A big thank you to the whole restaurant team for organizing our wedding anniversary meal. A magnificent surprise, an alley of candles, a beautiful flowered table and a very good meal.

Beautiful hotel and caring staff! Products with very pleasant scents, great bedding and a lot of deckchairs, we do not ask ourselves the question of having a place and a kitchen at the top, we feasted.
Small downsides: unheated pool so the water is icy in winter and the massage was a little below our expectations…
We had a great time and will be back for sure!

Great setting, very nice hotel with impeccable service and friendly and warm staff.
lunch and meal very good. But to my taste big point NEGATIF is the pool NOT heated. Vrmt a pity for such a beautiful setting. (we stayed two nights and the weekend person has the pool) because too cold. Point to review for heated at least part of the pool which is very large and which we can not enjoy in this winter period of the year.
we will certainly come back in the summer.

From the welcome, to the attention of the various staff, the whole was a very beautiful discovery!
The outdoor space is large and you can sit pleasantly in any place and be served efficiently.
The room and the attentions are very appreciable.
Special dedication for the restaurant on the beach side where we had been like kings, a manager with a meticulous management! Well done!

Frankly me and my wife did not have a great weekend it was really nice, the staff very helpful, friendly, did not eat well, slept well, the room was superb and the pool was o top.

We came with friends for breakfast.
We were pleasantly welcomed by Lala the hostess dedicated to our table. A professional with a pleasant smile behind her mask and full of attention.

I am very disappointed with the welcome, I am given the card and me to go get my room then my darling offers me a bottle, 2 hours of waiting kind c is normal if I claim not any bottle arrives

Very nice hotel, nice, spacious pool, and comfortable room. Friendly dynamic and smiling staff. However the bathroom needs renovation: broken syphon, dilapidated shower head. Lack of space because difficulties to close the door. Dilapidated toilet. Global cleaning to review (spider webs). This is unfortunate given the prestige of this hotel.

Stunning hotel
The setting is simply sumptuous, the rooms are very large, the view is beautiful, the bedding is really comfortable.
Two small downsides for me: the bathroom should be updated
The receptionist was particularly nonchalant, bordering on rudeness.
Fortunately the girl who accompanied us to our room was smiling and warm.

Beautiful place, a little colonial air, beautiful gardens, a beautiful lagoon where I could swim with a turtle and beautiful colorful fish. A great Lux service, a real sense of welcome both very pro and warm. In short I only dream to go back … with the family!

Teams great on a beautiful site at the edge of the lagoon. Attention and very good advice. Food for all the mouths. And, especially on a site that respects the environment. It is paradise on Earth.

Superb hotel ideally located for a holiday of your dreams at the Meeting. Staff lovely, very available and full of attentions. Cocktails of qualities, meals (bar and beach) take to the road. The breakfast is really nice (with a special mention for the lady who takes care of the eggs! )
Spa really nice, we opted for a duo massage in front of the lagoon, relaxation to the sounds of waves and birds! Would not be the equivalent of a 5-star hotel in metropolis but on the whole, very satisfactory. The lagoon 2, it is really the top. Looking forward to be able to return there.

Huge disappointment for the spa! It was first necessary to 8 call for an APPOINTMENT. The first time, the lady says to me " I finished with my client and I'll get back to you in 5 min… 10 min goes by, I intend to move, talk, and then instead of picking up the call, it hangs up. I then remind you 7 times to be successful to have. There it indicates to me a available, the resa is made. Blow of bad luck, that day it rains and the massage takes place outside. It is said, it is a 5-star hotel, they have an alternative or we would have called. Thus we arrive at the hotel in the rain, we are received into the gym : not very luxurious by the way. The lady moderately amiable tells us that it's raining and it's going to be complicated, but if you want you can do it. I then ask him to show us the "kiosks" where the outdoor massages and she told me to put us in a bathing suit before. We change (in a kind of dressing room not luxury at all) it takes us to the place, she tells us, "if you're ok, once the massage started, it would need to pay in full no matter what happens" : not very luxury and commercial… Finally the rain starts again and it is she who decides that it's not going to do it. We leave as we came, soaked, with a simple " sorry ". The service is clearly not at the height of a 5-star.

Good hotel facility and moderate food. Beach fantastic, but strong current or tide?.

For a three-day weekend I thought I was in Mauritius with this welcome, this idyllic setting, this restoration and this staff service! Yet I was well on my island. Pure happiness!

Whilst reasonable but comparing with Lux elsewhere a bit wanting in service And had some maintenance issues. Otherwise not bad however not value for money. The facilities are however there with good mature gardens. The rooms were a concern with some cleanliness issues. Bathrooms were relatively small.

For a 5 star resort this has a number of concerns that in my mind make it fall short. I've given 3 stars based on comparing the hotel to other 5 star resorts. Obviously this is better than your average hotel. This place needs some serious touching up in decor. Paint peeling everywhere, knocks and scrapes, broken elements and pictures etc. They were renovating whilst I was there but to have let it get in that state in the first place suggests a lack of pride and care in the overall estate. This lack of care was also evident in the loan of the snorkelling equipment (loads of flippers but few masks and they are generally v poor condition). The drink/food arrangement is really strange too. Free drinks (fizz) at breakfast but you pay for water at dinner? I would expect water to be free in a 5 star resort not just 1 bottle per day. The restaurants for lunch are v expensive for what they are — get much better at the local restaurants and better value. The hotels main claim is being the only 5 star resort on the lagoon. It's a pretty lagoon but the current is that strong, with a beach that is covered in debris coral which make it not a great site to use so this feature is a bit redundant. They have a large pool (claim its the biggest) but not heated and not enough loungers in comparison to the pool.

