This place has potential. The building and rooms are nice, modern, and comfortable. It's not a bad place to stay. But we were disappointed. We had booked months ago, thinking we were getting a room with its own kitchen. But upon arrival, we found there is only one such room (#9), and it was occupied by someone else. We were put in room It was acceptable, but lacking the basic little things that make a room comfortably usable, like towel racks and soap/shampoo holders. Showering was therefore more complicated than it needed to be. In the community kitchen that all other guests can use (those who aren't staying in room 9), they ran out of ground coffee, which they proudly say they offer, and didn't refill it for at least 3 days (maybe more, but we had gone by then). In fairness, when you bring something to their attention, the staff are pretty good about trying to take care of it, but still the fact is that it's not right the first time. I suppose I could have just asked them to refill the coffee. But we had already had to ask them for the proper number of towels for our family; the room didn't have enough for the number of people on our reservation. I also had to ask for a mug; the kitchen had run out. There wasn't enough toilet paper in the bathroom. Etc. But I'll praise the host for going out of his way to drive me to a store for a quick grocery run; that was a generous and helpful gesture. The location is not particularly convenient.
