Customer service at this property is top notch, very short drive from LIS International Airport and the staff here is very detailed oriented for your needs.

Can not say enough good things about our stay at Praia D’El Rey Marriot. First, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Can not say enough about the staff! Our room was cleaned and smelled so nice everyday, loved the free liter of water in our room daily. The food buffets were good, a little pricey, but lots of options, even a gluten free area and other milk choices like soy, etc not just dairy. The yoga class I took was enjoyable with the sea breeze, and the day spent on the beach and by the pool with a drink was great. My husband LOVED golfing by the beach, and we would definitely return to this resort in a heartbeat!

Since our visit, it is one of our "happy places". As used to from Marriott everything was perfect: nice rooms, beds, breakfast, the bar, the pool and here most important … the beach! Unbelievable breathtaking part of the coast. Beautiful. We will come back soon for sure!

Nice welcome, friendly and caring staff. Food is good, nothing which would blow your mind, but good. Breakfast has good variety and quality. Whole resort has been refurbished, quite modern and with a warm touch. Rooms are nice, also re-done. Large, warm pool. At the beach deck-chairs and sun-shades are offered, rooms have beach-towels. The golf course is beautiful, certainly worth playing. We stayed using my points and with my membership level we received nice benefits. Breakfast discount from 30 EUR to 10 EUR being a platinum member, nice treat. We don't stay much in resorts but this one we would revisit.

That was a find! The beach is fantastic. The restaurants at the Marriott are good for breakfast maybe lunch but not that great for dinner. Did not have a chance to explore Mare restaurant as part of resort. Going back but next time will rent a house as part of the resort rather than Marriott.

The hotel is excellent, matching the 5 stars. Great location, kitchen and service on the level. The view from the window to the Atlantic Ocean is amazing. The contingent is mostly from Britain.

Had a nice stay there for a couple nights! The staff very professional and polite with a great service, clean rooms, a unique stay… I didnt noticed anything negative here.

The Gourmet Restaurant is not recommended small Card, poor Service. Starter Was acceptable, But Steak was quite chewy and poorly prepared.

Right on the shore in a very quiet place. Make sure to ask for a room with a view on the ocean or it might be quiet boring view. The room are comfortable but relatively simple for such category of hotel. The view from the bar is very nice. Very attentive staff.

A good Marriott resort in the middle of nowhere. If you’re happy to be in a single location or you enjoy golf then this is the place for you. Well to be honest if you like golf then this is the place for you… if you don’t then maybe look elsewhere!

Amazing property fabulous experience All staff from checkin, housekeeping, restaurant customer services to checkout, over our 5 day was brilliant — I hope to come back sometime and experience the property in the summer sometime. The five stars seem to be mostly for the broad range of services, and maybe breakfast, which is pretty good and with plenty of variety. Room size is also generous, but some details could be way better, namely to reflect the 5th star.

We are leaving this Marriott hotel tomorrow after a week stay. The rooms are great but service not too good at replacing items used. In fact they didn't very often. Breakfast is a crazy, chaotic state of affairs. Queuing to get in even though many tables empty and once at your table the cutlery is very lacking. There are never any condiments you have to go looking and to find spoons for eating cereals is a challenge. The staff were great but they couldn't keep up with clearing… The toaster now that is another challenge as it doesn't work well either. For a five star hotel this simply is not good enough. They need to improve.

For families whom expecting excellent 5 star services: Delivers basic expectations but no "satisfactories". You need to know, that in this area you will have a foggy microclima all year around with just around 20° centigrade during summer season too. The probability for sun will be around 50 percent. The hotel concept and the interior and exterior facilities needs some bigger upgrade. Pool and playground area just boring. The outside pool isn't heated. The Kids Club is some kilometres away (at Beachfront Hotel) and the facilities there are more ragged as here. There is a small Kids Corner close to the breakfast area but only if there is no company event. They used this — in our eyes — precious corner for some days for buffet without any replacement. Breakfast area by far too tiny. Guests have to sit very tight together and along the main floor too. So it's very crowded and not really relaxing. You get instant coffee which tastes cheap. We got the good one by coincident from behind the doors. So you need to ask for the real good coffee from behind the doors. Restaurant prices are to high and for kids whom don't like to eat pizza, pasta and burger every day gets it difficult. Without the very good employers we would give the hotel only one star. This rating we made with our experience from staying in more than 50 very good rated five star hotels.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The beach is fantastic (similar to a N. CA beach). Rough water (waves broke too close for surfing) while we visited. The breakfast and food we're good (not great). The rooms are normal Marriott rooms. Very friendly service and staff. Good full gym.

Dilapidated and dirty Installations… The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, yet the size of the rooms and balconies are ridiculous. Soils around the pool dirty, mushrooms in the hammam. In short, this hotel has good and stars only its name.

An exceptional place. The rooms are very spacious. The furniture is of great quality and very comfortable. The views are great and the bed perfect. The breakfast was very good. Close to an almost deserted beach, perfect for resting. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Perfect Hotel For those looking to replace batteries in a natural and quality environment.

Great staff. Nice and tasty restaurants. You can loose yourself on both sides of the beach. The pool was warm even if it was a bit chilly. Real classy and cozy at the same time.

Because after two stays it did not know how to live up to a 5 star hotel many problems such as breakfast all the meals with all the dishes, dirty room at check in (paper handkerchiefs under the bed and dirt)

Food too expensive for its quality. Away from everything. No bathing at sea by Red Flag what was the majority of my stay.

Great hotel, wonderful rooms with very comfortable beds. Having a golf course is a definite plus for players. It's just a shame there is currently no beach access.

Oh my god this hotel is big the people are nice and friendly. I enquired about the football and they were that nice they tried to relieve me of €22 for the hour, oh I laughed as I left the reception the beach was a nice stroll just a stones throw from the hotel but the manager didn't look to impressed.

It's a very great hotel with great pools and very very kind people, two things tho, 1) It's a very very big resort, so a car is a must-have. 2) You have to buy if you want Wi-Fi, you only have internet at club house, and the Marriot hotel.
