Upon our arrival in Warsaw early in the morning, we arrived at our first of many hotels on our grand tour of Poland, the H15 Boutique Hotel in Warsaw. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the kind and helpful front desk staff. As we had arrived before the check-in time during high season, our room was not ready. However, the amazing front desk staff suggested to keep our luggage as we toured around the city (to which they had already graciously provided a map and outlined all the main attractions in the nearby area). They also offered to book us a tour should we desire to take this option (English tour of 3-hour duration in the day or the evening). Truly an outstanding start to our vacation! After a few hours of sightseeing, we came back to our hotel to find that our luggage had already been brought into our room. After being showed around the room/apartment by Lot, we were able to witness for ourselves the grandness of this hotel. The room was a large 1 bedroom (although I believe there was a second locked bedroom), 1.5 bathroom and a large lounging area equipped with a television as well as an area that served as the snack and coffee bar. The decoration of the hotel was also quite elegant and lives up to the niche that is a boutique hotel. The room was also immaculately clean and the toiletries were from one of my favorite stores, l’Occitane. The hotel was also in a good location with lots of wonderful restaurants on a quiet street with walking distance to the Warsaw train station and the Palace of Culture and Science. For other sightseeing purposes while in Warsaw, we found the MyTaxi app very useful in getting around the town, reasonably priced to (2.00-2.60 zl/km) and allowed us to order taxis without having to muster up too much Polish. We also want to mention that we did take the evening tour arranged by the front desk on the first day we were in Warsaw and we were not disappointed! The tour was essentially a bus tour with a small group of individuals (we were 5 in total) where our tour guide stopped at the main attractions in Warsaw (Łazienki Park, Old Town, Museum of the History of Polish Jews, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, PGE Soccer Stadium, etc. ) and gave us a history lesson on Warsaw. The tour guide, Art, was extremely knowledgeful and really made our stay a memorable one! Thank you to all staff and team!
