I love this hotel. The rooms are spotless, the pool great, full breakfast, cleanliness, the spa, there is nothing I can say that I didn't like. I've been there twice and I'll be back.

Super hotel with a small catch, the menu of lunches and dinners is very short to be a Buffet and not in which the taste of children is not taken into account. Instead the breakfast and the pastries unbeatable. Otherwise highly recommended.

For a 5-star hotel, the amenities leave a lot to be desired. Although the rooms are ok, the minibar barely cools and I miss more things. Compared to other hotels in its category, it has a lot to improve. The quality of the restaurant very loose and abusive prices (as well as that of alcoholic beverages). Compensate escape to the center of Braga to eat much better and cheaper. It's not a 5-star category.

The hotel is at 2km of center of braga but yocu can go walk for riverside The rooms is big great bed and very clean The service is good always with a smilein his faces.

It is wonderful, clean and if you choose the open style is sensual and beautiful, very good attention, know many languages, parking was very useful. The breakfast was very good.

I had to do 2 bookings for my continuous stay of 16days just because single booking was costing 11Euro/Day extra (which costs me 176Euro extra in the overall bill). Though I was promised to not to change the room for the second booking which starts immediately after the first one, I was asked to change the room (of course it was an upgraded one). 2. I had no issues with the lifts (elevators) for the first few days. Hotel wis a 12 storey building and had just 3 lifts for customers use. It was horrible situation in peak hours when one among 3 lifts isn't working. 3. There was some discrepancy in the billing. Called the reception for help and they did not receive the call at all. Had to go to ground floor just to check. In fact it was the mistake from Hotel side. 4. One of the days in my stay my room was not cleaned though I did not put up any flag to not to clean. Had to call, wait and then get it cleaned. 5. Hotel also offers room conference/party. It was extremely noisy when there was party going on next to my room. It would be good if the party halls are away from the rooms where people live. 6. I had a TV in my room.

I loved it since I booked it, then there everything is fine, the rooms, the staff, the breakfast, the spa, etc…, I have recommended this hotel to many people and all have come delighted, very good value for money, and very close to the Buon Jesus del Monte.

It is ok. The place is nice and modern. I do not give 5* for a couple of reasons. First, the quality of the appliances seems not to be too good and that reduces the comfort feeling. Secondly, I was surprised that the gym is not complimentary and you must pay to use it, which is not usual. It never happened to me before. I understand that you have to pay for the spa and other services but not for the gym.

The rooms are very nice and spacious. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It would improve the maintenance of the spa but in general, acceptable.

It is a good hotel to visit Braga, modern and with a friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable with a small glitch, the shower door and the Walter DL is the same, so if someone is showering you may not close le water. Of the food say we have only had breakfast and dinner sandwich based but the breakfast buffet was quite correct. The SPA and fitness room are good too. Parking 6 €/day. It is not in the center of the city, you have to move by car. At 5 minutes There is a pizzeria that is highly recommended for dinner "Il Fiume".

Necessary to restrict access to the SPA to minors, at least in certain slots, or becomes a mere water park for children and there is no relaxation possible. The room was very good but the layout is a bit strange, without physical separation of the bathroom and the bed except for a thick curtain. The location is good. Near Bom Jesus and the center. Although it is 5-star, there were inadmissible deficiencies: heated towel, broken toilet lid. A lot of mosaics were missing from the bottom of the pool, so you could cut your feet.

All the staff is hyper professional following a big Imprevu… a group of 100 people to manage. They manage until breakfast. Finally our little incident allowed us to discover a beautiful hotel a very friendly staff without exception the TOP.

Very pleasant stay. The room was excellent. The only downside is the heated pool which the water is not very hot, rather cool.

Catering staff are brilliant, everyone is happy to help. Rooms are nice and well maintained. On site spa is nice to relax in, the pool is not ideal for anyone that wants to do lots of lengths, but the outside pool looks a lot better for that.

Clean, smart and affordable. I was only in town for business but Melia Braga hotel was perfect for the job.

On the outside, looks pretty good, is a five star, away from the center relatively because if you go to walk, would be about 40 minutes to the central area that if by a sidewalk very, very close to the cars. Good as I said is a hotel with the latest, modern, tactile light connections, gym, Turkish bath, sauna, indoor pool, classes included Acuagim, Pilates etc. But let's go to the room, first day two bathrobes present in the same, we use them, we remove them the next day in the morning and we do not put others, we ask them in the afternoon and tell us that if we think well we would put them in the morning but after three days S didn't replenish them again. The TV, it did not work or the channels were programmed, the heating did not work only normal air. We advised maintenance and we solved the TV but not the heating. Under the desk table you can see loose wires, plugs outside the wall and foam protruding from the air conditioner grille. Not the hotel seems spectacular but you have to take care of all these details.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Braga but by bus you will soon arrive to the centre (number 2 to 1, €55). It has enough parking outside, we never had problem to park. The hotel has a modern décor and the facilities are well maintained. The rooms are very large with fridge, shower and bathtub (at least ours). They have a spa, with swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna. They also have a swimming pool outside. The breakfast buffet is very complete and the dinner if you have to pay it to Part I find it a little expensive (€22 plus the drink), but of flavor you have to recognize that it is very rich. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

Hotel very good the people very boring.

The facilities are very good. The attention at the reception is also good, however the attention in the Spa area, the waiters, has not been the best. A waiter on December 24th, left us waiting 20 minutes to take note and when I approached the bar the waiter yelled at me. I don't know if it was that they were overflowing, but in a 5 star Superior Hotel, a situation like this should not be presented. As for the SPA the staff shone for their lack of kindness, faced with a question I made their answers were sharp and unkind, in fact we witnessed a scene with a guest who faced a complaint about the temperature of the water and have the two Jacuzzis outside is Service the answers from the SPA staff were very unpleasant.

