Stayed here for about 5 days before our cruise and absolutely loved it. The beach is a couple steps away from the front lobby. They even provide you with beach towels. They are under new ownership and will be starting to renovate the hotel some, but I was very happy with what they offered the way it is. The staff was very friendly and helped us with things to do and places to see. Being our first time in Puerto Rico we were overwhelmed with how much PR has to offer but they helped narrow that down. I will definitely be coming back and staying here during our future vacations/getaways. Thank you very much to all the staff that was there during our stay! You all made our days here very comfortable and enjoyable!

“Your room is all paid for! ” Nope. I booked a room, paid in full, but the staff said I need to pay them another $31 in cash for the room when I got there. They told me my email should have mentioned it, but it didn’t. Then the guy didn’t give me enough change when I gave him 2 $20 bills. These guys are trying to rip you off. Avoid this hotel. “Sir, I’m not in the mood to argue. ” Too bad? I’m not in the mood for you to rip me off.

We were there 4/22-4/26. For my boyfriend's birthday. The staff was great, friendly and very helpful. Since we hadn't been there before they told us all the wonderful places to visit. The hotel was clean and our room was serviced everyday. I read all the reviews and they where bad but I would have to disagree. It sits right on the beach, lots of places to eat within walking distance and there is even a casino down the street. It's about 15 minutes away from the pear, old San Juan Puerto Rico, old castles and museums and airport. The staff always called a cab for us in which they appeared in less then 10 minutes. The only thing that I didn't like was the elevator lol. The room was on the small side but really didn't mattered because we were not in it until we were ready to sleep. All in all if your interested in Location Location Location it definitely meets all your needs. I definitely will return. Had a wonderful time. ❤

Poor customer service. Very strict rules about visitors, not very clean… it's a pity because they have an awesome location. They will charge you an additional fee when you get there that you wouldn't know about until you arrive. They are not flexible with checkout times and not 420 friendly at all.

The elevator's a mess. The rest very well.

Horrible experience! This place is still in business solely due to its location. Elevator is a death trap, looks like a medieval contraption. I like old world charm but that thing is dangerous — doors opened and nothing was there. There was a mixup in the reservation arrived late for check in, says we "kindly" give 24 hours they hadn't passed yet but reservation was cancelled according to clerk. He "fixed" it but they still charged the missed day plus additional miscellaneous surprise fees that only accept cash. Wouldn't go back or recommend at all. Not worth the price.

Incrediblely close to the beach, nice staff, comfy bed, restaurants, casino and bars a short walk away!

The most comfortable bed you will ever sleep in and you can wakeup and go straight to the beach. It is very affordable at the right times. You do have to pay an energy/resort fee upon arrival, which is standard for most beach front hotels, but it is still the best beach front hotel for the price. The rooms are always clean, and if you have any problems, the front desk is very accommodating. Also, there is cheap $10 parking right across the street from the hotel, and it is for 24 hours from purchase.

The worst attention. To me it seems high cost for poor service.

It is a hotel that needs remodeling small rooms lack safe beds very comfortable well located but if high cost for what this offers.

Stayed there when I first got here. The only good thing I can say is its on the beach… did I mention its on the beach?

When my husband and I arrived, the guest services attendant was very nice and accommodating. However, we were not pleased with the outdated rooms with the non working television. When we brought this to guest services attention, he then told us, due to the hurricane, the televisions were not working. This information should be listed on the websites and discounted!

The worst Hotel ever. Do not stay there. Nothing to offer. If you have to pay more than 10 USD per night, you are over bill.

Stayed here last year and loved it! The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but we didn't use the room except to sleep anyway. They do have a cash deposit that is returned given there are no damages to your room. They are right on the beach and it is beautiful! If you find yourself high maintenance, this is not the hotel for you!

If I could give negative stars I would. After 2 weeks working as a volunteer medical relief worker post hurricane Maria I booked this hotel prior to my departure home. The heavy set Caucasian male sitting at the desk verbally assaulted me when I asked him to let me finish what I was saying. I am an African American female and this man told me I need to learn some respect and proceeded to say he would only speak to my friends who were Caucasian. I just left our relief site, I was still in the same scrubs I was wearing for the last two days. I left the hotel refusing to stay because I didn’t feel safe. The price was outrageous and opportunistic of the situation. There were no other available hotels in the area.

Very close proximity to the beach. Room was small and also the restroom. And for some reason the restroom didn't even have a door knob or lock. Just a door. Also when I was checking in, thier was an additional surcharge that was not part of the final payment from the online booking. And it had to be cash.

Worse hotel ever. The guy in fron desk is very rude. No elevator and the gave me a 4th floor. So I invite a friend to my room and the fron desk guy throw him out not in a good way and say he going to call the police. Bad experince dont recomend this hotel guys.

