I had a fantastic one night stay at the hotel recently. Hotel staff were amazing and couldn’t be more helpful. Facilities in the hotel were great, with a fantastic Greek restaurant and of course an amazing beach to relax and soak up the sun on.

I have tried to access to the Manko and a very incompetent manager was making a mess for the entry and probably for the valet service. Never again. You should get proper manager not just random people. Is it a 5 star hotel or a bakala? My god never again.

Beautiful high end hotel on the shores of the gulf with views of the man made Pearl island and downtown Doha. Excellent amenities, nice bars and resturants and very modern and up to date amenities. Only issue with my stay was just the construction around the hotel and the traffic issues it caused. One other concern is that it's not really walkable to any attractions so uber to town is required.

"Intercontinental Doha — The City" is a top class hotel and luxury facility located in West Bay. It is well accessible and a bit away from the very busy center of Doha, hence less traffic jam in its locality. The hotel is 5-star rated and rightly so. The staff, amenities, rooms, ball rooms, meeting halls, are all top notch. We held a musical concert there in July 2018 & the whole event was well managed by the hotel team. They have great security and valet parking. Lots of parking space around the hotel. Highly recommended.

Out here on my second business trip and for each visit, the staff at the intercontinental never failed to impress! They always put a smile on my face with the care and attention to detail always displayed! From the excellent pickup service at the airport with Raj the driver, to the attendants at the door and the tallest man I've ever seen to greet me! Thanks Momadou. There are just so many of you that made me feel at home here. The reception and concierge staff sorting me out with taxis every morning to housekeeping who kept me rehydrated in this heat. The biggest shout out goes to the food and beverage staff! The food is just too scrumptious for words! Liza, Joy, Rara, Reda and a whole heap of others were just so attentive to every need. A beautiful hotel.

It's a great hotel! Spacious clean rooms. Great service. Very much choice at breakfast. It's a great restaurant.

It's 9 years now since we came here for the first time. It has improve a lot on the facilities. We come just for the day-beach only. Spending some time on the beach, enjoying cold cafe lattes then at mid day, enjoy lunch… all we need. The pool is refrigerated and it has a bar on it…

It was a relaxing stay. We booked 1 night for a change and I can say that the room was so nice and the view are fantastic to relax for a while. Staff are friendly and very accomodating. We surely come back again to stay.

ICD is one of the professional hotels over the world. Rooms with sea view is amazing in addition to lighting systems, curtains, room facilities, hygiene, staff members at all seniority levels, and helpful front desk. Highly recommended.

It's always been my favorite place to visit. It has two bars. One. For the people who like live and chilling near bar table. And another it's nightclub! The best music played by most of the DJs! At the reception known as Paloma the manager and assistant manager… she is really helpful.! For the persons to chill out near sea and pool. Can visit one floor down from this level. Worth going to this place everytime!

This is a very good, elegant and quite place to be in, from the moment you walking in you feel welcomed from its employees. It is trike to walk around because the hotel has many entrances and different elevators, in my opinion they need to work on signs that provide the right info.

Saw Joss Stone last night! Simply amazing.
However, my hubby and I were a little disappointed over the lack of the formation regarding the time she was due on stage. We arrived super early in order to avoid any traffic.
Doors opened at 7:30, so we arrived at 7.00. She came on stage just after 9:00pm! There were no seating arrangements, not even a support band. Although, at 8:30pm a guy came out to sing a few songs, but even he didn’t no what time she was coming on stage. I feel more information needs to be announced to the public especially for those people who cannot stand for great lengths of time.
However, on a more positive note, I have to say, the staff were very accommodating and helpful even though they were under prepared and under extreme pressure (thanks Deborah! ).
For anyone venturing to a concert there in the future, my advise would be, contact the hotel and ask what time the entertainer will be performing, plus seating arrangements.
Oh, and one last point (this is directed to the hotel), when you are serving gin and vodka — please make sure you have plenty of tonic to hand!

The room was spacious enough with the big bathroom. Also, the room was clean and the service excellent. The hotel is not on the main road, so there is no traffic noise. I stayed only one night as I had a transfer flight the next day, and the hotel is a part of Qatar plus promotion offered by Qatar airlines.

