Hotel

We stayed at this hotel only 4 days. Mixed sensations motivated by merits (friendly and very helpful staff, good restaurant, good location in general), and flaws (cleaning and room amenities not up to 4 stars, rooms below average, not very cheap prices). Cmq a discreet and dignified base for a visit of the city of a few days.

All streets around the hotel are being fixed so the access to the main door and parking garage are almost impossible to find. The garage is so small, help is needed to get in and out. The shower area is dangerous for elder people, the staff is not friendly and they charge extra for breakfast what most hotels in Lisbon don't. I am not going back.

Spent 250 CAD. A night should have been 150 CAD. Not a 4 star at all. In the rooms you will find an uncharming dated decor, circa 1998 — 2002, plus one of the worst beds I have slept in, in over ten years and 3 continents. Springs in your back! Superb location. Metro station is the best to get everywhere and the staff really tries to please but this is super over priced for what you get. Lower your standards and be sure you don't have a bad back. Note: there is construction outside that looks like it will take a year to complete. It is not noisy though. Anyways not like you have any views or balconies off the rooms and I stayed in 2. Not worth the price for comfort but for location for getting to other places. Nothing to do around here, and it's super quiet at night. Good for sleeping with widow open.

Rooms are small. I asked for an iron to iron my clothes as they say that they have this. No iron was available. Two are broken and 1 was in use. They have promised to have an iron within the next 12 hours. This seems a little unreasonable as I do not need it tomorrow… I need it tonight. The faucet in the tub does not shut off properly and makes noise all day and night… not to mention a complete waste of natural resources. There is road construction on all sides of the hotel. The taxi could not drop me anywhere except 1 block away. The construction noise is loud during the day. Any relaxation during the day us impossible.

Good for a Portuguese hotel. Although something away from the center. Little noise from the rest of the rooms. Ample Breakfast and dinner give you a menu (always the same) for Q choose.

Nice lobby. Friendly staff. Clean, spacious room.

Not bad, all good. Only problem, I can never figure out which door to use to get in.

The hotel is good but not fancy. The receptionists are very nice and helpful in directing and guiding tourist to city main attraction. There are few shopping centers 5 min walk from the hotel but walking to Lisbon's tourists main area takes 30 minutes.

Very nice staff, close to the mouth of the subway and above all very quiet.

Not bad. Very clean rooms with nice beds. From a tourist's point of view is somewhat away from the centre, but is very close to Saldanha metro staction which connects the hotel with the Airport and the main attractions. Breakfast is average but at least there's something for everyone. Staff could be more smiling.

Centrally located, with taxi stop nearby, shopping centre at 5 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free Wi-Fi and it works well. What you would expect from a 4 star hotel, does not disappoint. Whenever I can come back.

Pros: Well-connected, very comfortable beds and extreme cleanliness. Cons: Overcharge per pet (20 euro night), single or large beds are given randomly, even if you put it, not all rooms have a balcony. You can hear the other rooms.

Very good weekday lunch menus. Nice place for a business lunch. Good food and nice staff.

Good location. Well connected to both the airport and the city center. Historic palace, modern and essential interior. Good breakfast. Rooms not large, but comfortable. We would have appreciated the presence of a kettle for water so that we could make a tea or a coffee. Good value for money.

The hotel is very well located the parking is problematic if the car is big you need to use elevator.

Not bad. We had to change rooms because the heating did not work. But otherwise all great and beautiful views.

After 24 hours of flying… was looking forward to a good nights sleep. Probably the hardest bed I've slept on in any hotel in Europe or Asia — surpising for a 4 star hotel. I could feel the springs though the mattress. The front desk offered no alternatives and the manager wasn't going to be in until Monday. We tried putting towels and on the bed : (At 5 am… We decided to change hotels. My advice would be too check bed quality when at check-in before staying the night. We also had a big issue with the AC unit — we thought it was on the whole time (the wall thermostat showed the 'cooling symbol') … but the room continued to be humid/stuffy — making it also harder to sleep! After talking with the front desk at 3 am, he stated 'i control it from here, you just need to tell us you want it on. ' What?! Why didn't they tell us this at check-in? If they are trying to save money/energy just tell us at check-in and then we can decide. I'm usually easy to please but getting a good night's sleep on a comfortable bed at a comfortable temperature is not asking too much at a '4 star' hotel. 2 good qualities. Location and the burger. I'd only stay here if budget mattera more than a comfortable nights sleep.

3 Star disguised as 4

Room was clean! Always a good sign. Pool. Not really, more the size of a large hot tub by North American standards, but it's nice. Location was good relative to a train station and it was within a half hour walk of the old town and waterfront. Wifi was excellent. No issues. Staff was friendly and helpful (I had baggage issues in transit and they helped).

Hotel located in a quiet area. Staff very welcoming, unfortunately one is very far from a 4 star: Small and dark room, necessary toilet for one person while one is two, impossibility to have a twin non-smoking room as requested, dust on the Office, picture quality of the TV that leaves to be desired, partitions so thin that you hear the slightest movement outside the room…

Good position close to underground an bus services. A nice place to stay at a reasonable price.

A centrally located hotel with nearby access to the "Picoas" Metro station.
Point Wifi is free and is located at the entrance of the hotel.
Its parking lot has the negative point. It is underground and is accessed via a lift. The curve of the exit of the elevator is closed and narrow; only recommended for small and medium-sized cars. The alternative may be one of the nearby car parks.

Good stay with nearness to the area history of the city, as well as a variety of shops, the hotel has a good exclusive gym for clients, plus rooms are comfortable equipped with Wi-Fi, satellite TV, safe for your valuables and own parking.

It is an ideal hotel for business. It has a good price and the room is very spacious. It has a working desk with Wi-Fi free.
The bed is comfortable and spacious. Safe condition.
