Schloss Hotel

This hotel is not worth the money. The rooms are well cleaned, that's all. Breakfasts are the same for 5 days, take out oatmeal with a liter of milk, wait for it to swell. Good orange juice from a bag) nothing to choose from. Dinner in a restaurant costs 6k for two and a child, and the child is served boiled Ostankino dumplings. It’s better to eat at the Cactus cafe on the beach, it’s 3 times tastier and cheaper. It's just that no one monitors quality here. And the pool was cleaned on August 31st, it was not open until September 2nd, we left on September 4th — the showers were never opened at the second pool. Holey robes, damaged towels. The area is beautiful, but open, with tour groups passing through. In the bathroom the curtains are open, naked you greet everyone passing by. The faucet is rusty, the wallpaper is coming apart. 17k per day is clearly not worth it. 3 stars for the place itself. Go to Zelenogradsk or Kaliningrad itself.

The hotel is located on a quiet street and overlooks a park adjacent to the beach, i. E. You walk along the path and immediately find yourself in the park and then to the sea. The location of the hotel is simply great.
We lived in a room in the old main beautiful building. The room is comfortable, spacious with a small balcony, the bed linen is perfect. Everything is in good working order, new and beautiful, it’s nice to touch every detail.
Absolutely clean in the room, on the territory and in the whole hotel.
In honor of the birthday, which was already on the day of check-out, the hotel gave pleasant gifts in the form of a bouquet of roses and a plate of fruit.

The hotel is quite good, although not 5 stars, of course. For 5 stars, it is necessary to have a number of frills, which the hotel does not have. Very nice area, green. Delicious cuisine. There is parking for clients on site, which is very good. The rooms are cleaned regularly, towels are changed, but I didn’t notice a change of linen in 6 nights. Maybe I didn't follow? The hotel restaurant has a compact but tasty menu. But the size of the restaurant clearly does not correspond to the number of guests, and at breakfast you may well not find a seat for quite a long time. In addition, the restaurant does not have such a figure as a head waiter, which is strange for such a place. The deluxe rooms in the old building are quite spacious and equipped, but the bathroom, stylized at the beginning of the last century, seemed very uncomfortable and dark. Inconvenient shower over the bathtub instead of a cabin. Splashes fly in all directions and nothing stops them from flooding the floor. There is no shelf or hooks for towels, they are simply placed on the heated towel rail. Perhaps the rooms in the new building do not have these shortcomings. The hotel does not have live music in the lobby in the evenings. Although the hotel area is fenced, the gates are open to everyone, which does not add privacy and tranquility. It would seem that it would be easier to make electric locks that can be opened with a card from the number.

Stayed with my husband for 2 nights in June 2023. Complete disappointment, no level of a 5-star hotel for 19 thousand rubles per day! The standard room in the new building is tiny, the bathroom is maximum for a 3-star hotel. Toiletries were as cheap as possible, the towels were old and with threads sticking out, there were no slippers in the room, the bathrobes were thin and also already washed. The bed is large, the mattress is good, but for some reason there were 2 narrow blankets instead of 1 large one. Perhaps if we had contacted the reception, some issues would have been resolved (they gave us slippers, measured towels and blankets), but in a 5-star hotel you expect a decent standard of room right away, without additional comments. A separate disappointment is the breakfasts. Well, what kind of sausages are there in a 5 star hotel? There is no service, the waiters are students who are just trying to clear the coffee that has not yet been finished from the table. The food is decent, but it's not 5 stars. If you didn’t come for the opening, you will most likely eat at a table with crumbs from previous guests and a dirty tablecloth. The choice of food is standard and simple (2 types of eggs, a couple of cereals, casserole, pancakes, vegetables, red fish, cheeses). The bread is the simplest, white and black, 2 types of baguette. Coffee, tea, champagne — self-service, no 5 star service.

The service is excellent, starting from check-in, service in the restaurant to breakfast.
The service staff is dedicated to creating an excellent comfortable stay. Friendly, responsive, intelligent, efficient. Beauty, cleanliness, elegance, pleasant atmosphere, the purest Baltic Sea with white sand just 2 steps away — I want to come back again!

The hotel has a beautiful area and is located almost in a park) The cool beach is 2-3 minutes on foot.
Beautiful restaurant, delicious breakfasts with sparkling wine. Dinners at the hotel, the fish is excellent. An interesting specialty dessert is Shloss. I liked the spa center, the cool pool in the rotunda and access to the grass with sun loungers.
We had room 217 in a new building, with a view of the territory and the park. The room is not very big, but comfortable. Beautiful linens and a comfortable bed, I slept well. The faucets in the room don't look very good, it's time to change, but everything works properly.
Clean room and hotel in general.
Pleasant and polite staff, responsive to requests and wishes.

The spa and rotunda with pool are in need of a facelift and look a little tired.

This is not a 5 star hotel, more like a 3 star hotel. The hotel was dirty, customer service was non existent. They need a lesson in what a 5 star hotel experience is about. The General Manager Natalia needs some training in how to treat customers. Our dinner experience was ridiculous. Is it normal in a 5 star Hotel restaurant to have your main course served to you whilst eating your starter? Natalia seems to think so!

Probably one of the best hotels in Kaliningrad region. Good design, perfect location next to the park and the sea. Restaurant on-site is also good, but seems a bit overpriced.

Very nice hotel direct at the Baltic Sea. Really friendly stuff. The breakfast was excellent.

Schloss became our sanctuary! The hotel is amazing with great rooms and the hotel restaurant has an awesome kitchen which can offer different kinds of cuisines from very Russian to exquisite French. We really enjoyed our time at Schloss. The bartenders especially made our time spectacular, Stas being the best! Thank you for our lovely stay, we will be back!

The staff is extremely nice and helpful, and joyful. The room itself was ok, a bit dirty carpet, but didn’t bother us too much. Spa is fine, nothing outstanding but gives you an opportunity to relax. Parking is free and usually available. The only problem for me was the food in the hotel, we ate lunch and it was bad, with hair in food and on the plate, tasteless spaghetti and awful pumpkin ginger soup. It was so gingery that my whole body started to burn and the truffle oil was rancid. Breakfast is ok, I guess, but the pancakes tasted like they could use a little less sugar. Beer in the hotel is overpriced for the area.

It’s a 5 star hotel, so we expected a high level of service. We were supposed to stay for several days. We came with a friend who was single. We got a very small room despite we were a couple and they got a very large room. We asked to get another room next day when one if our friends departed (actually his room), we were promised and then the next day, they gave this room to someone else. We asked again. Again we were promised a better room tomorrow and when tomorrow came, we could not change the room, despite the fact that another our friend came and was given another large room. I think it’s unacceptable, they didn’t keep their promises and even didn’t apologize. It’s a 5 star hotel and we expected a 5star service. But we felt neglected. We wanted to stay for more days, but decided to move to another hotel.
