed in Room 506 last night as my birthday weekend and it was the worst staycation ever. Room. The toilet was small without any ventilation. For some reason, the toilet door did not seem to fit and it could not even be closed properly. Sound-Proof. The hotel room was not sound-proof and we could hear the music playing outside the hotel clearly. … Cleanliness. There were a few stains around the room, which made me wonder if the housekeeping even bothered cleaning the room after the previous guests' stay. Bed. One side of bed (right side) was dented in. We had such uncomfortable sleep. Housekeeping. There were complimentary items like shampoo, soap, toothbrushes etc. But, one of the toothbrushes were already used (the plastic bag containing the toothbrush and toothpaste was opened and the toothpaste was missing). This was the last straw that made me rate this hotel one-star. This is the first and last time we are staying here. Most disappointing stay ever. : (

In terms of concept (studio with loft bed), Studio M Hotels are certainly trying something new and innovative. The location right on Robertson Quay could not be better. However, the furnishings were tired looking, carpets needed a thorough deep clean, bathroom and shower room are tiny — like stalls. Not something one would prefer for a stay exceeding 2 days at most. If I had to choose again, I would pass. And go with Park or Holiday Inn in the same areas.

Location in itself is great and the staff really endeavored, but as in many other reviews already read, the rooms are partly very comfortable and the cleanliness of the rooms leaves much to be desired (toilet seat locker, walls of the toilet not clean etc). Breakfast is okay, but not designed for the European guest (for example, no cold cuts for the bread), but primarily for the Asian guest. As the staff is really trying, I give 3 stars, otherwise it would probably be only 2. The Category 4 stars does not really fit here – in Germany it would probably be 2, Max 3.

Their studio loft room is cosy and comfortable. Their breakfast is really good. Their location is nearby fort canning station (downtown line), with a walkable distance.

Staycation with 2 other friends in a triple premier loft. The check in took a little bit of time as it was very crowded, but the staff was kind, polite, and welcoming. We loved the room! It was pretty unique as I had never been to such a hotel room before, with beds on two levels and an entire floor to ceiling backdrop of a forest. It is also located at a very nice Robertson Quay, which is beside the river, and filled with tons of restaurants. It is also walking distance to Liang Court where you can find a Japanese supermarket, and also to Clarke Quay where all the cool nightlife is at. Very nice place to relax, chill, and have some fun!

It has been a nice one night stay for me at Studio M on 16 Dec 2017. The staffs were courteous and were trying hard to please every guests they received. So I just list down some points that need improvements.
1) Cleanliness — I observed the corridor to my room on level 8 before and after my morning breakfast. Someone has dropped a Mentos and left an empty mineral water bottle on the carpet. Before, it was there. Hour later, it was still there. I don't know what has kept the housekeeper busy, but I picked it up and throw them in the rubbish bin in my room.
2) Bill — I added 2 paying guests for breakfast on 17 Dec 2017. But when I knew I could not add the bill to my room cos I didn't deposit with my credit card, I was called to settle the payment at your front desk immediately, even before I packed up to checkout. I felt that was rude.
Overall, I am still satisfied with the hotel. I enjoyed swimming in your pool.

Rooms are smaller than expected as shown on pictures. One room can definitely fit in 4 people or more but toilets are small as well. Cleanliness of toilet is 2.5/5.

The hotel was very well placed along the river and super convenient. You could easily walk along the quay and access all the cool hangouts add restaurants. The room was nice and clean and the staff helpful. The entire stay was very affordably priced, much more than the rest. Cute rooms despite being a little small, I would go for it again.

For a 4 star rated hotel, it didn't quite live up to its names. Front desk was quite courteous and pretty much all smiles all the way. Pretty good service so far. Checked into the room. Interesting new concept for rooms but you will have to compromise the toilet and shower room for the slightly larger loft area. Many wear and tear marks all over the room, drink stains on table surfaces. Bed sheets have some small holes and mattress had the weird kind of sunken feeling. Overall the room is pretty OK just that there wasn't attention to details that make the room feel and look like something worthy of the 4 star branding. PS. Just when we were checking out and we were checking that we have cleared all our stuffs before leaving, we found a blood stained bible in the drawer beside the bed. Totally freaked out and rushed out of the room. And that was room 710.

The room is ok but a little small for 3 people, to take for a little stay. The pool was great. The surroundings are lively not far from the place Clark Quay it's great!

Good price service breakfast a bit overpriced.

Spez. Room (2stöckig) with a small toilet (however, quite sufficient. Unfortunately, the Windows cannot be opened. So it smells a little spec before the air conditioner turns the air.

Unfortunately the rooms are in poor condition, toilet is on 1m2 much too small. Bathroom molds in front of you. Breakfast is very good.

Good location — only few minutes of walking to Clarke Quay. Front desk stuff is nice. Good room layout. But very awful maintenance. Stayed in room 712 for one night and felt very happy not to stay longer because the room is not clean — couldn’t help wondering if they did clean the room or not because they let guest check in. Room carpet is dusty and there was someone else’s hair and a tiny spider on pillow. Would not book again.

