ERA SPA Hotel

Good rooms in terms of price/quality ratio. I read the reviews and expected it to be much worse. In general, the rooms are not bad, the only disappointment is the state of the shower.
There was no hot water several times, the receptionist said just wait. The water never appeared, so I had to wash myself with cold water. The woman at the reception is just cruel 😂 she communicates as if you came to visit her for free.

It's just a nightmare. All rest and mood are ruined. Today a woman in the bathhouse COVERED MYSELF. Because I clarified the operating hours of the bath complex… If she doesn’t like her job, let her change it, and not take it out on other people. Just a disgusting attitude towards guests. People stay away from this place. The hotel itself is ok for the money, apart from the fact that there is no air conditioning, it is very hot in the room.

With all the other advantages that have been written about in detail before me, I would like to point out a number of disadvantages:
1. Lack of a refrigerator (minibar) in the Standard room;
2. Lack of electric kettle in the room;
3. Absence of the federal channels "RTR" and "RTR24" in the package of TV channels;
4. Excellent audibility of the guests of the rooms next to you.

We arrived at the spa and called in advance to find out if it was open.
When we arrived, the reception said there was cold water in the jacuzzi (we were traveling because of it) but it would be heated within an hour.
The result is cold water, nothing warmed up. The water in the pool is cold (although they said it was 28 degrees), probably because the radiators were turned off and it was cold in the hall. In general, a child with blue lips and an upset family.

We rented a house! There are a lot of negatives about the house! All in cracks, there are no dishes (but they warn about this) There is no sink in the kitchen, if you cook yourself, then get ready to wash dishes in the sink, which is in the shower! And there are no chairs, all the chairs are downstairs! There is not even a kettle, you won’t be able to drink tea unless you order it in a cafe! On the sofas on the ground floor near the bathhouse, I would like some pillows or soft throws! There is no smart TV, and there are very few channels and poor reception, in our time this is a bit outlandish! And of course the maid needs to be reprimanded, she doesn’t do her job 100%! We rented for two days, ordered food from a cafe, but no one came to pick up the dishes from us! We carried them ourselves. Of course that’s the impression to yourself!

We visited the bathhouse on 11/19, before that we were in January of this year, the service got worse and worse, the men's steam room was dirty, the shelves were rotten, when I asked when the renovation was planned they answered, why? For 1000 rubles per person, I think the bathhouse should correspond, we came specifically to the bathhouse to take a steam bath, we will not visit this place again.

We visited the bath complex a week ago, there was a terrible smell of chlorine in the pool, we couldn’t breathe. They always walked around, rested, went out, tried to resolve this issue with the administrator, the administrator invited the manager of this complex. The woman is completely incompetent in this matter, communicates in a rude manner, answers any of our questions that the owner is not going to spend money on the establishment (it is inappropriate to say such a thing in general), I would like to receive an apology and attempts to resolve the situation, but no, it’s a pity, I’ll contact you sooner We went there all the time and there were no such problems, especially after communicating with the manager of this complex, the desire to come to you was completely discouraged.

I lived here for a week in November 2022. The hotel is located outside the city, there is no infrastructure around, you need to take a taxi to Kaliningrad or a nearby civilization — not long, about 15 minutes. Nearby in the village there are small shops like 24 hours. The rooms are new, clean, the entire hotel and rooms are a faceless gray European-quality renovation. Overall, not bad. Of the minuses — the kitchen — everything is tasteless — even the mussels managed to make it so impossible to eat, I only ate chicken soup with eggs and noodles — it’s difficult to spoil it) ) There is a spa complex, I didn’t get there, but I went for a massage there done by a woman, unfortunately, she didn’t remember her name — it was the coolest massage in my life — if you go to her for a week or two, I think you can lose 10 kilograms) ) On the plus side — it’s clean, very quiet, there is a spa area with sauna/massage/swimming pool and billiards. The downside is the lack of infrastructure in the area; you have to take a taxi to Kaliningrad, just like to Zelenogradsk/Solnechnogorsk a taxi cost around 1000 rubles.

Polite and friendly staff. Responds with pleasure to all requests and wishes.
The hotel does not have an elevator, and even the first floor of the hotel has steps. It was inconvenient with a heavy suitcase. Upon check-in, at the request of the administrator, a security guard helped. But the departure was early and I had to cope with this task myself.

I booked this hotel because of the spa — the pictures made it look quite nice. I realise now I should have paid more attention to reviews.
Location is quite far out of the city — about 25min by taxi. It’s not a very picturesque area either, leaving no inclination to stay at the hotel or walk around.
The walls are not even remotely soundproofed, you can hear everything that your neighbours are up to. Waking up to the sound of people slamming their doors is not quite my preferred alarm sound.
Access to spa and pool is paid and not part of your room rate. Only 1 bottle of water provided and not even a kettle in the room to make your own tea and coffee.
Room and bathroom was clean, good black out curtains and there was an aircon.
I booked a double bed which, for some reason, had a single bed duvet on it. A first for me!
The electricity kept tripping, which left me for long periods without Wi-Fi/ lights. I’m not sure if this is the usual occurrence or simply a fluke of my stay.
Overall I think it would be better to get a place closer to the centre of the city, it is not worth it to stay here.
Although, if you just want the bare essentials and don’t mind location, and weirdly sized duvets, give it a try.

Very budget hotel. Breakfast smallest in the world. Prices higher than total quality!

The hotel showed itself on the disgusting side. Arriving at the room, found that the room is not heated, it was colder than outside. When asked to do anything about it, the receptionist offered to give another blanket. So things are not done, then it was said that the heating was set up and in 30-40 minutes the batteries will heat up and the room will be warm. After spending a total of 3 hours in the hotel the heat never came to the room! The hotel management is not contacted, they do not want to make a refund. That is, it is normal for the management that after the bath complex you come and sleep in a cold room. The application for the refund was written immediately, said to contact the next day, now 6 days! I demand a refund!

Very small room. There is no hot water in cooler, only in bar you can get it. Spa for the money 350 per person, for children no discount. Clean enough.

Terrible rooms, staff and location. Plus dirty SPA with a lot of drunk locals. Unpleasant women working on reception, who hates the guests I believe. No fridge working in a rooms, no kettle or anything for I can make boiled water, no bath hygiene and simple soap is not available! If you ask for it in a reception, you will have to pay for a cap of water!
Breakfast is 4 eur p/person, which is so little, like for 4-years girk and you have to pay much more extra, because no-free milk included. We stayed there 3 nights and took the breakfast only once.
Kaliningrad we liked very much, but this hotel is the worst hotel I stayed ever.

Great place to stay, nice rooms and the food is ok. The russian steam room with pool have some interior problems but the rest is great and good price.
