Love the hotel atmosphere and friendly environment. Clean room and the design of the room is nice. Staycation for Xmas celebration and they even gave each room a complimentary ginger bread man. Nice and quality food as well. Highly recommended hotel to stay.

Really convenient. The place is really clean and neat. However, the state quarantine meal need to improve. Otherwise, everything else is really good. My kid and I enjoyed the stay.

Well we are going through our SHN and confined inside the room. But hotel staff is absolutely very caring and prompt. I wish one day I can come over and say thanks to wonderful people in person.

The only reason we had stayed at this hotel in September, 2017 because it was close to many of the attractions and it was the cheapest in the area. We had booked 2 rooms and the cost for each room was S$106. Breakfast wasn’t great, but don’t read much into this comment as we are vegetarians. But the breakfast spread was the same every day. Only good part of the hotel is it’s location and pricing. Please do not expect top notch service. Bathrooms are extremely small but we managed somehow.

I loved how friendly all the staff were, I felt safe there and the pool is just amazing! The rooms are a great size and the beds are super comfy. I recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of staying there! The views from the rooms are amazing and it is in a really nice location, hoping to go back there some day!

We stayed here for 2 nights. Simple and clean. Perfect if you are on a budget and just need a place to sleep. Breakfast could be upgraded a little. There is also a booking fee if you check in before 2pm. Otherwise we had a great time.

Could do with more tables for breakfast, but when you can get one breakfast very good. Staff nice and helpful. Rooms are well equipped and well designed, view from upper floors is great along the river.

It's quiet. Hotel stuff are friendly. Prices are good compared to hotels around that area. Location is good as food stalls are nearby and most importantly the service is very good. Very enjoyable stay!

Very poor customer service: A pyjama was missing from the room on the second day of our stay (stayed there for 8 nights). We brought the problem to the hotel staff, who answered that they will investigate, but our problem "Not having a pyjama" was never addressed, and the escalation to the manager took 2 days. Anyway the manager did nothing different, as to "investigate" and the final answer was there was no trace of the pyjama so no responsibility from the hotel. We bought a pyjama for 30$ and ask the hotel for a full or partial refund of the pyjama price which they fully denied (even though we spend 1100$ for the 8nights reservation), the manager offered as a compliment a free late checkout which we refused since it does not address our problem at all. Summary, if you are looking for a hotel with OK location and don't care much about some missing items from your belongings Robertson Quay Hotel is the place for you, otherwise don't stay there. Room: The room was quite small, the bathroom is plagued with disgusting small insects (photos attached) very bad hygiene, the blankets for the bed were old and ragged (photos attached). Manager: no customer service at all. Breakfast: No options to chose from is a very greasy breakfast, I ended up choosing only the orange juice and toast bread.

This is a well placed mid-range hotel. The rooms are fairly small, and ours only had a shower, not a bath — but all of this is made clear when you book. They have air conditioning, which is necessary in Singapore. Our room had a view of the river and the pool — which was a good place to cool down after a hot day in the city. Most well known sites are walkable from this hotel, though the mass transit subway system is only 10 minutes (slow) walk away — Fort Canning. The free breakfast was ok, and had enough for vegetarians like me.

Nice hotel situated close to Clarke Quay on Singapore Riverside. Very good position! The rooms are small and old-fashioned. There is a breakfast room, but what they offer is poor and not very varied, for a vegetarian or a vegan it is a real problem, since there is only meat or eggs, just some beans, and orange juice packaged. Not even a bit of fresh tropical fruit, in the tropic Region, it's really strange!

To the lot is a little cheaper, but the hotel should have some equipment, room small, no slippers, small towels, air conditioning uncontrollable temperature, the whole room has moisture, swimming pool is small, locker room has urine flavor, breakfast poor, in short do not recommend.

Great location, easy walk along the river to Clarke key, close to many bars and restaurants. Beds clean and comfortable. Nice pool.

Reasonable breakfast offered with the usual toast, eggs, beans, cereal etc. Available. Room was well designed to maximise features with limited space, has hairdryer, toilet can be used while someone is showing, nice size windows and dark curtains. Given the location, meal options nearby are on the pricey side. 10-15 min nice to one of the subways, though I am not confident that I found the closest one.