Booked. 2 nights stay and upon checking in the staff are attentive and fast. Went into the room witch was on level 8, the room design was not to bad but must put in extra efforts from the turn down services plus th cleanliness of th room so I request to change my room cause is not well kept and not clean. At the reception grace was very kind and she provided excellent service to me. Upon check in another room, I were said this was abit worse then the first one so the next day I asked if I can change my room again and without any hip ups the front desk manager upgraded my room for free and now in this new room on the 9 room was wonderful, nice view, clean rooms. I am very delighted that the hotel staff are willing to go the extra mile to ensure the happiest of the guest staying here and to make up for me which is inconvenient to change the room for a second time the manager wrote me a apology card and give me fruits baskets. I am caught by surprise of the staffs here going extra mile for the guest and try to always provide the best service to the guest. I will highly recommend this hotel. The staff went way beyond and provided an excellent services to compensate the lack of cleanliness but this is not the staff fault so I suggest to the management of the hotel group to put in more effort to give a proper cleaning course for the room services. Overall I will return again to the hotel.

This was our second time doing staycation in Studio M. Room is not very spacious but we like the two storeys design. It looks modern but in fact it's a little bit tedious if you are frequent washroom user. Hotel is clean and tidy, reception is welcoming and smiling all the time. Location wise it's near to the Singapore river which is good for a evening walk. Room is quiet and clean too.

The concept of this hotel is attractive with its duplex rooms. Unfortunately the execution is not the best. The rooms appear to have lacking maintenance and gives the room a very worn and dated feeling. Luckily the front office staff are helpful, but there is little they can do when the rooms are in the condition they are.

So I booked this hotel and thought the bad reviews could have been bias. But unfortunately they are rather true. This hotel was not up kept and the breakfast was horrible. It is definitely better compared to a hostel but no better than a 3-star.

A pretty decent hotel, I'm happy to have stayed there. If I'm honest, I booked before reading many of their reviews, and once I had read them, I was a little concerned. However, I'm glad to say that once I'd arrived and checked in, everything was just right. The room was of a decent size and the loft style was an interesting quirk. I will admit that I didn't use the upstairs all that much but there were days that I sat up there and read a book. The shower and toilet are in individual closet type spaces, and although that might sound small, they are roomy enough. I'm a big guy and I managed it just fine. Having a basin outside of the toilet was a smart move. The bed was big and comfy and there was enough space for my luggage and to hang my shirts. There wasn't a closet, the hanging rack is above the luggage area. Housekeeping looked after my room each day and there was a daily knock to see if there was any laundry. I put a single shirt in and was surprised to find it returned same day (I had put a non express service). The pool is decent enough, but could do with a few more loungers, the gym is open to the air although cooled by fans. I didn't take breakfast or use the cafe. All in all, the staff were helpful and the room of a decent quality, I'd stay there again, but ask for a room with a view (mine faced another wing of the building).

The hotel furnishing is modern and it gives off really positive vibes. Rooms are well designed, with a staircase inside leading to a bed on the upper deck. Would definitely go again in a group of 2-4.

I booked Studio Loft room in Singapore for my parents and myself during first week of July 2017. I booked the hotel at $189 per night and was expecting a hotel with decent size rooms and services. 1. Reception: Their reception is highly inefficient, had to wait for 30 minutes after a long trip and they didn't even bother to offer a welcome drink.
2. Rooms: Their rooms are very small and has space only for a double bed. You cannot keep your luggage as the rooms don't have a cupboard. You cannot sit, as the rooms don't have chairs. And you have to eat on bed as there is one small table on balcony section. The rooms are so small you can hear when someone goes to washroom and what they doing.
3. Bathrooms: They have separate washroom and bathroom. I am warning you don't stay their if you are afraid of small closed spaces. Both washroom and bathroom are 3x3 feet size. It's like you are in a jail where you have to pay a ransom of close to $200 a day to stay. They have a sink in the room itself and not in the bathroom, where you have to shave, brush, wash face etc etc. 4. Service: They don't provide/exchange toiletries everyday, you have to ask for it by calling their service department, which they don't pick unless you call like 10 times. They don't even clean your room/washrooms everyday unless you beg for it. They don't even provide water everyday unless you ask. 5.

I can only fight the creaking door in the toilet.

Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever, so lovely and great first impression of hotel. Couldn't have been more sweet, giving me directions to a function I was attending along with a helpful map, ensuring parking in car park and facilitating an early check in. If nothing else had gone right with hotel this lady ensured I would have left with a good impression. Fortunately everything about the hotel was exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in both bar where we had lunch and restaurant where we had dinner. Food was beyond good and great value for money and service in both places attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

I xsonalmente I found reception amazing, comfortable but especially in the center then there is gym, swimming pool, Jacuzzi etc. Nn do not miss anything.

