Best place to stay in all of Puerto Rico. We stayed here for three days then left to go stay on the Beach. Big mistake. The Sheridan has the coffee makers in the rooms. Which to me is a big thing. I need my coffee. The place we went to didn’t have coffee or any of the other amenities the Sheridan has. If I ever return to PR. I will definitely come here to the Sheridan. And he breakfast is outstanding. If they say two eggs. You’re really getting four. Thumbs up to his place.

Just now on  Google We had a late night flight and arrived at the hotel with mutiple luggage and the man up front just stood there for a while looking at us. When I noticed he wasn't planning on providing any service, I asked him if there was a luggage cart available. He brought a luggage cart that was very difficult to maneuver. After I put all the heavy luggage on the cart on my own and was struggling to push a very heavy cart into the elevator; both, the man and the guy at the front desk, were cheering me on, like it was an amusing show. Never, not even out of courtesy, did they offer to assist me or my 7 y/o daughter. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced in a hotel. Not only do they not know the meaning of customer service, it was a very humiliating experience and physically painful. When my husband returned from parking our vehicle, which is another issue altogether, and asked them about the ordeal, they said they didn't provide assistance due to COVID. The entire experience was very bizarre and surreal. This is an embarrassment to hospitality. My suggestion: skip this hotel altogether. The price and service aren't worth the trouble.

I don't recommend them at all! We had breakfast for two days at the hotel and the two days we paid cash to the waiter who attended us. Three days after checking out I received a charge to my hotel credit card and when I contacted I was told that I was being charged for breakfast, I explained that the waiter had been paid in cash and told me that if I didn't have the receipt I couldn't do anything, obviously NO ONE keeps a receipt from a restaurant which was already paid days ago. The hotel is supposed to keep track of what was paid or what is not, the better the waiter needed the money… EYE very careful when paying in that place, always wait for the receipt and keep it for at least two weeks.

Mrs Carmen Santiago at reception was very rude and unprofessional. Really dissapointed. The last time we visit on christmas me and my family really enjoy excellent attention and service all weekend. Today the first impression was awful.

Rooms are no better than a three star hotel, we booked bay view and got a building view, and when we got here after booking on Hotels. Com we were charged tax again plus a $65 resort fee per room we could not use because they would not accommodate a late checkout. We notified the front deck and no resolution or care about it at all. See pictures on Hotel. Com reservation that said “bay view” and pics of our view.

Stayed at the Sheraton Old San Juan on 07/15/2018 in the governor's suite. The view of the bay was nice. Half of the suite had a city view and one quarter had a view of the parking building behind the hotel. The suite had all the amenities imaginable. The room service staff was fast and polite. The hotel restaurant might be a bit overpriced (but again its a hotel) but the food was good and tasty. The check-in process was uneventful and the front desk staff was professional, polite, and friendly. Hotel decoration was a bit dated but The entire island has been through two major hurricanes. I'm sure this property will get a refresh pretty quickly.

Great atmosphere for tourism perfect location to shop and enjoy the uniqueness of Old San Juan Puerto Rico. Hotel is not up to date needs to be modernized everything old and outdated. Front desk staff very polite excellent service. Restaurant staff extremely professional provided excellent customer service. The view is excellent to see the ships come into the port and dock.

A good hotel with good chamber service through the day. Just be aware that the ohter hotel residents tend to be noisy, so don't consider this as a romantic it relaxing escape. Nice overview of the bay and cruise ships and within blocks of tourist streets and more interesting streets if interested. Else, the corner is not attractive: all tourists off the ships, cheap stores along, some homeless nearby. Pay attention to parking options.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us as we were leaving on a cruise the next day. The area in which the hotel is located is very convenient to many restaurants and there is a Walgreens right around the corner. We took the opportunity during our brief stay to walk around and sight see. A very beautiful place to visit and very clean.

