Neftekamsk is a city located in the Republic of Bashkortostan in the Volga Region of Russia. It is situated on the left bank of the Kama River, approximately 220 kilometers from the regional capital, Ufa. The city was founded in 1957 as a result of the discovery of oil in the area, and its name translates to "oil on the Kama". As a result, Neftekamsk has developed into a major industrial center, with a focus on oil refining and petrochemical production.