We spent 2 nights at Lux Saint Gilles arriving from Switzerland. The hotel is very comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and the beach very beautiful. A big thank you to Stephanie who was an exceptional masseuse. Small downside on the equipment in the room, 2 bedside lamps did not work and the remote control of the clime that worked hard Otherwise it is a very nice place.

5 star Hotel, attentive staff and good food and friendly service. The beach is very clean and the water is warm and clear enough for marine fish to live in.

Excellent luxury hotel which deserves ample that we come to pause a few days.
All the staff are smiling, with our little care.
The rooms are beautiful, and the hygiene is on top.
Everything is really done so that we are relaxed.

An amazing Hotel and resort with alot of games and activities available. Enjoyed Snorkelling, TT, Tennis, Baddy etc Good ambience good co-operative staff. Need to be more conversant with french if u r visiting.

Every day this place positively surprises. A private beach and a separate children's pool, service along with friendly management and a large selection of delicacies from around the world combined with a selection of wines make this hotel unforgettable.

Nice hotel but cosntantly trying to upsell you and no full board option so have to watch the pennies which you don't want on holiday.

The rooms are not terrible, small, antiquated, the bathroom to redo… but that's all I blame at this hotel. Otherwise everything else is fine. Staff at the top, all the services at the top, the great pool, the restaurant well… I've been there three times and I will go back! I made a 5 stars and believe me, you have absolutely nothing to envy you exceed it widely.

A beautiful hotel on a beautiful site: The park, spacious and relaxing, gives directly to the sandy beach. The staff are attentive and very available. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed; Breakfast is a treat!

As with all the LUX* hotels was once again a great experience. My 3rd visit to a LUX* hotel and really enjoyed the experience. I recommend!

Possibility to have lunch on site and take an ice cream at the edge of the ocean.

Very nice hotel on the edge of the lagoon, where you can swim safely. Three restaurants including 1 gourmet. Very nice pool comfortable rooms overlooking a park but the bathroom is very small.

Very small standard rooms. Arrogant staff at the reception. Inattentive slow staff at the bar. The Candlelightdinner on the beach was really good and made us pay again. Very romantic and this time also with attentive service!

Hotel was OK but the Island of Reunion was very expensive and no convenient transport to get around on. If you have been to Mauritius you will be very disappointed with Reunion.

Majestic Hotel. Staff smiling and available. Real beach, which is rare at the meeting. Very nice pool with a child pool. Billiards, Babyfoot, children's Club. Very good breakfast, delicious pancakes, fruit juices pressed in front of you.

It doesn't get any better. Posh complex, 1100 sq. M. Beautiful pool, Sundowner Terrace, everything at its best. Also the prices. But you do not indulge yourself otherwise.

The hotel is exceptionally sumptuous, very beautiful exhibition just in front of the lagoon of the Meeting at the foot of the beach where you can took the plunge and discover magnificent make a marine. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated, the architecture of the hotel is very beautiful it is very well maintained and very very clean. The staff is the small treatments and friendly with the customers, when the food in the different restaurants offer tasty dishes and very varied; you can even eat or drink a good cocktail on a lounger at the foot of the water in front of the lagoon, the team at the bar and snack and really very friendly and warm. This is why I would recommend this hotel eyes closed, no negative point the name of the Lux it goes well!

Spent two nights in the hotel. Really everything was perfect. The staff is very attentive. The room service was invisible. But when you see your room tidy, you know they are gone. The bar area is great, the cocktails are made with a view to all. This is perfect. A big thank you to the server who took care of us at the buffet restaurant. A little man has bezel adorable.

Even quite expensive, this is excellent hotel and the structures are creoles style and is located on the beach. The concierges are very friendly and helpful. The personnal are charming and very helpful.

Very nice hotel ideally located the staff is always attentive only downside: when the hotel creates a campsite atmosphere (music, restaurant privatized for a group) until 1h du mat without warning its other guests.
Too bad for a hotel of this standing.

Perfect stay. Perfect staff that comes to the front of our desires. If the opportunity arises I would return to this hotel that we have already frequented the time of the lagoon villas.

The hotel was very nice and the room was very good. There is a good drink of Rhum wine, a delicious French restaurant and beach bar, a surprise welcome party and weekend Fireworks, as well as a variety of snorkeling equipment and marine sports facilities to choose from, praise a ^_^

Top hotel. Modern, clean, friendly and resourceful staff. Good breakfast. The lagoon has fish and coral and you can reach it from the beach without a boat, so it's very easy to snorkel. 10/10 would recommend.

All staff members very, very friendly. Outstanding garden. But: Our Room needs some renovation.

You can't fault the staff, they are friendly and treat you extremely well. The food was absolutely beautiful and tasty. My only criticism was that we weren't informed the swimming pool would be closed for our whole entire stay, this was a disappointment also considering we weren't allowed in the sea due to sharks. We played plenty of tennis, ran on the beach, and enjoyed some dancers in La Plage restaurant.

My son for the f ^ you fathers gave me a massage to 115 euros in outside view on the lagoon, view a metal fence for a spa a 5 star shame, under a stained top I had to put myself in as clothing in front of guests at the standard hotel rooms overlooking the garden.
in Mauritius we lend you the robe a worthy massage in a setting based after the massage a small infusion here dressed you and get out.

Friendly staff who are always there to help. The resort us ideally situated on the west of the island so you get great sunsets and a bit more sun than the south and east. Very large pool, a lovely lagoon and great food.

Great hotel, beautiful surroundings, very good quality restaurants, large pool and available personnel. Merit is 5 stars.