We use a "Gustazo" to "taste" this hotel. Worth every penny. Centered in front of the Old San Juan ports is the perfect location for doing tourism by foot. You can go anywhere in the Old San Juan by foot. The Hotel was nice and clean and the service was good. We are certainly going back next summer. Do ask about parking options…

Staying was nice. The amount of money and the treatment at the counter was awful. I received a dirty room with a broken TV for almost all the stay. They give me $26 for the inconvenience. I was charge beside $100 for incidentals which is reasonable $50 for a valet parking in addition to already payed parking at the moment ($57). Sheraton charge $50 a day for services. Or such I was told when they themselves can’t explain it. I try to understand the not communicated fees but then I got home and received my $150 back. So, I stayed quiet but now I need to talk. The bank just called me and tells me a suspicious amount of money have been taken from the Sheraton after my stayed. An additional $100. I have the alerts that I am already out from PR. The Sheraton manager have no kindness and told me that is my problem and not theirs. To call the account department and there was no whatsoever desire to help. I was told by somebody in the States that people don’t want to help Puerto Rico back with tourism staying at the Sheraton because all this expensive and bank account suspicious things happen. Well done Sheraton. Keep scaring away your own and sending them to spend vacations at the Dominican Republic. Only welcoming non natives at the Sheraton. Sorry but sound as bad as I was told. See if the 4-5 stars reviews are from any Puerto Rican who out of job here left and was coming back to support the island with tourism and see if was treated like this.

It is a beautiful area to stay in but PR hasn't recovered in enough to justify the price per night. Nightlife is fun, but there still isn't a lot to do. There is good food around the hotel though. The hotel. Itself is very nice and the beds are comfortable. I would stay here again, but not for a while.

The location of this hotel is great. We had a suite on the 3rd floor and the view on the harbor side is good. It’s great to jog around the harbor around sunset. The room is large but the decor was dated. The breakfast was not special and the cantaloupe was even rotten, which surprised us. The service is good but generally speaking we think the room rate is too high.

Location is great, hotel is very clean and the views are really nice. Bit disappointed that the room did not have a mini fridge. Even a small one for keeping a couple bottles of water or leftovers cold. Bed was comfortable. The hotel itself is close to everything in old San Juan. This was a the last day of our trip and we had not seen anything around old San Juan so it was perfect for a night.

The service is excellent, the food is rich, but the hotel looks like old. I don't like that. The rooms are super spacious. The food well. The pleasant rooms and different sizes. 'd be back.

The rooms were really cool and nice and you're also 2-3 blocks from the beach! Other than being close to the beach it's not the best location for anything night life at all but it is right next to a few good restaurants and Starbucks! The breakfast was really good as well! Loved everything but the lack of nightlife being close!

Excellent service… The Bellman was very helpful in telling us where to go… We got of the Celebrity Cruise lines Silhouette… and needed to know where a, specific store was… He was very thankful for being hired when the hotel he worked at was destroyed by the devastation of the storms… Sad that Trump hasn't helped our brothers and sisters on Puerto Rico they're still places that have not gotten power 5 to 6 months after the storms…

I can't possibly say enough good things about the location of the hotel, the cleanliness and most importantly the staff… always smiling, willing to help to the point of bending over backwards and going out of their way to make sure we were having a pleasant time and offering suggestions on places to visit. THANK YOU TO AMANDA, WANDA, JOSEPH and a few others I'm leaving out! I had a truly memorable time at the hotel and in beautiful Puerto Rico.

Can I give this hotel more than five stars? We got married in Old San Juan 2 weeks ago and we and our other family members stayed at the Old San Juan Sheraton. From the moment we arrived we received such incredible service, and all the staff members were so happy for us as we were preparing for the wedding. They went above and beyond for us. They even left a nice surprise from the staff for the newlyweds in our room. We couldn't thank them enough. Amber, Amanda, Angel, Joseph, Jonathan, Shelly and Wanda, we cannot wait to come back and stay with you again! The location is absolutely perfect and is in walking distance of everything in Old San Juan. If you need a cab they grab one for you in less than 5 minutes, however if you just want to be in Old San Juan you probably won't need a taxi. Everything is walkable. Their second floor Terrace and restaurant is lovely too and they have excellent prices for their happy hour. We also really enjoyed the rooftop pool. The views of the Cruise Ships coming in we're really great. Again I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff really knows how to treat their guests.

5-Star Hotel in the Convention Centre area near the county Ashford Ave, the Hilton Caribbean and old San Juan. It has Casino and several restaurants inside the hotel. Excellent service at all times and is also available for convention groups or tourist. Enjoy your stay.

Lovely staff. Everyone is the town is so kind. Except for the girls at the Walgreens. They were not very nice.

Our room was beautiful! The king bed so comfortable. Roof deck pool and hot tub. Close to shopping.

Friendly staff in nice Old San Juan location but rooms and facilities are showing their age. No direct beach access for anyone looking to relax in the sand. Off-site validated parking across the street is reasonably priced. If you're looking for somewhere to sleep and score a good rate this is a nice choice, but if you're expecting more of a resort experience check out the nearby Condado and Isla Verde areas.

