It is a very relaxing place outside of Funchal, the staff are very attentive and helpful. Recommend it.

Very pleasant stay, very friendly, helpful staff, very good breakfast. The Quinta is located a little away from the village in the green, it is quiet here. Even on hot days, due to the altitude, you can sleep well at night, as it cools down pleasantly (sometimes! even sensitively) in the evening hours. There is almost always a light wind blowing. If you don't like it too hot, this is the right place. If you're here for a beach holiday with party life, you're wrong here.
The rooms in the house are sufficiently large, usually with balcony, the furnishings appropriate to the room rate. If you like it more secluded, you can rent a bungalow in the garden. You can get a simple delicious dinner on registration, or eat in one of the restaurants in the neighboring villages (car required). The wine selection is very good.

Lovely, peacefull, quiet and small hotel. Everything is tidy, and up to a normal standard. The staff is very friendly, they show a lot of interest in their guests. In the middle of nature, mountains, forrest. And if you have the luxury of a rentalcar, you can discover the whole iland of Madeira very easily.

This is just a beautiful place to stay! When we arrived there, we got upgraded to stay in the Chalet. That was a pleasent surprise on for our honeymoon. The Chalet is a beautiful traditional house next to the main building. It’s very quit and combines classic furniture elements with a modern style bedroom. We really enjoyed staying there as it was very quiet and had a great vibe. The breakfast was just amazing. Delicious fruit salads, cornflakes, peppermint-water with herbs f…rom their own garden and much more – delicious! When we went exploring the island and returned in the evening, we sometimes stayed in the quinta for dinner. This food was absolutely amazing! The cook is a master and the staff is just sweet – so great people, we really loved them all! If you want to have a quiet vacation in a beautiful natural environment with tasty food, beautiful people and great atmosphere, go here! This is a beautiful place, you will enjoy it — 5 stars.
