Good place for a quiet and subtle weekend for cheating lovers looking for something lesser wild.

Hard to believe this is a 4 star hotel where we paid £300 per night! We stayed for 9 nights and they “cleaned” our room 3 times only. When I say “cleaned” I meant they changed our bed and towels. Everything else was full of dirt and dust. The bathroom sink was blocked and we could smell tobacco in the corridors. One day I had to call reception because we’ve run out of toilet paper. The breakfast was, at best, poor with very few options and bad food quality. Stay away from this hotel, it’s an absolute rip off!

Good Hotel with a great Hospitality. If anyone coming to Singapore, Furama Riverfront is the best hotel to stay at a low cost but luxurious. I recommend for anyone coming to Singapore. I stayed for 12 nights and it was awesome.

I have a prepaid booking for 28-30 of June made 3 months ago for a family of 5. I'm very disappointed that you cancelled my booking a few days before my flight from the UK. Can you give me a good explanation as these is a very appalling customer service.

Had dinner at the The Square. It is far most the worst buffet that I had been to. There are less than 10 hot dishes and less than 10 cold dishes to choose from. The food is worse than a normal Zhi Char stall. Best is, my whole group of 5 is paying almost $300 for the meal and it does not include drinks even ice water. For drinks even ice water, we need to top up $3++ for it. This will the last time that will be there ever again. Strongly discourage to eat there.

1) A hotel staff, an uncle, who was stationed at the entrance of the hotel on 23/12/21 at around 243-255pm refused to let me enter the hotel using the front entrance at first. He asked me to use the back door. I thought there might be some kind of COVID 19 rules enforced so front door entrance is not allowed. Silly me to believe this uncle at first. I really obediently walked one round of the hotel, wearing heels and carrying a bag of heavy stuffs but still couldn’t find the so called back door. I went back to the front entrance again and was shocked to see that uncle allowed people to enter the hotel using the front entrance. I asked uncle again, this time very firmly, that I am going to Waterfall Lounge (inside the hotel) and why he didn’t allow me to use the front entrance. He suddenly told me I could enter. When he refused to let me enter using the front entrance at first and asked me to use the ‘back door’, I had to pass by a group of guys who looked at me in a disrespectful way and made cat calls at me. That group of guys could be seen very clearly at the front entrance of the hotel where uncle was stationed. Upon reflecting, perhaps uncle wanted to play a bad prank on me by refusing to let me use the front entrance at first so that I would have to walk the other way and passed by that group of guys. Maybe uncle wanted to see the guys’ reaction when I passed by. If not, how can there be such a coincidence? This is such a bad joke as I felt very humiliated.

Family sets from Kintamani were superb! Delivery super on time!

Food was nice! Price was super reasonable! quality and quantity was value for money… Most importantly the chicken seasoning was good! and the sambal chilli was the best of all best! Thank you! Will definitely order again!

Very disappointed with their food. Only yesterday night food is delicious, other day the meal totally cannot eat, we need to order food from outside.

THE SQUARE @ FURAMA has just launch their weekly buffet menu. (all in accordance to safe management rules and guidelines)
Had a chance to try their Dinner Buffet Spread and can only say the food and service is of top quality.

The room service hours pretty much sucked, but I suspect it’s because of the outbreak and quarantine measures put into place.

Their chef doesn't know how to make the food cook"ed", disgusting chicken (not fully cooked, more than two times in a week) are served.

Overall the food was very disappointing and we shall take note not to order from you again. 1. The fish was not fresh
2. The oil used to cook the glutinous rice was also not fresh
3. The packaging was very poor. Hot and cold items were packed together so the watermelon and kueh lapis in the bento sets were hot. The kueh lapis was also oily from the rendang. Osmanthus jelly had started to melt.
4. The drinks were replaced without notice and it was packed with hot food. Moreover it did not taste pleasant at all.

Suitable for family dinner. Nice environment.

Went to the kitamani restaurant to do my food tasting. awesome restaurant and delicious food.

