Velero Hotel Doha Lusail

Had a great stay at Velero Hotel Lusail, everything was excellent from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, and having access to Doha Sands Beach Club was a big bonus. The staff and service were amazing, especially housekeeping huge thanks to Fofanah and Nazim for keeping everything spotless and making us feel so comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

This hotel is truly amazing, everything is spectacular the rooms are so luxurious and clean, the interiors are so nice and modern. I really love it, they are also so kind and nice they gave us a free upgrade when we arrived because the room we booked was not ready. The location is quiet and good. It was my first time to stay there but I will choose it again and again. I had a great time.

Such a nice hotel. Every attraction is near by. I really like the service that provided was excellent. I will definitely came back. I wanna talk specifically to Mr. Mudasir for providing a great service to me and upgrading my room. You’re the best. Thank you to you.

Wow! What a hotel, probably one of the nicest ones we’ve stayed in — not only does it have its own supermarket (absolutely huge! ) it also has a shopping mall with pretty much any item you’d need to buy.
The staff were fantastic, when we checked in and got the room had twin beds. We asked if there were any rooms with a double bed, and were kindly shown to another room to see if we’d like the view from there etc. We ended up sticking to the original room (staff offered to push the single beds together) but the fact they were kind enough to show another room etc spoke volumes of the service here.
In general the staff were brilliant, we stayed as a 3 day stop over. Upon check in we were given a refreshing drink, and as a part of the Qatar layover program it meant our checkout time was later in the evening.
Breakfast at the hotel was good, plenty of variety available to satisfy most people’s tastes.
The gym is one of the best hotel gyms I’ve used. There was a proper squat rack and bench press area complimented with a number of other weight machines (and cardio machines) with a good selection of dumbbells and free weight plates too.
Location wise we were literally 5 mins around the corner from Vendôme Mall and not too far from other attractions to check out. Would thoroughly recommend staying here — would have no qualms about going back!

I couldn’t miss the opportunity to share my sincere feedback about this hotel that I got to call home during my first-ever visit to Qatar. I stayed there for one month, and everyone truly made me feel like they were my family away from home.
From the moment I arrived at the airport at night, to my ride to the hotel with the amazing tour guide–like experience from Ajesh (hope I got all the names right because everyone was amazing) he’s such a genuinely friendly guy, always helping me carry my things and greeting me warmly.
Let’s not forget the concierge, and all the staff from housekeeping to reception, who greeted me with a warm “good morning” every day. The gym and pool staff were also wonderful.
And of course, I’ll never forget the delicious breakfast I had the pleasure of enjoying every day, prepared and served by the amazing team: especially Chef Hala (warmly greeting everybody everyday, checking if everything is well & insisting on making fresh omelettes 😍), Mr. Fouad, Renato, and all the lovely ladies and gentlemen assisting us.
The interiors were mesmerizing and spotless, and the view of the city, especially the Vendôme Mall and everything around it was incredible.
Thank you! I was truly sad to leave and can’t wait to come back again. You made my Qatari experience a unique and unforgettable one.

I am having a wonderful stay at Velero Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone. The location is perfect, close to attractions, restaurants, and transport, which makes traveling very convenient. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, creating a relaxing environment from the moment you arrive.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering great value for money with all the amenities you could need.
Cleanliness is exceptional, and I would especially like to appreciate Mr. Abubakar and Ms Su for their excellent work in keeping my room spotless and perfectly arranged every day, their dedication truly made my stay more enjoyable.
The hotel is quiet with no disturbance, making it an ideal place to rest, and the service overall is outstanding, with staff always friendly, attentive, and professional.
The amenities provided are excellent and really enhance the overall experience. Velero Hotel is truly one of the best hotels I have stayed in.

We stayed last year here at this hotel and it was such an amazing time that we still think of it and I finally do write a positive note. :) All the people working at this hotel were so polite and helpful. The cleaning was top and the breakfast was as well super! For all the tastes, European and Arabic there was a tasty option. The room was incredibly spacious and chic. We loved the little mall underneath and especially the short distance to the Vendome mall and public transportation. This hotel is a very good choice.

We were very disappointed with our recent stay. The suite was dirty when we arrived (cups left under the chairs), the kitchen sink was leaking, and both the outlets and the TV did not work. We also asked to change rooms but no one helped us.
This was unacceptable for a hotel of your standard, and we expect proper compensation :)!
However, we would like to thank Mainuddin, who did his best to assist us. He was very kind and tried to help as much as he could, and we truly appreciate his effort.

I had a wonderful stay at Velero Hotel. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere welcoming, and the service truly exceptional. A special thanks to the staff for their kindness and professionalism, and in particular to Aaram, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I look forward to coming back.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and nicely put.
The attached mall was very convenient.
Breakfast service was great. Food was 4/5.
Areas of improvement:
The combined shower and tub was impractical especially when bathing kids.
The bed sizes were a bit confusing. As a family of 5 (3 kids) we couldn’t find the room with the right bed count and size.

Very nice hotel, especially considering the price.
The only issue we faced was a noticeable sewage smell in most of the rooms. We had to check several rooms before finding one that was acceptable. I hope this issue gets resolved soon, as it would significantly improve the overall experience.

The room was spacious, clean and neat. King size bed with fluffy pillows was clean along with all sheets. Extra thanks to housekeeping team!
Breakfast time was enjoyable with my talented servant PEARLY and fantastic coffee maker MONDAY!

I had a wonderful stay at a Velero hotel in Doha. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had an amazing view, which made my experience even better. The hotel staff, in general, were friendly and welcoming. However, there was a small issue at check-in, as my reservation made through the app wasn't initially found. While most of the staff were attentive, I did notice that the front desk team could have been a bit more efficient. Despite this minor setback, I had a great time overall.

High tech luxurious rooms, great size swimming pool and what a location. It has an attached mall which is of great convenience. The breakfast was great and the staff were polite. Had a lovely stay. Highly recommended.
