Food at Taj Rasoi is very good. Staff are courteous. Very beautiful ambiance.

Very helpful staff, good restaurants on site, clean room.

Went for a night dip, nice big and deep pool. Lots of lounge chairs too which can accommodate a lot! But the downside, we ordered a burger, it came after 30 minutes! Literally! Only the bottom bun was warm, the rest came normal temp. Could've been a nice experience though.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times I love it the rooms are big you get such an amazing view. Executive lounge is nice… variety of choice in food, the beach area is always very nice and quiet if you want to get away from the crowd at the pool.

The desk attendant was extremely solicitous upon arrival, and gave us a room with a sea view. Everything in the room was in good shape, and we felt comfortable. On the other hand, some aspects of the rooms aren't up to Marriott standards, and the breakfast is outrageously priced.

Shortly be needing an upgrade but very comfortable. The staff are fantastic, very obliging, nothing is too much trouble. They have just upgraded their loyalty programme, well worth booking into the executive levels. How do I know?, just met the General Manager. The physical upgrade is already planned. I'll be back.

The Doha Marriott hotel has been home away from home for me for the last 2 years 4 months whilst working in Doha. The staff here are a credit to your organisation. Every member of staff has always helped me out when needed and worked hard to ensure my stay is enjoyable. I would especially like to thank Jubilee, Charlene and Dipyan in the Executive lounge. Nicolas and Hannah on reception and Thy (? a very happy male from Sri Lanka who attends to bags in red uniform etc). I will miss the Doha Marriott hotel and will always remember my happy times here.

Just another 5 star hotel where everything is too pricey for God knows what. Ate the brunch once and the variety was beyond what one could completely try at a shot. Taste was good. Ambience is reasonable.

A nice hotel area with several restaurants. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is adequate and something for everyone. On one side of the hotel you can see the skyline of Doha. On the other side the highway and construction sites. The rooms are tastefully decorated and clean. The airport is about 12 minutes away by car. In the grounds there is a pool with many free seats / beach chairs and a clean private beach. From me full 5 stars.

I'd like to give it a better rating, but I can't. Very old hotel, rooms and furniture look dated. However, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast too traditional with not much choice of food and doesn't look fresh. Salsa restaurant is average. The Indian restaurant serve nice food but the service wasn't great. Steakhouse restaurant have lovely food and great service. Room service is good. Nice view if you're on the pool side. Had the advantage to get access to the executive lounge as a Marriott gold elite member. It is also close to the airport. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay at Doha Marriott. The staff were so friendly and literally went out of their way to make mine and my daughter's stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The pool and spa are gorgeous and the private beach is quite large and offers beautiful views of the city and crystal clear, bath-warm waters. Love Marriott hotels!

Good ambience. Nice place to have few drinks. Good offers on happy hours. Having drinks on poolside is fun.

I have stayed at the Doha Marriott several times on business. Close to the airport and easy access to the downtown area. I always ask for a high floor to enjoy the view of the water and fishing dock area. Excellent restaurant choices. Just keep in mind Qatar has a zero tolerance policy for consumption of alcoholic beverages in public areas other than restaurants or lounges. If you decide to visit museums or other attractions never drink and drive. Leave your rental at the hotel and take a limousine or taxi.

I booked a room in this hotel for my parents. After research I found it the cheapest hotel by the beach in Doha. Really affordable 5* condition hotel. The area is quiet and close to airport. And the view is stunning as u can see in the picture I posted. I would definetly reccomend it to everyone who wants to visit Doha and live on high standards at affordable price enjoying the beach as well.

Very old hotel, aging and not up to the new standards and new hotels in doha. If you wanna stay around the airport I recommend going somewhere else. I won't return until the hotel is revamped. Steak house is excellent though.

Marriott Doha is one of the legendary hotels in the city. This hotel is a palace like construction with the best lobbies I have ever seen. The hotel has a great beach access and fantastic see view in most of the rooms. The restaurants on the ground floor offers great weekend brunch with unimaginable variety of dishes. Located in an highly accessible location, Marriott is a good 5star option in Doha.

Very large hotel and overall well cared for but away from our 5 star concept. Especially for the service, in fact the staff is courteous but very careless. Room at 7pm still not redone, dirty cutlery at the table prepared for us, room set up x only one guest and date as double… so much for a 5 star. But cmq the price of the room is fine, not more than 120 euros.

We have been staying in this hotel 3 days fantastic, very good attention, restaurants and good view of the city of Doha.

Nice Hotel, conveniently positioned between the airport and the Cornish (Arabic for Beach). I found this place to be a little old but still has a nice ambiance. Some other hotels in Doha can feel a little impersonal. Nice food and nice executive club. Dinner at 5:30-8:30pm Happy hour starting at 6:30pm Deserts from 7:30-9:30 pm Nice pool, beach and tennis courts x2

Easy to access from Airport and located within walking distance from Souk's, shopping districts and amenities. Great choice of food in restaurant and would return again and service was superb!