Hotel staff Good location.

Floor area of the room is too small, especially after you've brought in all your stuff. While the hotel wants to be hip and minimalist at the same time, it did not reflect in the room. It appeared ordinary and drab. The curtains were no longer pristine white and it felt dusty inside especially in the loft. The carpet and bed had cottonball dusts on them.

Room was in terrible condition upon check in. Wore down and chipped furniture. Requested for a Change of room and given a similarly run down room. Through out these times no staff came to our room to find out more. It was only the three time that our request was taken more seriously. The sound isolation quality of the room is also terrible. We could hear adjacent rooms easily and this problem was compounded by the hotel allowing more than 2 guests per room. It was also extremely difficult to call the front desk for assistance. When it comes time for breakfast, there was no system nor process at the egg station. One would be told to come back later after ordering, only to realise that they have given all the eggs to people who came after you because they waited there. So you have to wait from scratch again. What is the point of asking you to come back later then?

Nice hotel at SG The hotel have a good location, 10min walk to go at Clark quay and 20min to go at marina bay, 2min walk to be at Robertson walk and enjoy one of the plenty restaurants around The internet connection is available everywhere in Wi-Fi in the hotel and include in the room price (that's not the case for the most of hotels at SG)

Great room for Singapore, made better by amazing mattress and sheets — but unfortunately all that greatness is lost due to dirty mouldy showers and a kitchen sink that doubles as a wash basin to brush your teeth. Location is good if you want somewhere quite, but still close to the action. Staff are very helpful, responsible and capable at every opportunity.

Rooms are very clean and well decorated, albeit a little small. Loft concept, with a short stairs up to the bed area, while the toilet and main area is the bottom half of the floor. Pool area and gym sufficiently furnished, and I really liked the couches by the poolside. Nearby restaurants and ambience is very well suited for the high life, especially at night.

Staff is good and the rooms are clean. A Little small but pretty decent for the price. It's my second choice for a hotel in Singapore and they have some pretty good coffee on the street level. Decent food choices nearby.

Great hotel surrounded by bars and pubs and good restaurants. Not near mrt though. Loft rooms are interesting, but a bit too squeezy for me. Love how everything is white, which feels very clean. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are decently priced.

Price/performance ratio is OK, the room is relatively small and needs getting used to sharing… smells musty, the staff friendly, the Breakfast is very good.

Very small rooms. Bathrooms almost unusable. No dry place in the shower room and the door could not be closed because of water damages. Bad smell I room. Breakfast very delicious.

Located in magnificent area near various attractions.

Me, my dad and 2 other friends stayed here for 10 days whilst the grand prix was on. The people in reception were nice and helpful and spoke good English. The rooms where nice. Although in our shower and toilet there was quite a few tiny flys that kept coming back even after getting rid of them. Nothing extreme though. It's in a nice location close to chinatown and the riverside bars. All in all a good experience.

To me, Studio M Hotel stands out more than other hotels situated in Clark Quay. It was a new type experience to stay there. I have stayed in many other hotels in my life, but Studio M hotels experience has been different due to its unique rooms. All rooms come with a mezzanine floor with sore/optional bed. Some rooms have a good view of river from bed, unfortunately mine wasn't one of those. Bed was comfortable. Hotel service was good. Rooms weren't smelly although I did find cracks on the wall and few spots. I did enjoy the breakfast on the first day of stay but it kinda got boring after 2 days, because their menu for breakfast is same for everyday. A little variation could be better. Another thing is that it is very far away from MRT station although there is a bus station nearby. Other than that, enjoyed staying here and will stay in future again.

I like the rooms and the location is great but the service is infuriating. Some examples: — Most attempts at ringing reception ring out, if you really need to talk to them you must try for 10 minutes — Understaffed so difficult to talk to reception in person. Generally a waiting time of 15-20 minutes — Asked to extend my stay but was told there were no rooms available and it was not at all possible. Had to pack up and check out, went on Expedia and there were 7 rooms available at Studio M hotel — Emailed the manager of the hotel with a complaint about the bullet above, no response or apology Next time I stay in Singapore I will try one of the other hotels in the area — hopefully this is Studio M service levels and not Singapore service levels.

Everything has changed — especially the price-performance ratio.
Modern hotel, we can really recommend it.
Prudent, daily laundry service.

Very disappointing. Room very small; extremely poor state of repair with cracked tiles, scuff marks, broken plaster etc. Toilet/shower so small as to be almost unusable. Given the price, totally unacceptable.

Excellent location. Poor service. Positives — Rather affordable laundry (6 SGD for shirts) — Location — Decent facilities — Free Wi-Fi — 24 hour coffee shop at lobby. I think they also serve beer. — Decent rates; especially last minute. — Right by river, great for runs/whatnot. Negatives: — Forget evening workouts. Gym closes at 9pm. Yea, really. — Desk staff nearly helpless if you're having issues with Wi-Fi. — Room sizes incredibly small when considering the nightly rates.
