Great hotel and kinf friendly staff but Restaurant a little question. FYI** order your food Plates one bye one!. Other wise they bring all orders in one batch to the table! Kitchen staff and rude owner they don't have any professional clue of the short order preparation!

I also had my interior painted with them. The contractor was courteous, punctual, and detail-oriented. Their color recommendations were invaluable, and they delivered as guaranteed. My walls are fresh once more, and I highly recommend their service.

Squeaky clean hotel with impeccable decoration taste, in-house restaurant for wine and gourmet connoisseurs’ delight, staff are very courteous and efficient. This place is just perfect for travelers/ tourists. With storm Crising 07/18/25, ferry trips to Siquijor were cancelled. Needed a place to stay until the next day when ferry services resumes, so glad that Expedia recommended this place. Will also recommend to family and friends. Will come back when in Dumaguete. Kudos to the owners.

While the dorm’s social atmosphere and modern amenities like study lounges and free printing are major perks, thin walls and cramped rooms can test your patience—pack earplugs and embrace the chaos if you’re here to make friends!

It's a good hotel for it's price better than other expensive hotel clean and friendly staff ❤️❤️❤️

This is a really Great hotel I was picked up at Dumaguete airport by the hotel shuttle bus, It was February 14th. I walked in to reception and was greeted by a lovely chorus of "Happy Valentines day" from Lizzie, Marvey and Ching at the front desk, Check in was quick and my bags taken up to my room, the room was large and had a really comfortable bed also 2 armchairs a coffee table, big wardrobe (and clothes hangers) there was old style furniture so it felt really homely, also a large shower and hot water with good pressure. The Wi-Fi was very stable so I had no problem with internet. Breakfast was included and the food was great. Really good. It was always service with a smile from everyone. One of the girls even found a button and sewed it on to my shorts. Definately one of the best hotel stays I've had any where in the world. I will stay there again next time I am in Dumaguete Well done Charos.

Just an overnight stay to wait for a flight to Manila with a group. Arrived late in the evening, but the restaurant was still taking the last orders. The waitresses were so kind to accommodate our requests of hot drinks even though they were not on the menu. The foods we ordered were so delicious and filling.

In this category, undoubtedly this is the best place to stay so far. Pristine rooms, amazing Restroom and kits. The hotel staff including the restaurant, are very eager to lend help. Well trained manpower. Kudos to the owner.

Unassuming exterior; clean and organized; but unassuming. Once you are inside though, it's perfect; spotlessly clean; with beautiful collectibles in the reception area, the hallways, the rooms, and the restaurant. The food served in that same restaurant is delicious and affordable. We all loved our courtesy breakfasts and the all meat pizza was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very well designed and usually I dont care about that but I really liked it, room was great, hot shower, no kettle but they bring you boiling water to room upon request very quickly. One of the best places I stayed in Philippines.

Soooo disappointed! We couldn't go there because of a Typhon and they didn't want to refund or even to change the day of the booking, they're not honest, it's not fair to keep the money without giving the opportunity to sleep there!

By far one of the coolest and best places I've stayed at since being in the Philippines. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The effort they've put in to decorating the place for Christmas just wow. These beds 🥹 a bigger wow. Big coffee cups, cutlery, the list goes on. Absolutely everything you might need for a comfortable short or long stay. I will definitely come and stay here again. Shout out to the reception lady on duty upon our check in, you set the atmosphere of this place.

I wasn't expecting much for the price I paid, but it was highly recommended and I'm glad I booked this place. 😊 I had a wonderful and comfortable stay. Everything was so clean and the staff were wonderful! Don't overthink; just book before someone else does. 🤭

We loved this place. Everything. Rooms, staff, and location. The room is spacious, clean, AC is super silent, nice water pressure and hot water, and located in a quaint area not far from shops. This place is great value for money. I really recommend.

The staff are fantastic. Very helpful and accommodating. It is clean to a fault. Every detail of cleanliness is looked after as if it were their own home. The staff makes it feel like a home away from home and that anything you need is a priority. The only issue I have at all with Charo's is it is right across the street from Dumaguete Metro College so it can be a bit noisy at times. I would most definitely stay here again!

Good quality rooms for a budget price, far better than most we have stayed at in Negros. Room size good, bed & bedding good. Full of what appears to be Indonesian antique furniture of a high quality.
TV with cable. Only thing missing in our room was tea making facilities, safe and fridge, although some family rooms have them.
