And the money is considerable, which is compensated by the prestigious location of the point.

I can't understand how such a great hotel has such bad food.
The view from the room was great, the room is spacious, at reception everyone is very friendly.

Beautiful Hotel, a real 5 star but without the service of a palace. The rooms are large and bright. Especially ask for a room with a view of the Kremlin, this is the main asset of the hotel. Moreover it is at 800m from the Red Square, 5-10 minutes walk, just cross the bridge you arrive in front of Saint Basile, the Red Square is right behind. It allows to make a jump in the evening for the illuminations or in the morning to visit the mausoleum of Lenine. The Kremlin-View room costs a small fee per night. Also ask for a room with modern decor if it matters to you, some are in a style a little… Retro.

Moscow, 1991. Oh 2018… The room condition is disgusting. I think the air conditioner adjustment should become the hotel's emblem.

The bed and room is cozy. It’s indeed outdated but still clean and acceptable. Gym and spa facilities are good for a city hotel as well as is in-room dining. What is bothering me the most is the personal. They are unfriendly, not proactive and don’t make much of an effort to not show you that they actually would go home. The Door Attendant decides weather to open you the door based on the car you are arriving with. Cleaning personal is on its own not quite precise but listen to (English) feedback openly. In short: the facilities are worth a 5 star rating however the staff needs training.

Built in 1898, Baltschug Kempinski is a luxury hotel located close to Red Square in heart of Moscow, across river Moskva. Red square is 10-15 minutes’ walk from the hotel. This landmark hotel has excellent level of service, rooms were very neat and clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant had good variety. However, 2 complimentary small bottles of water per day in room were not sufficient enough for one person. In addition, one has to deposit money to get mini bar unlocked.

Top. Very luxurious but also very upscale prices. Moscow is also a very expensive pavement. Be sure to go in the afternoon for a coffee, cognac and homemade chocolates in the hotel's own café '.

Today I was at a well-respected conference, for which the premises in your hotel were filmed.
Let me remind you, they were filmed. For the payment. Arriving at the conference from another city, received an offer to pay for the storage of luggage (for the first time at conferences in a similar level of hotels).
It's not about the money, it's about the non-random passers-by who put their luggage in the storage room, but the people who could but will never be your customers.

Great hotel, fantastic location and very good service. Just one key reason why I can't give this hotel 5*, the inability for the hot water to be constant. Investing in thermostatic shower is critical. Also, don't tell your guests that they have a nice view if it's not the case ;)

The second time at this hotel, the first was underwhelmed for a number of reasons. The second visit was a success. Got a cozy room overlooking the Red Square. It worked and everything was necessary.

When they're all buried, they're sick. We'd get out of the cars and try it at 8.50 to walk down the street. Balchug to work, probably would have been buried right away. There was a normal tile, all the squire.

It's a great view. The very center. Prices are off the scale. Far from the subway.

It's a great hotel in a perfect location! It's a little old (outdated furniture, old carpets), but it has all 5 star amenities you might want. Given we are in Russia, you will have to ask for it, when you do though, you won't regret it. E. G. Best massage I have ever had at the hotel was here, fastest in room dining. Their cleaning crew is not spectacular, but they listen to feedback, so make sure to make corrections/recommendations if something bothers you.

I have been a very loyal guest of this hotel, as I stayed here many times over a few years time. However unfortunately I have seen the customer service getting worse and worse, not even close to a 3 star hotel, not even saying 5. The team lacks totally management skills and how to provide good customer support to develop loyal guests. As Moscow offers many great options for similar or lower prices, I would recommend you find another hotel which might be much better and provide good customer service.

We had a corporate event. The location is super, the place is very beautiful, prestigious. The organization is top notch, the staff are very friendly and well trained. In general, there are no complaints to the place. A little upset food, brought raw meat (so you understand — roasting some had blue rare — it's only for fans of raw meat, I somehow more like medium or medium well. )

The hotel is nice, but besides smiling and being polite, the staff at the reception totally lacks problem solving skills / experience. I checked out, then told the reception girl that I needed to point out something about the room, in private if possible (since there were other guests checking out near me). She was probably too young and unexperienced to figure out what I meant and finally refereed me to the concierge. When I handed the concierge the pair of ladies panties that I had found in the top part of the wardrobe and told him that it did not belong to us, and most likely was forgotten there by the guest before, he blushed and had a shocked expression on his face, hardly managing to say "sorry" and asking me to repeat the number of the room. Poor cleaning and even poorer complaint management.

Nice hotel in across from Kremlin and st basil. They added an awesome new park as well right across the canal. 2 good restaurants.

Excellent location near the Red Square. It has a small gym that opens from 7am. Amenities provided in the room. However they don't have kettles or iron boxes in the room — in this day and age!

Very fancy and impressive hotel — almost too fancy for me. Perfect for Red Square and relatively close to the Metro.

Hotels rarely open new restaurants within its walls, and from Kempinski I such did not expect. Last fall at the hotel inspire fine dining restaurant "Baltschug Grill". The menu is dominated by grilled dishes: turbot, sea bass, ribeye… all prepared in an open kitchen in the restaurant. A lot of interesting original salads and snacks. The format is designed for one hundred percent. By the way, it serves a great Burger. But most of all I liked the relaxed, natural atmosphere of the restaurant. There is no feeling that you're in a big hotel, cozy and with impeccable taste. Not always the restaurant manages to combine and view from the window, and good service, and excellent food.

Best hotel in Moscow. Wonderful spacious rooms, with excellent views of central Moscow iconic sites. Rooms are luxuriously equipped. The menu from room service is wonderful and all the staff are most helpful. 1st class all round and highly recommend.

A great hotel and a perfect location in the city centre. Awsome view! There was some construction work going on in the lobby but it did not disturb us. The rooms were great and the breakfast and the restaurant were excellent. The fitness area was nothing special though. Certainly recommend but can get very costy!