Booked reservations for this hotel in March 2017 for a stay in early January 2018. Our reservations were canceled by hotel as they said they would be closed when we arrived because of the hurricane damages. But once we arrived in San Juan we noticed that it was open, so we walked in off the street and asked if we would be able to get a room. To our surprise they offered us rooms but at a hugely inflated rate than the one we had reserved. And once we explained what they had done to us, The people at the front desk would not honour our previous bookings. This kind of business practice is unethical and deplorable. While we usually like Sheraton Hotels when travelling, I will do my best to avoid them in the future travelling, because of this business practice.

The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed for a quick overnight stay. Live music downstairs was great!

Very good hotel, very cozy, elegant and best of all is that it is in the same old San Juan. Where you find everything to have fun when you want to give a getaway. The price is a little high but worth it for the location of the place.

Excellent place, very picturesque, very organized and safe, there are quite a few shopping and dining places, within walking distance this is Castillo San Cristobal which is beautiful and several sites of interest. Recommended all part of Old San Juan.

The name Sheraton has always resembled an above par dwelling. Sadly, this particular one does not possess the "wow" effect; nor the "Great! " factor as well. The front desk resembles that of a Motel 6 environment, the pool seems like a 4ft puddle, and the rooms lack any sense of style or decor. The AC in the room did not cool down past 72 degrees. When a fan was requested from the front desk, they had no idea on where to retrieve it from; even though it is listed as a request able amenity. Last night, I called for room service (which the hotel "states" they offer) ; however, they sadly said that it was not available this day. In the morning, I called for room-service again, the gentleman who answered was rude and continued to hang up on me. Being in a premium touristic area, such as Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, one would expect a little more from the name "Sheraton". This visit was a complete disappointment and regretfully a negative appeal to the Sheraton hotel.

Staff is phenomenal Jacuzzi on roof swimming pool. Fast Wi-Fi.

My favorite place of vacations I walk the streets of Old San Juan trankila many different places to visit like restaurant, artisans tourist sites, pub, in short the Sheraton excellent.

Booked for a one night stay 11/10 & 11/18) prior to leaving on a 7 day cruise months prior, got to the hotel to find out they cancelled our reservation (said some bs about they had to because of the hurricane) and now they want us to pay $260.00 plus, we originally booked the room for $160.00 plus. Because we never received an email or phone call, they gave us the room for $209.00; we would have to pay the $269.00 the Saturday when we return back from the cruise. Stayed here before and love it, but not sure if I’ll ever stay here again.

The Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel and it's "Terasa" dinning space are in a perfect spot. There are some issues that were unsatisfactory when considering the status of the hotel among hotels. Although the staff are very professional their attire seem very informal; almost as those of a fast food joint. The drinks are extremely expensive, and although the food was well prepared, bland in taste and their meat lacked an accompany broth that would have perfected the presentation and taste. Finally, I am of the school that organizations should incorporate cultural essence in ambiance, such as in music and food; an attempt in food was made however in ambiance absent. Doing such behaviors in business is always profitable. I would say that the operation requires a well experienced organizational behaviorist well versed in food service. I'm available. :)

What a bunch of heartless folks! Booked for 10/8/17 and tried to cancel due to hurricane. 80% of island has no power, 91% has no cell service, cruise port is closed folks have no water (Drinking Rain Water) and they won't cancel my reservation! Heartless and thoughtless greedy, money grubbing folks! Its my understanding that they are the only hotel on the island that refuses to do what is right and issue refunds. I now know all I need to know about this hotel and I stay in the street before I booked with them. Hopefully they will give my room to someone in need but my bet is they will just charge a volunteer for it and double their money!

I made a reservation on April 11, 2017 for the Lolas Challenge Weekend, and to my surprise the night I arrived on September 15, 2017, having made my first race on Friday and crazy to bathe and get to bed, it turns out that I had been canceled the reservation, without notification. I received an email with confirmation and when I arrived I had no reservation and the hotel was full. To top it all off, no employee gestured to help us, they just told us: that reservation is canceled and they looked at us with faces of q I can't do anything. Someone didn't do their job the way it should be and we paid the consequences, but you know what? I will never recommend the hotel or the chain to anyone, on the contrary, I will tell my bad experience with you. But nothing happens for no reason, a friend recommended the Casablanca Hotel on Calle Fortaleza, a real hotel in Old San Juan, we were welcomed and here we are in a room as I wanted it, so to the Sheraton Old San Juan, thank you for nothing.