Did a Work From Hotel with them and it was definitely worth the $28! The seat I had in the lounge was comfy, and despite reading people's comments of them being slow, the service was quick and efficient. I definitely made my money's worth on their free flow of beverages! The $15 dining credit was sufficient too. After a morning and afternoon working, I took my daughter to Waka Waka where she played till the point she cried cause she didn't want to leave. The day ended with dinner at the Square where service was top-notch and it was so convenient to have a play area for the kids. We got there just as dinner was about to commence at 6 and managed to get a table right by the play area! Would do it all again.

The Waiters and Waitresses are very professional, friendly, helpful and efficient. They attended to our request promptly. Everyone of them are proud of their job being part of Furama RiverFront. A memorable triple birthday celebration here. — с Chee Seng Lee.

We were at Furama Riverfront for lunch and were greeted by the friendly hotel and restaurant crew at The Square. It’s been a while since we were here and we missed this place. Good to see their beautiful spacious new hotel lobby. The crew at The Square were very friendly, prompt in their service and gave us a lot of information on the best food deals they are coming up with and shared how they are keeping us, patrons safe when we dine in. Philip (Chua) and Mazneen really stood out. We love chatting with them. It must have been challenging for them to serve the customers behind masks but we knew they kept their smiles through their eyes. Thank you so much for the amazing service despite the challenging time. The food is superb. We love the thick curry laksa and fish and chips. We will be back because of the people who served us and of course the delicious food too. Keep going Furama Riverfront Team! You have all done very well!

The location on Outtram Road is excellent with great local shopping. The hotel is old school with excellent staff and clean rooms.

Lovely but a bit dated hotel. Very very clean, the staff can't do enough for you, the buffet breakfast is lovely and choice is very good. We missed our flight and we was given our room with breakfast at a discounted price, only 1 downside we wasn't asked to leave our room after checkout at 12pm so we didn't realise till the evening we had missed our flight.

Pleasant experience. The rooms are a little dated but comfortable, the hotel has a decent facade and lobby. Swimming pool is large and family friendly. Breakfast food is more than decent. Service of staff was great. Price is reasonable too.

We stayed on the executive level, with breakfast every morning and canapés and drinks in the evening. Also included was a phone, yes, mobile, for you to use for the entire length of the stay. It was fantastic value for money. The room itself was large, with a huge comfortable bed and fabulous bathroom. The swimming pool was great and necessary. Staff were great. I would highly recommended Furama riverfront hotel.

Our family has previously stayed at the Furama Riverfront years ago when we had a wonderful stay. It was because of this that we decided to return again on a recent stopover to Italy. What a mistake! My sister and husband had paid for a quad room with late checkout. Despite having written proof that they'd paid for the late checkout and quad room, they were advised they hadn't received any payment, and forced them to pay again. Further, the quad room only slept 3 people, and …they were forced to pay around $250AUD for 3 nights for a fold-out bed (which took hours to receive following numerous follow-up phone calls to reception). Not only were the substantial extra payments unwarranted, the hotel staff were extremely rude, unhelpful and unaccommodating. Unfortunately we are booked to stay again on our return from Italy in a few weeks. Since it's during the F1 Grand Prix, we are unable to change hotels which would have been our strong preference. Needless to say, we are not looking forward to this experience and will never return. Looking at the recent reviews of this hotel, it is clear that we are not the only ones who've had these types of issues. Staff attitude is a major problem and needs to be improved as a priority.

A-May-zing! Fantastic hotel. Staff very welcoming and helpful particularly on reception when I was trying to check in. As as slight mix up with my booking so they have me a complimentary upgrade… I didn't even ask. Reakfsdt great value and quality too.

Stunning service, great cuisine, amazing apartment!

From our arrival until check-out we have received a great treatment from everybody working there. Check-In was great, received a complimentary upgrade and were up in our rooms within no time. Rooms are spacious and the view is more than great. The Breakfast Buffet they offer has something for everyone. Hash Browns, Eggs, Croissants, Cake, Fried Rice, Noodles, Curries, Fresh Juices, etc. We didn't do lunch or dinner here as it was on the pricey side compared to what you pay in one if the Hawker Places but Breakfast was good. We will definitely come back and stay here when in Singapore!