Quite overrated spot. The hub plays loud Indian music. Gate fee is exaggerated and they totally have nothing good or new to offer for the growing entertainment in doha.

Needs updating. The room we had looked over to Doha. So great views the pool area is nice. Service was fine. If you need a place close to the airport I would recommend, however, it is not exactly current in decor.

Doha Marriott, well maintained pool and beach area… Gives wonderful sea view Rooms are very nicely maintained. Offer wonderful indian cuisine… Very helping staff. Have wonderful lobby, but don't like it's smoking area… Which always gives me : (

Large hotel with great room view. Gym is very large and you have various restaurants selection at hotel. The lounge is top notch. Staff from check-in to check out treat you professionally while making you feel welcome. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to smoking being allowed in lobby. The odd part to go to the gym you have to pass through the smoking lobby. Marriott needs to eliminate this & turn the lobby into clean inviting atmosphere. Pictures are view from my room.

One of the oldest Hotels and finest in Doha, their location is great for viewing the Doha skyline. As well as the sunset view. A huge pool and beach access that is ideal during summer and great parties. Amazing selection of food and restaurant. Great ambiance and rooms as well as excellent room service.

We had a great time during our 2-night stay. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. However the pillows are uncomfortable (so flat) and room services are sometimes delayed. Also, we made a reservation for a sea-view room but we ended up in a city view room. And for my child's breakfast, they charged ne the full amount on my credit card but my receipt shows that it was discounted for 33%. The amenities are okay but there's no sauna for ladies : (and the tiles in the spa room are slippery. Lastly, our bathroom's shower was not working well, looks like a cheap shower, not fit in a 5 star hotel. This is our second visit in the hotel but hopefully there will be some improvements on our next visit.

Loved my stay here, the room was large and well appointed. Dinner in the executive lounge is nice and you are offered two drinks per night. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The pool area is very comfortable and they offer hookah. Check-in was easy.

I was very disappointed at the level of service in Marriott, especially the Cornice Restaurant. We were assigned reserved seats for a buffet, when we got back to our table the table was taken. As we brought it up to the waitress and the supervisor, we were asked did you guy register and reserve? While holding on to our food we had to wait to be seated. Second time while we were getting good the same waitress came to us and asked us, are you guys done or still sitting there? Horrible customer sevice for a 240 qar buffet.

Palace affordable, easy to access, top staff.

Perfect for a good stay.

To start with the positive things the location was very good especially it is close to the airport. We booked a standard room and it was really big and roomy with even a seating sofa in it and plenty of cupboards. We were allowed to check out late at 2:00 pm with no extra charge. The free parking was a plus. On the negative side and as a five star hotel you expect excellent service not asking every now and then for things. For example the toiletries in the bathroom were just for one person although we booked for two. There were no bath robes as mentioned in the website, They brought them later. We wanted to use the swimming pool and since it was Friday it was very busy that we couldn't find a place to sit. Most of the people using the swimming pool were not even staying at the hotel but people coming just for the day. I think that the hotel should at least reserve few places for it's customers. Moreover the swimming pool was packed with young children who were allowed to swim and jump in the deep area making it impossible to enjoy a swim and the beach is rocky so couldn't even swim there. The breakfast buffet had good varieties but it was not tasty at all. The omelette we ordered lacked salt while the sausages were salty. Service was not up to a 5* standard. Did not enjoy my stay at all.

A place with limitations no matter whenever I visit. This after nearly 6 different visits in 6 different circumstances and 6 different times of the day … some places do need a lot more than just being open for business!

Conveniently located, good environment, quite old rooms (needs refurbishment). Good restaurants and bar.

Stayed a week and experienced excellent service from an abundance of staff. (From India, Kenya, Ukraine, etc) Parts of facility are under renovation early Feb 2015. Temperatures were cool so did not use heated pool. At this time no other hotel is closer to the new airport; traffic delay is an issue if you stay downtown or at Pearl area. Amazing weekend (Fri-Sat) brunch with over 20 stations ranging from fresh fish and meat to many ethnic alternatives. Gluten free bread but no pasta. Two negatives: no safe walking path to the Islamic Art center; Smog taints the view of downtown and often obliterates the view of the Pearl area across the bay.

I been to a lot of hotels around the world. Coz I'm a pilot. This is the only expensive hotel that doest offer free Wi-Fi. The free Internet at the lobby is freaking slow that even viber cannot connect.

An awesome place,,,,, was there with my boss n I learnt alot.

Great hotel closest to the airport.

Brunch the best we have had in Doha, WJ's Steakhouse and Salsa Restaurant fantastic. Service excellent. Managers and staff attentive and on the ball. We were particularly impressed with the Terrace Manager Maka, who appeared to be very focused, paying attention to detail yet has time to communicate with customers whilst interacting with a very good staff. Well done the Marriott.