Location in Old San Juan is great! Friendly staff and great SPG Platinum recognition with free breakfast buffet and upgrade to Suite! Excellent option for pre or post cruise. Uber was only $5.50 to pier! Rooftop pool is nice but a little small. We will be back!

Perfect experience. Stayed here for 6 nights and not a single complaint. Everything was great. I love how house keeping is working at all hours. I'd leave the room at 6am other days late like 2pm and would always return to a clean room! The breakfast is very delicious as well! I love the on site hertz, extremely convenient. And most activities we paid for pick up at this hotel.

The location is great! Watching the ferry and seeing our cruise ship across the bay was wonderful. You can walk all over Old Town and the forts. Great pre cruise location. Hotel is nice.

We didn't stay here but we looked at it after getting g dinner nearby. From what we saw, it looks quite beautiful! We love the place we stayed though, so we probably won't be staying here.

I had a great time here, I really did. But the tiny lobby and unprofessional desk service are unforgivable, which is why I'm only giving 3 stars. The lobby is always congested. And the one desk on the first floor is guest services, check-in, information desk, and (maybe) as a result aren't very friendly or eager to offer suggestions or assistance during ur stay. The room (standard) is very nice, I wasn't a at all disappointed. Sheets and towels smell beautiful, bed very comfortable. No weird smells in the hotel like at the older hotels in San Juan. Bathroom big. Wifi slow. Mini Coffee maker in room w free coffee, super exciting. Very nice rooftop pool and hot tub.

The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. It is right in the middle of old San Juan. The staff was very nice. We even checked out but we wanted to go get something to eat so Angel asked if we needed to store our luggage (at no charge) until we were done eating. That was so above and beyond! Angel gave us a ticket for our luggage and just said bring it back to him when we are ready to go. We went and ate and shopped a little. When we came back they retrieved our luggage and got us a cab. The roof top pool is also very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and would defiantly recommend staying here.

This was a pre-cruise stay. Best decision to pay a bit extra for hotel and be able to walk literally across the street to your cruise! Way more convenient Hotel was quite nice and there were lots of shops around.

My husband booked our trip to Old San Juan and our stay at the Sheraton Old San Juan hotel to celebrate my 60th Birthday, we booked our vacation the 22nd of February of this year 2016. Excited by the amenities promised on the Sheraton Old San Juan's web page, delights of a Casino, a Spa, and Out door patio seating street level were promised. Much to our disappointment upon our arrival to find nun of these. We asked where they were at the front desk and were told they had closed them in September of the previous year 2015. We mentioned the web sight had not been updated to reflect this, their response was less then apologetic. Needless to say it set the tone for our whole visit. The room was adequate, although one of the days they never even cleaned the room or provided us with clean towels. Yes it was centrally located, but most of the surrounding businesses were closed. I guess I would sum it up as false advertising.

Excellent hotel, wonderful service from the whole staff, especially Gladys who is perhaps the kindest person I've ever met. Thank you for all your help freely given upon my very unpleasant arrival moments. The hotel is clean, perfectly situated near the water at the base of the hill in Old Town. The breakfast was great and there are helpful people in the hotel who are willing to go out of their way to answer questions and find solutions.

A hot mess! Checked in on Friday, room was for handicap… no tub & room was really small! Called the front desk & was told that's what was chosen when the room was booked. Told them okay that must have been a mistake & we wanted to move to a regular room. Front desk said we could move Saturday… didn't happen until Sunday. Room even smaller… no chair to sit in, but we had a regular bathroom. A bunch of foolishness from the front desk. Four people staying in the room & we could not get four of anything brought to the room (towels, water, etc). Bottled water was suppose to be free, but the last day, the front desk said it's only two free bottles per day! One of my girlfriend's jewelry even came up missing! On the other hand… Monica, Jon & the entire Bell hop (door staff) were excellent! Breakfast buffet was great as well. Will not spend our money here again.

Our hotel. The stairs were decorated beautifully as we were there for Christmas. The restaurant kept messing up our order for dessert one night. The buffet int he morning is really good though. It is right across from the pier so you can walk out and view the water. The staff was helpful in getting taxis as well.

All the reviews for this hotel, I have read are 2 stars, I can't really agree with everything they said. This hotel is pretty nice. They have a casino downstairs close to the check-in area. The employees were wonderful and helpful. The rooms were not spectacular but it had everything I need to get a great night of sleep. The bed was nice and firm, that helped me sleep wonderfully. The view of the water is awesome, especially when the big cruise ships are docked there. Your also in walking distance of Old San Juan.