Never again! Very old, expensive and unrenovated hotel with bad location, away from everything. Small rooms, from 1980s… Bathroom door and door-frame has sucked moist and got a lot of black mold, but it did not have any interest of any staff… Reception staff very unfriendly and started blaming Agoda for our reservation that they could not fullfill as reserved. Old beds are hard as pool tables, I would not let even my dog sleep on such hard surface, almost same as sleeping on stone floor… Cleaning staff also very unfriendly, and when we asked towels and amenities for number of people (3+2, as kids stay ”free” in same room) sleeping (and pre-booked) in our room, she did not give any, just said: This ”Superior Classic” room is meant only for two people… Even we had 1 queen bed, 1 single bed and one extra bed in our room and room was legally pre-booked for 3 adults and 2 kids. ”Free Wi-Fi” in our room was limited to 4Gb for whole time as we stayed 3 days and 2 nights… Price for only one extra bed is 60 SGD per night. We paid of our room for 2 nights, without breakfasts, with tremendous Agoda discount and with non-refunfable prepayment, 220 SGD per night, with high hopes, and did not get even enough beds (as Agoda reservation system allowed us to reserve this one room only, as family). At check-in we fought 30 minutes with reception staff to get even that one extra bed into our room, so one of us did not have bed at all, during the whole stay.

This was once a grand hotel but it's maintenance is sadly lacking. Rooms are clean and comfortable however. Staff are courteous and knowledgeable. Don't be fooled by the name — it's not on a riverfront! Plenty of taxis on hand to get you around. The breakfast is good with plenty of food and a good variety available. Good pool, small gymnasium and expensive self serve laundry (16 SGD per load)

We had an excellent experience there. Hotel was clean and staff extremely polite and attentive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I read some reviews before we left. You just have to remember it's a hotel/business and not your home. Singapore is superb.

Delicious and varied food. The rooms are clean. The phone with the internet and cards bonus goes.

The reception officers are very helpful and recognize the clients well. Has a very well equipped gym as well as a nice outdoor pool.

Nice hotel however it is not on the river front so the name is deceptive. Lovely pool area and restaurant along with cakes and coffee selection. The room we had had an excellent shower and comfortable bed. The only mark down was an aged and marked carpet which was showing its wear. Despite not being directly on the river it is just a sort walk away to Robertson Quay where the river side restaurants begin.

Nice place with an awesome breakfast buffet & excellent service staff. The amenities look amazingly fancy! The hotel also have an option for express check out where you can pay your bill at the time of check-in and just drop your key card in a box at the reception during checkout. It also has a beautiful bar, swimming pool & gym. Massage services are also available.

Came here for a 2-days event. There was no nursing room but the staff arranged a guestroom for me and another breastfeeding mum. Really grateful for that. The room is clean and cosy. The food from the Indonesian restaurant was not bad too.

We stayed there for 3days. Its awesome we spent my daugther's bday and they surprise my daughter with cake n balloons. Staff are friendly specially Ms. Grace the duty manager. Thank u for the warm accomodation. Our room is big. The swimming pool is also nice n clean plus the kids pool water slides and accesible for us … highly recommend this hotel for everyone. We will definitely going back here…

Nice room-air conditioning system and furnishings in good condition, great buffet.

It's a okay place. Wouldn't want to have my wedding here though. I was invited for a wedding event. But upon my arrival, there was no one to bring me around or even talk to.

Enjoyed the Indonesian buffet at the Indonesian restaurant. Food quality was good and with the DBS card discount, it was a really great deal. I really enjoyed the satay and and the prawns. Also, make sure you try the dessert! Excellent fruit and a very nice wide selection.

Hotel Facilities OK, staff friendly, breakfast buffet very good, devaluation: the room on the 19th floor smelled very uncomfortable after mold and chemical mace (the deficiency was so well known), the window could not be opened! — We stayed 6 weeks ago at this hotel on the 6th floor, the room was good and the window had a ventilation slot.