I am not sure how to rate this restaurant. We went there for sushi night on Tuesday for 225 QR. I was craving sushi, I filled up my plate with all the different kinds. It was honestly the worst sushi I've had in Qatar! Just terrible. There is no taste, its packed with rice and just too heavy. Thankfully they had their usual buffet on the side. I dug in. It was fabulous. The Tom yum soup was amazing, the coconut meatballs where delicious. We used our entertainer voucher so we only paid for one but I still felt it was too much due to the bland sushi.

The hotel is very good, like the location and facilities. I have tried the spa, the treatment was very good with the friendly massage therapist. The only thing ruined my experience is the Thai Receptionist who I think is also the Manager of the Spa who is very rude and does not know how to handle guests. She should me demoted from being a manager because she did not deserve that spot. Someone is much better.

The rooms in this intercontinental are large, the bathroom has a handsome size. The view from the floor-deep room window is imposing especially at night. The swimming pool is architecturally great. The hotel is about twenty minutes away from the airport.

Very good value for money. The rooms are super even enter the range. The food is excellent whether it is the buffet or on order. The awesome environment.

A country amazing and wonderful hotel.

We checked in for a few days during our vacation in Doha. We got a suite since we are many in the family. The view from the room is great! You can see the skyline from there. The hotel is also conveniently located next to two malls, so we didn't have problems looking for places to buy goods. Room service was good as well. The waiters were very kind to us. The meals served were plated beautifully. They tasted good as well. The restaurant was also nice. Relaxed ambience, soothing music. There's a wide variety of food to choose from. The staff were nice too! The only problem for me is the Internet connection. It is painfully slow! It takes about 30 seconds to load a single page. It's not a huge deal, but I wasn't able to check my messages and updates online. Overall, I had an enjoyable experience at this hotel. It was a memorable one and I recommend this to anyone wanting to have a place to stay while in Doha. I hope they just fix the issue mentioned above!

Though the spot is nice enough, not extraordinary though—the bar and restaurant at the beach served up soggy sandwiches and old fries with fish that begged the question: is that fish? The ice coffee was like water. Mojito was boring and watered down. Worst of all, everything came in single use plastic cups and plates. Gives a cheap taste and a cheap feel. Unacceptable and unsustainable. This is a five star resort: show some leadership with regards to waste and serve food worth eating. Stop using plastic. 350QR just to get in! Not worth it.

Amazing hotel with the InterContinental high standards. Welcoming staff, nice view of the city, and conveniently located in the center of west bay. Walking distance to a large shopping mall and a supermarket.

Everything about the Intercontinental is fantastic. Right from the location to the services, everything is perfect. The reception was super friendly and checked us in speedily. The room was spacious and the view was something to write home about. They have all the amenities you can ask for and the in room dining was delicious. Our stay was short and we therefore couldn't visit the hotel's many restaurants but we'll definitely be returning again on our next trip.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast at Coral is definitely worth it. The pool is lovely, and just the right temperature. The private beach is a great place to relax and just steps away from the hotel proper. Beds are incredibly comfortable. Definitely a great choice for some much needed R&R.

It's not that bad. Lack of openness. The restaurants are not very frequent.

We love this place. It's like home from home to us when we are all in Qatar. We spent many nights and also many leasure days at this hotel. The food is excellent, service cannot be faulted. The pools and beach are amazing, events we attended are always fun and well organised. We will be back again soon :)

My girlfriend and I went to the Intercontinental to eat at the newly opened Gemmayze Lebanese restaurant. The experience was phenomenal — from the authentic decor to the unbelievably tasty and authentic food to the extremely friendly and professional wait staff. Whether or not you're staying at this hotel (which is beautiful) a visit to this restaurant is absolutely worth your time when in Doha.

The hotel is in a quiet area close to the Kataa district the area is subject to strong modernization the hotel is of a high standard with courteous staff.
There are several restaurants, in all you eat discreetly well though of course not at modest prices.
There is the outdoor pool connected to the beach.
There is a gym and a SPA.
Various services available at the hotel.
The hotel is very busy on weekends, several of the locals inside are very animated with live music till late.