DO NOT STAY HERE! My husband and I are currently here for two nights, as part of our honeymoon. We booked our stay about 4 months ago. When we arrived yesterday, we discovered the large casino (part of the reason we chose this hotel) was torn out two months prior. The hotel did not notify us of this change. The entire first floor of the hotel is under construction. Several other guests at check in were also shocked to hear the news-this is supposed to be a casino hotel (according to their website and our reservation) — false advertisement… they don't even plan to put another casino in; it was completely taken out. Additionally, we are laying here in bed awake due to the VERY LOUD CONSTRUCTION SOUNDS BELOW US. It is terrible to wake up to early buzzing, vibrating, and banging, which will continue ALL DAY, and will wake us up early again tomorrow. Furthermore, our room is dingy, smells of mildew (I have asthma and allergies and am suffering in my breathing as a result of being here-taking three medications and my lungs are still struggling). We are 31 and 29 yr old, from Florida and expected much more from this hotel. We expected a decent window, a luxury suite, peaceful wake up, casino for my husband, and decent food/coffee. We ordered coffees in their coffee shop, but we threw them out and instead went to a different coffee shop because they were not good. We peeked into the restaurant, but the menu, food, and atmosphere left much to be desired.

Very convenient location! The hotel is old but clean and nice. The pool is not big but it is okay and it's on the roof so you can see the sky.

We stayed here for an extra night after our cruise docked. Pretty good value. Right near all the touristy shopping places and historic landmarks. Small pool and hot tub on the roof with good views. The room was large and clean along with the bathroom. Dont get a room near the elevator though you can hear it well while in the room. Overall I would stay there again if in the area. Staff was helpful also and took our luggage early before we checked in.

The hotel is located at the heart of Old San Juan. The view of the San Juan bay is lovely. Old San Juan is an awesome area, always buzzing with people. There is a lot to do in this area, however it might be pricy! As a downside, I was there last Christmas with a coupon, which included valet parking. Six months afterwards, I was mailed a parking citation for apparently parking in a private spot. How could I have parked the car in a private spot if I had the car in the Hotel's valet parking? Who removed the citation from the car before returning it to me? Why didn't the hotel staff notify me of the situation? I contacted the hotel and they were unwilling to help. They pointed me to the parking lot, which are in turn pointing me back to them. This was a really disappointing experience, I wish I had never had to deal with this. Now I am stuck having to pay for a citation for a violation I did not make. Very frustrating and infuriating.

The front desk people were too busy texting rather than helping me check in. The casino the drinks took over 20 minutes to get to me I asked three different waiters for drinks and they and it took forever to reach me, I asked for a turkey sandwich they brought it in a hot dog bun. At the end of the night they cut me off from alcohol and when I asked the manager he said I've had too many I told him I've been playing for three hours and the drinks take way too long so as soon as I get one I'm ordering another I was sober the in tire night but they treated my like I was drunk I did the same thing at La Concha and never had any issues with them. I was going to play black jack the next day with whatever chips I had left but I decided to cash in and gamble in a different casino. I paid almost $300 for my stay and my room didn't even have a microwave or fridge. I will never stay in this hotel again.

The place was great. The location was great. Service was good. I would give it a 5 stars, but they hit you with a hidden fee at the end. They call it a "Hotel Service Fee" at a rate of $13.86 per day. Its the fee for using their internet, pool, workout gym, and in room coffee. Everything was enjoying except the hidden fee's they stick you with at the end.

Great hotel, great staff and great location. Seconds away from many restaurants, bars and shops. We stayed in the junior suite which was perfect (amazing view). Pool area and fitness room was a bit small but very enjoyable and good enough for a quick workout.

Great location in Old San Juan, perfect for before or after your cruise. Rooms are clean and comfortable, rooftop pool is great.

I stayed here a few days ago for a week, and the location is great. Everything you want to do at night is in walking distance. However, the rest of the hotel is lacking. My bed felt like it was very old. The middle was sagging, and each morning, I woke up with an incredibly tight back. Also, we were at the corner of the building, so Wi-Fi didn't reach our room. Also, the hotel seems to hide all of the power outlets, so finding a place to charge anything meant I needed to move furniture around.

It is a place marabilloso and is very luxurious only q has a casino and I could not enter for my children and know how they are children.

It is very good. In the service.
