Selva Boutique Hotel

Came here with a partner for one night. Rooms were spotless and comfy with a cute balcony. Comforting ocean breeze and sounds throughout the night. I enjoyed drinking and swimming in the pool all night as it is 24/7. Customer service was kind here and they give you pool towels that smell very fresh and clean :)
Sometimes bar is open — we thought it would be on Saturday night but closed actually. So we walked to get drinks no matter. Very close to kiosks and other party venues. I really enjoyed taking a little quiet break from all the rest of the pack.
I really like this place :) I’ll be back!

BEWARE! Upon arriving was told water wasn't working! Also NO ONE at the front desk, had to CALL THE hotel on my cell. Was in the room maybe 10 min, decided not to stay. The owner told me I could receive a PARTIAL REFUND. The pics of the ROOMS ARE NOT WHAT IS SHOWN on the internet. By the way, THERE was NO REFUND.

I had a great experience here after booking it last minute. It's a cute little place next to the water. The room was well cleaned and fairly large. I had one of the rooms that didn't have a direct view of the ocean, but I had a balcony on the side and could still look out on the waves. The bartender was great and I had a great time talking with her and the other guests on the Oceanside bar they have there. Pool looked amazing as well.
Was very happy, would stay here again!

First upon arrival there was NO ONE at the front desk. I tried knocking on the counter, calling out "hello" a few times. So I called the hotel, mind you from inside their lobby, and a young man comes down these stairs, and the informs that the WATER wasn't working. I tried the room, and noticed the pics on the internet ARE NOT what you walk into. I left within 15 min, the young guy calls the manager/owner and she's hesitant to refund my money, that I could receive a partial refund. Than tells me, she will send me an email on Mon, its early Mon evening and no email. By coincidence, their phone number IS NO LONGER listed. This is NOT A JOKE take heed BEWARE!

Had such a great experience. All of the workers and owner were super attentive and kind. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. We will definitely be back!

This hotel was so beautiful. The employees were amazing, friendly and very communicative making sure you didn't need clean towels etc. The location was great. Short walk to Luquillo Kioskos and beaches. The pool is 24 hrs which is nice since we explored most of the day. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Nice bar patio area overlooking the water crashing on the rocks below. I highly recommend this hotel!

We had a great stay here for our little mini-wedding anniversary trip! Right on the water with a quick 5-ish minute walk over to the beach and Luquillo kiosks. It's a great location that was very near the rainforest and bio bay area. The staff was friendly, and the hotel being tucked in a small neighborhood right on the Atlantic gave it a great local feel. We highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Selva Boutique, the price absolutely cannot be beat. The view from the pool/patio is amazing, and you’re in walking distance of the beaches and kiosks/restaurants. It’s a beautiful, laid back hotel and next time we plan a trip to Luquillo we will be back!

Ocean Front and walk to the beach. What a gem and value! Near the famous Kiosko, El Yunque rain forest, nearby horseback riding, jetskis. The area has everything. This is a beautiful small hotel and a nice change from the cghir hotels. There is a weekend bar right on the water with a million dollar view. Delicious Pina Colada's and some local bites. Its adults only which is nice. Really a very charming experience and highy recommend. Staff is amazing.

It seems that it's a family owned business. They really treat you as family. I went to a local bazaar event and I asked for the Formula 1 race. They set me the TV. Then I ordered some food. Not a lot of options, but at least you don't have to go out for food. It's a good option at Luquillo at a very affordable price.

This is a small hotel in a very secluded area. We had a very please stay for one night. I was emailed all of my access codes so self check-in was a plus. I felt very safe. The rooms were clean, water pressure in the shower was great. Linens were plush. Access to Roku, if that’s your thing. The back bar has waves right to the shore so you’ll enjoy a breeze. I had an ocean view room and I could hear the waves all through the night and the view in the morning was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. We had breakfast and the service was so sweet. You can tell it’s a family owned place with how much care they gave us. We cannot wait to come back and make this our home base. Parking is free and right across the street. Cannot recommend enough!

If it were possible to add a star, we would do it without hesitation.
The hotel had a very unique and beautiful style, we can tell that the owner has been working hard to improve it. It was clean and quiet, and offers a breathtaking view of the beach (this beach is easily accessible, just a 3 minute walk from the hotel).
I highly recommend enjoying a meal or drink in front of that view, wether it is food purchased from the hotel or your own. The pina colada we had at the hotel is the best we’ve had in Puerto Rico so far, and we’ve tried a few ☺️
The owner of the hotel is very kind and helpful. She knows the area very well and can give you good recommendations of places to visit and adresses to eat at.
We can’t talk about the hotel without mentioning its sociable and cute cat, Selva.
Thank you for the perfect stay, we will definitely come back if we get a chance to visit Puerto Rico again.

My wife and I stayed here during our visit. It was very clean and accommodating. The bed was a little hard and we ended up by a mattress topper to be a little more comfortable. The views were phenomenal. Staff was friendly. We would stay here again.

What a gift this place was. I could've spent hours just listening to the ocean waves crashing right outside my balcony. The room was clean and comfortable, with cold AC. Staff was helpful and friendly, including the cat Selva who decided to befriend me. The location is perfect — it's only a few minutes walk to the beach (Playa Fortuna), a 10-15 minute walk to the Luquillo Kiosks, and a 10 minute drive to El Yunque. I stayed two nights here but wish it was longer! I'll absolutely be back.

Room was nice. Hotel itself was nice and quiet which is what I care most about. Our other place on the other side of the island had barking dogs and chickens nonstop.
No real complaints. Cept the headboard. And the mirror on the wall that shows me my knees. And the shower knobs also at knee height. But it's quirky so it's ok.

Very nice staff. I loved the digital check-in with a code so we didn't need to stop at the front desk and could come at any time. Beautiful views every day by the ocean. It was only a 4 minute walk to the beach which was very private. I would highly recommend!

The hotel overlooks the ocean! We had coffee outside on the deck every morning and would look at the water! Selva, the cat, would greet us every morning to say hello! The pool was nice and well maintained! Great housekeeping! We will definitely stay here again!
