Hotel Moskvich

The room is clean and spacious, but a bit dirty!
The food is a la carte, every day for breakfast there is porridge (different, but not tasty), and 2 eggs in different forms (fried or boiled), a sandwich with cheese and sausage. There is no alternative. When booking, breakfast is indicated as BB — is it all inclusive? Or all inclusive?

We lived in "Moskvich" for four days in December 2023, I expected worse, but the hotel unexpectedly pleased me and really liked it. We lived on the fourth floor, a standard double room with a kitchen, a toilet combined with a bathroom in the room, there was a large balcony overlooking the pond / although we didn’t need it in winter, but probably good in summer /. There were large TVs in the room and in the kitchen, Wi-Fi was also available, the furniture was new, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom had shampoos, brushes, soap, paste, and a toilet. Paper — everything is available, in the closet there is a set of towels and bathrobes for everyone, everything is clean. The breakfast turned out to be quite tasty and edible, the restaurant is cozy, there is a choice of tea, coffee in the pot, milk and cream, pour it yourself as much as you want. The staff is polite. We ordered food from the restaurant to our room in the evening, everything was brought hot and very tasty — kebabs, Adjarian khachapuri, garlic croutons, a vegetable plate, we liked everything. The location of the hotel is very convenient, the area is beautiful and quiet. I removed one star — the room was cool, but there was a heater, and the internal telephone did not work to call the restaurant or reception. Everything else pleased me, I recommend it.

The room is cold. Despite the fact that it’s +2 outside. Unbearable smell of swamp and mold in the bathroom. We were on the 10th floor overlooking the pond. Standard with kitchen. The floors are creaking, the handles on the furniture and the doors to the bathroom are broken. The mattress is a separate issue… it's lumpy. The pillows seem to be filled with pure foam rubber, which simply breaks your neck during sleep. The furniture everywhere is terribly damaged. Three stars only for clean towels, bed linen and bathrobes. Everything is snow-white and without stains. The wallpaper is coming off. Pasted with bubbles. You can do something like that for one night while passing through, but for 5700 you can rent a cleaner and more comfortable room in the center. I don't recommend it. Soviet scoop (if not worse)

The hotel category is ideal — 2 stars. This needs to be understood so that there are no unnecessary expectations. We lived in a deluxe room (16th floor). The room is large, 1 room, interior in a classic style. Soft carpet, hydromassage bath. Toothbrushes, soap, shampoo. Soft towels. Kettle, refrigerator, glasses, cups.
It's not very far to the metro, but you'll have to walk.
1. No tea, slippers, air conditioning.
2. The room was not cleaned (we stayed for 3 days)
3. Equally tasteless and lacking in variety breakfasts.
4. Two-star service.
5. It is indicated that the Cafe is open until 00:00, but in fact at 21:00 nothing is open anymore.
6. There is no drinking water either in the room or on the floor.
7. The room is cold.
8. We lived with a child — there is no separate sleeping place. As well as towels and pillows for him.
9.2 small uncomfortable pillows.
10. A torn piece of belt on one robe instead of a full one.
Overall the hotel is not very friendly. But we had no choice (all acceptable options were sorted out for the required dates). So thanks for that too)

It's difficult to rate this hotel. There are many shortcomings in it, but it’s a matter of expectations. I gave it an average score because I didn't expect much. And now in more detail.
Location:
Hotel Moskvich in the Tetilshchiki metro area is a Soviet heritage. The hotel got its name because the AZLK plant was located nearby. In general, the location is good — the metro is 5-7 minutes on foot, which can be walked along the shore of the pond and in the shade of trees.
Reservation, number.
The Soviet legacy is felt in many ways, but there is a question of price. The price when booking seemed very attractive — three thousand per night (single occupancy). Then the surprises began. The confirmation said that you need to check in before 18:00, otherwise the reservation may be cancelled. If you don’t have time, call (to be honest, I haven’t encountered this at all). I didn’t have time and called, they told me “no problem — come. ” I arrived around 19:00. At the reception, the girl spoke very kindly and sweetly said that 1) you will have a shared bathroom with the neighbor’s room and 2) there is no room of the chosen category, we can provide you with another one, a thousand more expensive. (Why did you call and confirm then? ). At the same time, the bathroom is still shared between two rooms. Apparently, the design features of the hotel are such that the bathrooms there are combined into two rooms. But I didn’t see this anywhere when booking. Unpleasant surprise.

I had not so good experience living there. Room smelled sigarets and cheap perfume. Parking for additional 300 rub.

I had a good stay. The weather was snowing. Perfect for my travel. The service was great, only the personnel need to learn more English words. The food was also great and some dishes probably custom made for the Russians.

Polite personnel – that's the only positive thing here. Some rooms are awful, some are nice… but having absolutely no sound proofing, you won't be able to sleep at night anyway.
