➜ We had a drink on the terrace with beautiful views of the Douro River, then ate in the restaurant. Good portions of cod, very well made although as in many Portuguese places they put too much olive oil, to my liking especially in grilled cod. The shrimp cocktail is something different, with pink sauce and lettuce. Desserts are a kind of free buffet. Very good value for money. Very fast service even though the place fills up and the waiters do not give a stop.

Great! Great bed, pillows, spotlessly clean, very spacious room. The views of the Douro river from the room is priceless. Perhaps one drawback is that no mini-bar.