The location is great and for the price the room is pretty good. The biggest downside is the staff. The Filipino receptionist offered me a "deal" involving cash even though I had booked the room online. The whole "deal" sounded pretty shady.

Hotel Robertson Quay is located by the river, 3 minutes from the Metro. Very beautiful place.

Our room was small but clean, well-organized, and had a really nice view of Clarke Quay from the window. The price was reasonable for its great location. All of the staff we met were nice and ready to help, too.

This is the second time I've stayed here in three years… for a good reason… the place is lovely and clean, the location is excellent and the Italian just below is tranquil. The hotel rooms are relatively small but to be honest you can't fail to be impressed by the way they utilise the space in the rooms. I will certainly return.

Hotel is not very big, beautiful environment! A few years ago, it was nothing! Now the building is impressive! Unique location! Standing on the Singapore River! Picturesque! A good place for a relaxing vacation! The surroundings are tree-lined! A variety of bar restaurants a lot of choice! This area is one of the major leisure and entertainment places for expatriates in Europe and America! Of course, there will be a lot of local people to this leisure consumption!

For a tourist trip the hotel should be fine but for business trip it isn't a good option. Service is not adapted and we wasted too much time sorting a reservation already made for which all the payments were already processed. You want to avoid this kind of experience when you travel for business and have a week busy enough not to add unecessary talks.

The Rooms are pretty minimalistic and the bathrooms were very small. The rooms were missing on some basic needs such as water, Shampoo and decent closet space. Breakfast was complimentary with decent food although it was a no go for vegetarians like me for whom the only options were Juice, Breads. Overall okay.

Older hotel that was affordable. Friendly staff. Decent British breakfast. They could use a decent toaster as there was always a line up. It's time for a Reno job as it is showing it's age. All in all I would stay there again.

Tiny rooms but that's very common in Singapore. They have a day use option which works well for business travel if u just need the hotel for a few hours before you head out for a meeting. It's really reasonable as you can check in anytime after 8pm and use it for 5 hour slots. Way cheaper than a lounge or hotel near the airport. It would be brilliant if they offered the day use option for the wee hours in the night as I usually land around 4 or 6 am.

I had really a weird experience… hotel stay was below average as the rooms were very small, no porter facility… U have to carry the luggage urself n the most worst part was the breakfast as the same breakfast was provided throughout my stay n the staff serving breakfast was very rude… with zero hospitality. Sorry will never visit this hotel again.

Close to clarke quay. Good facilities and lots of restaurants and night life. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

Amenities just like a budget hotel, the room are small but appointed. Free buffet breakfast but the spread is repetitive and limited and virtually nothing for a vegetarian. Location is nice, close to Fort Canning and Clark Quay MRT. Walking distance to Clark Quay, a lively place by the river, full of eateries, bars, pubs.

Overall feel and atmosphere plus scenery is very good location wise. Staffs are friendly. Everything else is up to standard as per what you expect for the amount you paying.

Rooms are nice and well maintained, good views of the river from some of the rooms. Good for familys due to the connecting doors that can be locked. Fast Wi-Fi and breakfast included. Hotel staff helped with lots of tourist attractions and helping us get here, would recommend.

Central location adds on to the value … apart from that nothing really good to appreciate cleanliness part of course is good… well thought of.

It's worth with the price, the building seems old but the room is nice. Like typical hotel low budget, the room not so big, but I still have space for praying. They provide simple breakfast with the same menu everyday. The location is really strategic, you can just walk to qlarke Quay. Near convenience store too. But the nearest MRT station or bus stop is about 7-10 minutes walking, no problem for me.

