Quinta Labruja

A lovely location, warm hosts, and truly exceptional cuisine. This stay was a highlight of our Camino!

We stayed three nights with our family. Used the location to explore the area. Location is beautiful and very tasteful. The hosts are superb, extremely friendly and helpful.
We loved the dinner and were delighted every morning at the delicious breakfast, featuring home made cooking and great coffee 😁.
Hosts made us feel very much at home and it was a pleasure to be off the beaten track.

I stayed one night during my camino in Quinta Labruja and it was a full service relax moment. The welcome was warm and friendly. The food was lovely, I tasted the passion. Both diner and breakfast. And Gisa and Fred were very kind and helpful with useful tips over the camino. Great value for money. Very happy I stayed there.

Our hosts have been providing an exceptional experience for us. They even did accept to receive us despite the fact their location was closed during Easter. It is straight on the Camino with a beautiful view. Don't miss Gisa's vegetarian food! Thank you both for receiving us, being one of our highlights on the way to Santiago de Compostela.

We were walking the Camino on a very rainy day, started getting tired and wet so we booked a room at Quinta Labruja at the last minute. We felt so welcome, Gisa and Fred are so lovely and provided a welcome drink, great advice and a warm atmosphere for us to relax.

The personal touch at the Quinta La Bruja was beyond description. Fred and Gisa have only 2 rooms for rent. They enjoy being able to offer a personal touch and feel that more rooms would thwart that goal. Upon our arrival, they welcomed us with glasses of wine on the veranda looking out over the beautiful verdant views of vineyards. Gisa accommodated all of my dietary needs in the gourmet dinner that she prepared for us that included 4 different entries, the recipes of which were probably all created by her. The dessert was surprising and delicious: a gelado made with avocado, white chocolate and lime, and such a delectably smooth texture! The breakfast, which was included, was filled with protein in a variety of forms, in addition to a basket of bread, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee and tea. The lodging was designed by them both and what talent they have! Gisa’s decorating is whimsical and extremely tasteful. Our room was super well-appointed in every way possible. But best of all were the conversations we had with them both on various topics. We just cannot say enough; you must try this experience for yourself. We certainly would love to stay with you again.