The hotel is extremely old, if you can spend a couple more dollars I advise you get another hotel. Furniture is extremely old. The have to step out of the hotel and then walk to the beach. Tv and Wi-Fi did not work. You can hear everyone in every room around you. This place is not super clean … there is one cleaning lady for the whole building. No shampoo or conditioner available. Towels are extremely old. They have fines for everything you can think of. Parking is 15 dollars a day. The elevator is about to break down.

The reason why I Put one star is that because there is no zero star. They charged us 17.75/day extra. Its called resort fees. Please tell me that where is the resort? The front desk guy changed the way of saying when we poined that. He said its electricity fee… Omg. Do you think all customers are stupid? Which hotel charges electricity fees? Stay away from here. The customer service needs more trainning class. This is the worse front desk I Have ever seen since we start trips.

The room was small, but clean. The staff was very welcoming on all shifts. Location was EXCELLENT! Great access to everything within walking distance. Overall experience has been great! I am already planning my next visit!

Simple hotel but Amazing location. Consider your priorities before booking. If your looking for a lot of amenities like food and beach services choose another. If you rather have a not expensive hotel with an amazing location u got it.

Near the beach is the only plus! ;) The rest is bad! : (Elevator buzzing — sleep does not provide the Internet works only at the reception, the rooms are small, the beds are small, interior doors, all you can hear is the side, top, bottom. Staff not friendly except for one guy. Repair old. 79-discount Paid this money is clearly not worth it.

Great price for beach front hotel! I think the hotel was going through renovations, but I don't think the rooms were that bad like some other people thought. I found the staff attentive and polite. They pay attention to who from their hotel and who isn't, and they make sure none of their guests get harassed by people walking by. The food is also yummy. It's in a fairly good location off one of the main roads and it's easy to navigate around and catch a cab from there. It wasn't the flashiest place, but it was cleaned daily and it was VERY affordable. I miss it there.

Horrible! lack of service, lots of tricks with your money, broken windows, ac comes from hall way true a small window, if ask for extra towel they charge you 10 dollores yes DOLORES, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE, DIRTY BED SHEETS, bedroom door with gap of 5 inches on bottom, look if u want to go n sleep n u don't be bother by noise excellent but, if the ratings had a negative star ill give this nasty place a 100 negative stars, I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN, NASTY DIRTY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFFS, AND VERY PRICY, THAT HOTEL IS NOT THE CARIBE HILTON TO CHARGE THEM CRAZY PRICES, GO TO COMBATE IN CABO ROJO PR, THERE ARE THE BEST, THANK U ATLANTIC HOTEL FOR SHOWING ME HOW BAD UR BUSINESS ARE, 2014.

This hotel gets 2 stars only because of its location right on the beach. Everything else needs work. My girlfriend and I stayed here for our vacation in late April for 5 days, and we chose this hotel because of its location and the simple fact that we felt we didn't need the glitz of nearby hotels because we really only needed somewhere to sleep. The majority of our time was going to be spent outside the hotel, whether on a nearby beach or exploring the rest of the island. Keeping that in mind, its location on the water coupled with its price made the relatively small rooms easier to deal with. Even with knowing this hotel's purpose was just to sleep, we had a pretty bad experience due to a complete lack of customer service. Check-in is apparently at 3pm, which I wasn't told before, and they absolutely refuse to accommodate you even if there is an available room before that time. In addition, they offer you tags to put on your bag while you wait for a room to become available, but you must leave the bags in the main lobby around the corner from the desk, where no one from the front desk can see them. It was unacceptable that they didn't at least have a small room to keep bags with such a late check-in. They will also tell you the hotel isn't responsible for your bags if they're stolen from the middle of their lobby, so that wasn't an option for us.

I did not stay at this hotel but I did eat here twice. On the outside the hotel looks old and not that nice and it is very small. But inside the restaurant and lobby it looks like it has been renovated recently. We were skeptical to eat here but it was rich on the beach with great views of the ocean and you can walk right down to the beach. The food was EXCELLENT! I ordered the quesadillas and actually ordered a 2nd one. We ordered desert too which was very very good. Service was better than everywhere else we ate in San Juan. We came back for breakfast, which was good but not as good as dinner. I don't know if I would stay here but I highly recommend coming here for a cheap but excellent meal by the beach.

This is one of the best meals I have had in PR it was worth the wait. I love fish but fish with green bananas, plantain, and creamy yuca. This meal pleased my taste buds. The service was slow, but when a place is busy as this having a nice bartender like Doris make the time go by quickly. The top floor was rented out on a Tuesday night. The decor is chic open patio with tables. Make a reservation or sit at the bar you may have a great conversation with beautiful ladies from PR Cuba Australia or England. But even if you don't tell Doris I sent you.

I'll start with the good. This location and cuisine (food and workers). The rest of course is bad. People at the reception did not differ friendliness. Small rooms, televisions, furniture, sanitary ware. Service times of the Soviet Union (good workers, rather than having a rest). The cardboard doors and walls is heard all around.