We stayed at the Robertson Quay Hotel in Aug 2017. It's an older hotel with basic amenities. Not for those expecting luxury! Rooms are nice and clean. All facilities provided, except water bottles in the room. We only had breakfast from the hotel. It is very basic. Not vegetarian friendly. And it was the same spread everyday for the 06 days that we stayed. It's very conveniently located and competitively priced. So if you are looking for a good budget hotel, Robertson Quay is a good option. Staff is rude and not too friendly or eager to help 

I booked my hotel online directly from Robertson Quay hotel website on 12/7/2017. I was prompted to key in my credit card details. I went ahead with keying in my credit card details on the website for payment upon hotel confirmation. After the payment, I received a confirmation e-mail from the hotel. As this booking was made on behalf of my Japanese guests who came over to Singapore with his family for a  holiday, my company thought of booking accommodation on behalf of them. When my Japanese guests arrived at the hotel, the hotel staff demanded them to pay a full amount upon check in.   The guests tried explaining to them their situation but the staff were not flexible with allowing the guests to check in first despite knowing that the booking details would have clearly state that the booking was done by me. Reminder, I was already told to key in my credit card details while I made my booking online. They could have dropped me a call to check and clarify the issue, rather than letting my guest not check in on the first day of their trip in Singapore.   Our guests have to drop a call to our director and our director immediately rush down to make a full payment immediately. With the bad service, I decided to cancel the rest of the guests’ stay at Robertson Quay hotel and the cancellation fees adds up to a total of $659.20 excluding taxi fares).

Good price. Great location. 10 minutes walk to Orchard road. Clean rooms. Highly recommended. To borrow Iron — go to reception and ask for it, give a refunable $10 deposit.

Good location in the city center. Room a little narrow with difficulty to open 2 suitcases at a time. Average cleanliness. Breakfast room really very sketchy. Staff at the reception very friendly.

Nice hotel, clean small room. But nice for good price in Singapore in good location in Clarke Quay. Lovely to go and return. Some reviews said the room smelly and bad receptionist. Its not happened to me and my wife. I think the hotel is improved. But luckily this moment there is construction works near the area.

The room is cheap but didnt hv shampoo, tissue, hotel shoe, etc n hv nothing at all the room super small reception guy worse the Wi-Fi super weak like turtle the breakfast not good enough so little food.

Receptionist's attitude stinks, he asked me if I wanted a higher level so I asked my friends for their preference and he interrupted by saying 'why ask for their opinion when you're the one staying, you should make your own decisions'. I dont know about you all but this was really uncalled for and rude. The room smelt very bad, floor was sticky and the cups had stains that had to be washed with lots of soap. Room's aircon vent trapped with ciggarette smell, had a headache from it. Will not come back again, would rather top up a few more bucks for a better quality hotel. Do not recommend anyone staying here.

During the day the tree shaded stretch along the river is ideal to go for a walk and stop in one of the many little Cafe’s. The area seems to be popular with the locals to walker their dogs and also mums with small children and prams as it is less crowded. Robertson quay is excellent at nighttime with a incredible amount of international restaurant choices, plenty of bar’s and night clubs.

You get what you pay for. I have been to Singapore lots of time the last 4 years, have stay on different hotel as I like to check them out. Fist thing, they do not have door boy, so you need drag your luggage in and up to the room self. Front staff just did his job, nothing less or nothing more. The room was okay, nice view and good bed. Free Internet, just missing the small things like water in the fridge, shampoo, conditioner and toothbrush. No info sheet / book about the hotel. When asked about the *small things* they gave us toothbrush and told us to use the liquid soap. We stayed there 3 nights, had good sleep. The b-fast have cereal, bread/ toaster egg and egg and egg. Baked beans and snags. Coffee tea milk hot or cold. Marmalade. Same every day, (same as on other hotel). Last day I needed use the printer and the computer to book in online, when done I asked how much as that was a fee to use the computer, but They did not charge me anything. I asked about extra towels and no problem to receive one. I sure that You need be little polite when asking for things, Do not demand. I would stay there again, just hope they drop the rate with $20 / night.

Booked my mother in there as the other hotel we booked for both of us was way too small (Studio M) and much like the first guy said it was terrible, was pretty depressing didnt want too loose the $150 AUD cancellation fee so she stayed there but yeh was pretty crap dont do it unless ur really broke Might add the staff were awesome just the hotel itself is pretty Budget.

220 SGD für eine Hutschachtel von DZ ohne Schrank und ohne richtige Dusche mit reichlich unfreundlichem Service sind keinesfalls gerechtfertigt. Dazu war Zimmer und Bett feucht und klamm. Positiv ist die gute Lage und der kostenfreie Parkplatz. Fazit: nicht empfehlenswert.