Great hotel to stay at. Good inside and outside. Belgian Cafe is obviously the best pub in Doha because of the terrace. However the service and food beside the pool is not in fitting with the rest of the hotel and needs revamped.

This is a go-to place for budget travellers in Qatar. The rates are not insanely high (like some other hotels in the neighborhood), and the service is quite nice too. If you're planning a trip to Qatar, this is definitely a good hotel to stay in.

This place was amazing! We were on the 38th floor and had a great view of the city. I enjoyed the lounge area on the top floor with more spectacular views and a drinks.

5 stars hotel. Lot of places when we speak about entertainment. Paloma restaurant, with excellent ambience, and great food, and margaritas Live music! Lava is a nice bar too, dj could be better and let us listen during more time each music. I never been on the beach but for what I heard is the best hotel beach in Doha!

This is a very good hotel Had the opportunity to experience their events facilities, catering and restaurant services. Very professional and very friendly. I had inforned them of a Gluten Free lactose free meal and ISE Mo Mainuddin and the Chef were ready and had excellent dishes prepared.

The hotel is surrounded by construction so can be very noisy at all hours from early morning to late evening and even on weekend. It is now Sept 2017 and will take over 2 years to complete noise free. The building itself is OK but…

Very professional and friendly staff. Great restaurants and beautiful pool. Has a gym with a view to the pool area. We stayed at the hotel for our anniversary and were greeted with a little chocolate cake and rose petals in our room, a lovely gesture. Over all it was a very pleasant stay, although overflowing with children during Eid.

Great Leisure area for swimming pool and also the beach. The water in the sea is like a hot bath and yes it is really that hot. Plenty of sunbeds to relax and soak up the sun. Great place to go.

I attended an event in one of the ball rooms in August. It felt like they hadn't even turned on the AC! It was sweltering hot. Maybe it was just a temporary problem, but it extended through the lobby, too.

Visited the coffee shop Jalsa (sheesha shop) on the ground floor, service was good but not friendly, music is louder than norm that you have to raise your voice to be headed, Arabic coffee was served in tea cups half empty! My previous experiences with this place were better in terms of atmosphere and presentation.

Booked 3 rooms. One of them was ready at 8pm, so they gave us late check out. The service was great and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. 24/7 gym and nice swimming pool.

I visited this hotel for its bar. I took a taxi to join a friend. I arrived with jeans and a nice shirt, but they refused to serve me because I had sandals on! They said they're an upscale bar and that's the rules. I looked around and saw people in sporting shoes and t-shirts. That's not very upscale, is it? Fortunately, my friend lived ten minutes away so he went home and brought some sporting shoes that I could wear while I spent my money in their bar.

I found a friendliness in the staff which I liked.

I appreciate all what they did and the way that they let me feel welcome. Whatever I write, whatever I say it can't prove the respect and care am getting from the Intercontinental Doha The City. Nothing can let me stay away from the palace I spend when I have time. My thanks can't prove my happiness. Intercontinental City can serve more than 5 star. Intercontinental city is the star of the world.

World class business hotel. I've stayed for 4 consecutive 3 month stays. Before here I stayed at the Marriott Marquis, Movenpick, and Hilton, and this hotel tops them all. Staff are some of the brightest and friendliest in Doha. Pool is smallish, but fitness center is top notch. Dining options are great, and one of Doha's biggest malls, City Centre, is just a 5 minute walk.

This Hotel is very boring and very bad, impolite and unqualified staff and management, the general manager called Andrea Pfister is so arrogant and does not pay any attention or respect to the hotel guests, food and beverages quality is so poor and dirty, I got poisoned twice because of their food I don't advise anyone to go or stay in this hotel.

Security in Paloma Bar are very rude they do partiality among Asian and European if you are white or if you are black they allow you when its Couples night if you Asian they just show their attitude. My friends been their last Friday and Mr. Mark Security at door allow every single man in front of them and they just stop my friends at the door. Very Rude.

Just went there for a few drinks at the Belgian Café one night and it was really good. Excellent array of beers. Well worth a visit.