Very clean and friendly hotel and staff. Very attentive and helpful. Facilities and rooms are fine if a little dated and in need of a lick of paint here and there, but whose looking at that when the service is so good. Highly recommended.

My room was extremely dated. There were no power outlets near the desk, making it hard to work on my computer. Odd curtain situation — no sheer curtains on the windows, only thick blackout drapes (dirty with holes) and wooden shutters. So if you want natural sunlight in the room, you sacrifice privacy. Toilet was also strange. The seat did not stay up by itself, problematic if you are the 50% of the population who pees standing up. These are just some of the oddities about the room, there were more. On the bright side, the pool area was nice and the hotel lobby and restaurant are beautiful. Free 3 hour bike rental was a plus too!

Amazing stay, staff was very nice. Rooms were spacious and clean. Excellent place if you prefer peace and quiet. Slightly outside the main attraction areas. But who cares as long as you can have a great affordable stay.

Location of hotel was on the outskirt of town but a short cab ride can bring you anywhere in city within 10 mins. Was at the in house restaurant having company's Christmas dinner. Food was good and service was good. Will recommend the restaurant for large group of family and friends gatherings.

+ points = very central to the city. Walking distance to Orchard road and Chinatown. — points = No attention to details in the standard of the room. Pretty basic in standing. Breakfast buffet is not the best as pastries and breads are frozen stuff and flavorless. Lots of Chinese food or Indian variety at the buffet depending on what you like. Staff not really friendly and no customer oriented.

Cozy place, friendly staff, bath tub is a bit old. Fridge is empty for you to fill your own stuff if you want. Other instant coffee/tea, mineral water is free. There is a mobile phone available with unlimited local calls and LTE data connection. This is a HUGE plus point, you can bring it out and never get lost. But it was not charged when I checked in because power was cut off if there is no card inserted. This can be improved by a always-on power supply to the phone so guest can use it immediately after checking in. It would be a perfect 5 star if I did not get hurt because of the poorly designed chair. The metal part above the wheel is sharp and not covered by any plastic part. When I moved the chair around, the metal part hit my heel. You can refer to the photo for better understanding of the situation.

Pros: A standard 5 star hotel with all the expected amenities. Big rooms with full width windows and a nice view of the park is what I liked. Service was prompt and delightful. Cons: Breakfast closes by 10:30 am, which in my opinion is too early. A lady staff technically shouted on me cause I dialed (I guess) someone higher in the management than room service (cause they have 2 phones in the room, she wanted me to dial via other phone — which I suppose is confusing for a lot of people). Not a nice way to treat guests, eh!?

It's a good hotel. Good, comfortable and clean rooms. Service for 4k, but the food is excellent in the form of a buffet with a bunch of all sorts of dishes and seafood.

We are staying here via a travel consultant. Every thing is great but did not like that $150 was taken from our credit card upon arrival. Was not explained to my query why? Think it is to give you credit for extra room services. Will find out when we book out tomorrow as have ordered a couple in room meals. Quite taken back with the amount charged for the buffet dinner for two. $91 which included guest discount. The meal was not that good either. Breakfast good value. Room great. Staff have been good. It is a bit removed from places but that is OK. All accommodation can't be near tourist or eatery places.

Double Five star hotel in my books… def worth the money. Clean and spacious rooms, staff cater to your every need, no language barriers which is important when travelling in foreign countries.

Not worth to spend for this 4star hotel which is only worth of 2 Stars. Staff members from front desk to room services are unprofessional and not polite. Only few room has Handy phone. Not available in family rooms. Money minded hotel and no hospitality. Should improve on the cleanliness. Bath towel was had dirt and we should ask for the floor mat in bathroom. Room was not properly cleaned for 2 days out of 5 days. No shops are near by and MRT is in 1.4kms far away from this hotel. Front desk staff will block few dollars during check-in irrespective of paying the full amount for the stay. Complementary water bottle was not replenished twice and room service guy was arguing with so authoritatively to charge me for the water bottle. Stay was the only concern during my visit and the rest of the country was awesome.