We spent Christmas there, we are disgusted because the quality was not consistent with the price. In our room was spoiled the temperature of the shower and we were not given bathrobe. Christmas Eve Dinner was an average buffet for an exorbitant price. All other aspects well, but hopefully Q take care of these details seeing the price they have.

Spacious rooms, bathroom perfect, all very clean, the bed is huge, the polster a little soft but in the closet there is more. It's breakfast with a lot of variety, and the staff super attentive at all times. I will certainly repeat. The spa was not able to prove it, at the time it went down there were too many people and opt not to enter.

New facilities, modern hotel. Location away from the centre, you need car or taxi. Rooms are clean and comfortable, but with windows that communicate the room with the bathroom, not practical. The outdoor parking has no cost, the covered yes.
The spa is not worth it (not free for guests) : Cries of children and older as if it were a public swimming pool. There is no control on the part of the hotel staff. Jacuzzi did not work properly, pool water cold for my liking, the floor flooded with water to enter the sauna and the Turkish bath.

Good Hotel Although the 5 star thing is something too. Services attentive. Rooms OK although the layout of the bathroom area did not please me very much. Or you close the shower or the service. A bathtub in the middle. It is something away from the center (30 minutes well). The downtown taxi to the hotel 7 euros. Normal breakfast. But I want to make it clear that we are talking about a 5 star and Meliá that usually work well. The pool and the gym well. I was at ease.

The staff were lovely! … But for such a good hotel, there were far too many little things that were wrong or just badly executed. Coffee service — though there was a kettle in my room, and three kinds of sweetener, and camomile tea, there was no coffee. I requested coffee, and a housekeeper came with coffee capsules! … There was no machine in my room for capsules. The next day, despite leaving a note asking for coffee, the capsules were gone and there was still no coffee. How hard is this? Coffee. Seriously, just leave some coffee! The elevator buttons for 2 of the 3 elevators didn't work for the two days I was there. The lobby and bar area was so cold that you needed to wear a jacket. The lighting system in the rooms is very high-tech! So high tech that, while you're hunting for the flat featureless touch panel in the dark you manage to turn on every light in the room… Then you're awake for sure! Breakfast service is spotty… It wasn't ready until 20 minutes after opening time on my first day there. All in all… I would have expected more professionalism from such a highly regarded hotel chain. Call me disappointed.

Hard to give an objective opinion, I only stayed one night following an airplane problem. However, for what I have seen, the rooms are very well appointed and very clean.

Nice hotel but it is not suitable for business trips in which teammates need to share a room. The rooms are very intimate with some having no doors on the shower or toilet. In my room there was a frosted sliding door, however other issues presented themselves. Such as the hot and cold tap in the shower was the wrong way down. Service is friendly but could be more helpful in some cases. In general a nice hotel that is clean and comfortable.

Hotel is nicely keeped, emplyees are nice and polite and hotel location is ok even not being downtow.

It is a very elegant and very quiet hotel with a very modern style. The deluxe breakfast even with whole-wheat bread, gluten-free bread, of all types. The rest is the same. The luxury spa.

Possibly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is modern, new, quiet … We got a superior room without asking for it really wonderful, very spacious, equipped, with a huge bathroom and very comfortable. The bed was really comfy and the pillows, of the best I have found in a hotel. The breakfast was very varied, quality, constantly replaced, and eaten very well. It has an outdoor swimming pool for all guests and spa. The staff was very friendly. And the city is pretty, so I'll stay there for sure.

I have visited it as there is a conference held there. The place is nice and classy. The staff are helpful and friendly. The view is amazing and the rooms are clean.

Breakfast and lobby is very good, rooms very fancy but I have the feeling theat there is no maintenance in the hotel. I was there in last years several times and it is always worse. If there is any damage / mark on the walls it stays forever there. I was there just few days ago and even the room was dirty and with full of marks everywhere, example just check the room 1215 bathroom area even the vinyl cover has waves and nobody repair it. If the maintenance would be better than it could easily reach more stars. By the way the lifts are not syncronised and you have to way lot of time to get one if you are in the higher floors…

This place was amazing can't wait to go back and so close to the Mall and city centre. Staff were very friendly sometimes service was a little slow at the bar and pool bar. Will definitely come back again though.

This was our second stay at a Melia Hotel after we could spend a great time in Berlin.
Long story short: the hotel is sure to the absolute top class and if I mention some points of criticism as a result, only because you must pay attention to this level even on details.
Styling has fallen one but the institution fully met my taste. The room was large enough, the sleep was separated from the sanitary area through a curtain and the free-standing bathtub. The bed was excellent — one of the few hotel rooms, in which I had in fact a week no back pain.
The breakfast buffet was ok, though nothing compared to the Melia Berlin. The dishes have also not big alternated himself, so that after a week but a certain tolerance had turned a.
Small criticisms:
The use of the TV was mildly getting, because he has responded very slowly to Bedienungsvesuche. This means that it has activated the device by pressing the corresponding button on the remote control, but then only approached this with a delay of perhaps 20 seconds. . Habitaciones comfortable and minimalist… facilities with a very elegant white design… but not gives the services of a 5 star hotel… the breakfast is a bit poor… amenities lacks enough products, they do not comb, or razors, toothbrush or… etc… There is also no bathrobe.
