Nice staff and great location.

Restaurant lo o is really nice but the food was a bit ordinary.

A cold, quick welcome. We are not even told where our room is.
After 5 minutes of research, we find a room with 2 beds, while are on honeymoon. 'sigh'
After a shower, we are entitled to the pestilential lifts of the pipes. Romantic, isn't it?
The next morning, no one for the welcome at breakfast. They're all smoking and chatting in the yard. The breakfast itself is low-end.
Fortunately, Sighi-oara is a splendid city. Just pick another hotel.

It was a good experience here, the hotel is situated right in the center of the citadel and has surprisingly affordable costs. The room was stunning, amazong interior design. But the breakfast was poor. Besides it, everything was ok.

The price is too big for what they offer. Mo hairdryer, no extra bed, no… I am not recomending it at all!

Breakfast with little variety for the price it is. It's not worth paying for. Curtains that let the sun pass from 5:30 in the morning (although this is common in almost all Romania). They say you can pay by card but you get there and it's not true, they only charge in cash.

The furniture is a little sloppy and needs a touch-up.

Located right in the Citadel Square, Delicious food, very polite staff, acceptable prices. I highly recommand the traditional dishes.

The hotel is located in the medieval citadel in one of the marketplaces, the medieval room, unfortunately if there are any outdoor activities, the noise is very disturbing and you can not rest. Serving in the restaurant unfortunately desires and breakfast is rather poor.

We just got back from there. I miss you already. Thank you very much, it was a pleasure to live with you. Let's have breakfast on the terrace and start talking to the night.

A cute hotel in the centre. Good location, but you cant get there with a car.

Located in remote historical old Saxon German village of Viscri in Romania. You feel like you have gone back in time. Herr Wagner was great. Speaks German, English and Romanian. Our group had both a wonderful dinner — with killer moonshine plum "brandy" and wine, followed by a good breakfast the next morning. Wish we could have stayed longer. I forgot to take pictures of the food. Blame it on the moonshine even though I only had a sip.

I’ve had pork ribs roasted in the oven with fries and bbq sauce. I’m rating them 4.5/5 and I do recommend them. The price is not very high either. (8-9 euros)

I was expecting more from what I saw online. The room was big and warm but the furniture is not vintage, its plain old and a bit broken. The bed was also very big, but just ok in confort. Breakfast was a bit under par as well, no orange juice, no home made cake. Service was good, both in the hotel and the restaurant. All in all, for 45 euros per night, a little short to deliver.

Great place to stay Loved the decorations and furniture. Really puts you in a medieval mood. Great staff.

The food is really horrible!

They could have paid me and still I wouldn't have stayed here. Google should introduce 0 stars just for this place. Here's my 2 cents (the rest is free) : 1. Front desk guy (let's call him FDG from now because he is a recurring theme) is clearly overworked; we saw him in the morning, late at night, and again the next morning. Did he sleep at all? We know he's a nice guy, but you don't have to milk him like that. 2. FDG also appeared somewhat disoriented at times. He repeatedly got our names wrong, with the same wrong name. 3. In 10 minutes I saw at least 5 guys walk up to poor FDG and ask him where the restaurant was. Those people actually walked past the restaurant door to get to FDG. A proper sign would ease his misery very much I'm sure. 4. We had to wait till 3PM to check in. 5. FDG is doing the check ins on an Excel spreadsheet. Little wonder we had to wait till 3PM. 6. The only fan in the room was broken. It doesn't rotate, and the top speed button had a nice piece of tape running over it. We got the hint — it's broken. 7. A call to our favourite discombobulated FDG about the fan was in vain. We knew he wouldn't be able to show up with a new fan. He would first need a new Excel sheet. 8. No shower curtain over the bathtub. Hello wet floor. And goodbye if someone should slip and accidentally get killed. 9. The furnishing is bare to the bones and yet still manages to scream for replacement. If furniture could get raped, this is what it would look like.

Weird situation. Coming for the second time (after all good, standard European 10% tips) we've been rejected to be served inside. Sitting outside we've been offered only for drinks, but people at another table had some food. What the hell was that?

Lovely vintage place to sleep. The rooms are beautiful and the views are amazing. The bed was comfy, the floor have this creak sound, which sounds oldish. Only one disturbing thing would be the smell of drainage into the bathroom.

Bad quality of the food. Congelated food. But big portions for those who prefer quantity instead of quality. Nice waiter.

Sighisoara is amazing and a step back in time — unfortunately so was our room in the hotel. Am sure Casa Wagner has some amazing rooms but unfortunately ours was not one of them and to make matters worse we stayed during the recent heatwave (lucifer) so the heat in the room was unbearable and we had the choice of plugging in the fridge or plugging in the fan — we plugged in the fan (which also doubled as the hairdryer mcguyver style) — went to phone reception only to find that it didn't plug in anywhere — at the point the hound of the basketvilles shared barking in the outside courtyard (you couldn't write this stuff) BUT I do have to say the beauty of Sighisouara made up for the room — fab restaurants and pubs.

We had 4 beers and ice-cream. There was only one type of ice-cream, which was alright. The waitress was really nice and then outside tables placed around flowers and bikes with flowers. On top of that, the restaurant also offers a far view of the covered stairway.

Very typical accommodation in a historic monument. Very good reception. Calm and serene atmosphere.
Breakfast OK The bedding could be renewed. Since the hotel and in the heart of the Citadel, the parking is at the foot (about 10 min walk).

Quaint hotel in the heart of the Old Town.

Great place to organize an event. The food was absolutely delicious and the waiters very professional. The rooms are lovely and the marital suite is outstanding. They have a wine celery located downstairs. The atmosphere there is great. Next to it there's a small bar that can be used for preparing drinks. The restaurant is at the ground floor and is quite spacious. The breakfast was delicious (they had some sort of sweet bread filled with vanilla that was too good).

Have a drink here but stay away from the food.

Great spacious room, unfortunately our bath was lacking a shower curtain. Fantastic location in the centre of old town. Breakfast could do with a bit more attention to detail and TLC.

The general problem in Romania is that the food is monotonous and limited choice. There is the feeling of eating the same thing everywhere.
We must welcome the efforts of the Casa Wagner to offer quality food, if not original. A special mention for the Ceafa of pork, soft and well understood.

I went to the restaurant during the Sighisoara Medieval Festival and on the menu it stated to be a 'special menu'. I didn't find anything special about the menu, on contrary, there were few dishes available — some soups, grilled meat and side dishes. The goulash soup tasted good, but there wasn't enough meat in it and was a bit boring. I also ordered mititei, which were good, and french fries, which were again a bit boring. On a very hot summer day, staying in the interior garden (terrace) wasn't such a good idea. Almost no breeze in there and although we were in the shade of an umbrella, it felt really hot. (probably the soup didn't help either ;)

The hotel is located within the Castle and consists of two opposite buildings. Interior is very stylish.
Breakfast is to criticize that the waiters have no interest to make the tables clean, also the buffet is the guest closest — ask and ask if what is missing, the staff is in the kitchen and megaprim.
Internet — Wi-Fi works – if at all – only at the reception. One finds a better Internet cloud in the next door which hostel, there is a restaurant, where you can surf comfortably in the shade on the Internet.
The restaurant of the hotel — under the trees — is reasonably priced and very good. In contrast to the staff of the breakfast buffet, everything is going on extremely great and fast.
All in all still highly recommended, by the way, parking fee is 15 Leu (ascent to the Castle) and per entry.