Room is great, very spacious, the travel buddy is a brilliant idea and we have used it a lot. Downsides are no bar area at the pool, the windows have horrible green stuff on the exterior so you can't look out of the window. Also minibar has nothing in it.

The hotel claims it to be a four star hotel but is short of good services. The rooms are old and carpets are very old. The lounge is big but again furniture is very old no better than club entered room. Staff not very cordial & ask to many questions for any additional service. There is one annexe too but looks disjointed.

Food was so so. Service was great, staff were courteous and helpful. Location 2 bus stops away from Chinatown still considered quite convenient.

Had a meal at their buffet restaurant. Really loved their Indonesian food. Lots of variety and awesome taste! A bit on the expensive side, but for the food it's worth it!

The function room of the event I attended was large and easily accommodated the 300 or so persons. However air-conditioning was a bit lacking. My wife who easily gets cold found it on warm side. The interior is dark overall probably to convey some place cozy but the dated carpet and fixtures makes it look more gloomy than cozy. The entrance/lobby is a bit out of the way and takes a bit of uncovered walking to the nearest bus stop. On a positive note, the bee Hoon they served was rather tasty and hot and cold drinks service was good. Toilets were clean but again I found a bit not well lit for my taste.

Location is rather inaccessible by public transport. It is recommmended to take a taxi instead. Service at The Square restaurant was superb, however food served was a letdown and definitely not worth its price. Hotel in general looks splendid and very clean.

The place is a little old and run down. It needs a renovation to keep up with competition. However there are a couple of good restaurants to keep the place alive. Will recommend for food.

Exterior is rather old but interior is well furnished. Venus ballroom is large and spacious, well lit with high ceiling and no pillars, ideal for a wedding banquet.

Good hotel and friendly staff. Especially Louis the porter is one of the friendliest employees in the hotel. He remembers your name and always makes a little chat. He really gives a memorable service to this hotel.

Great hotel, good service, food buffet, a very large selection of various cuisines, I counted only about forty types of cakes, pretty much everything in General, excursions, swimming pool, gym and cultural staff. I really liked the hotel. Recommend.

Nice hotel, very classic old style. But too far from anywhere, long walks to MRT. It is close to Robertson Quay which we discovered as a new area we had not been to, and a great place to eat. Would go back to other locations we have stayed previously, closer to everything.

Nice hotel but starting to age a little. The suite I had was recently renovated, big, and open which added to the sense of space. Location is good, 15 minute walk to Central along the river. Breakfast was a good spread and the staff always helpful.

We had 2½ days in Singapore and staying here was a wonderful experience. The Concierge fellow was so helpful. Very central to all hot spots of interest. Taxis very affordable and hailed for you by the staff with very short wait times. The room was very spacious and well equipped. Highly reccommend staying here.

I was a walk-in customer to the Kintamani Restaurant on 23rd of March 2014 with my parents. When we walked into the restaurant, there was a bubbly host to greet us and take us to our table. The ambience and decor reminded me of a small cottage. It was cosy. We sat down to the buffet dinner, eagerly awaiting the flavourful tastes to flow into our mouth. We were not disappointed as the spread turned out to be delectable with the beef rendang — their signature dish — blending in with the rice. We were highly satisfied with the main course. I visited the dessert section to take a look at the local delicacies available. There was a palette of colour in the delicacies (kueh). I selected one of each and returned to my table. Oh my god! My taste buds just got overloaded with the succulent kuehs. Main course and dessert was fantabulous and I throughly enjoyed as did my parents. I am a wheelchair user and I was pleased to see the staff helping me and my parents to settle down. The hospitality shown by the staff was wonderful. I would give the restaurant a 9.9 out of 10 rating and would definitely come back to eat at Kintamani. I also would recommend anyone who wants to have a flavourful meal to come here. Last but not least I would like to thank all the staff for helping us. I was happy to enjoy this day as it was my parents 19th wedding anniversary. Mohamed Zimnaan, 14 yrs.
