Nice place, very accomodating.

Well located in Cebu. Friendly staff. 5 min walk from Ayala Mall. The breakfast could be better in my opinion but it is not bad (I miss for example youghurt). I recommend this hotel very much. Good big rooms with air-con. Not expensive.

Large comfortable room with good view from upper floor. So very convenient, Ayala Mall just steps away for shopping and great restaurants. Friendly staff, daily housekeeping, good buffet breakfast with wide selection.

Used to be a very awesome hotel in Cebu. Service has greatly deteriorated and as I was complaining about the double charging another lady at the counter made the same comment. Replenishments of water and other products are not always complete. You'll have to keep calling the concierge.

NOT recommended! Parking is not guaranteed, even for hotel guests. Asked to talk to the hotel manager to raise this concern and no one would meet with me. Lobby is always so crowded. Food in breakfast buffet is bad. Poor service for a hotel. Since there are a lot of other hotels in Cebu, better to look for other options.

It's a great hotel located in the Queen City of the South. It's a beautiful venue for events like weddings, seminars, prom, grad ball, and even birthday parties. To get here, you have to ride a jeepney going to Ayala. From there, you just have to walk. Although it's location is not that accessible because it's in the corner of a busy street, the hotel is still worth visiting.

Mandarin plaza is my favourite hotel in Cebu city. Modern. Clean big room. Big TV. Buffet breakfaat is very good. It offers great value and its just across the road from the Ayala mall. I have used this hotel on at least 10 trips.

Breakfast time is 6 am, now it is 5:53 am, I went to the resto for an early breakfast before I leave the hotel for the airport, they did not allow me to take my breakfast since they will open at 6 am. I said I just need to take something what is available because I need to take my medicine… but sorry madam, we will open at 6 am. I asked can you not accomodate me, it is just 7 mins before 6… sorry mam, it is out policy! Shet! Your food is ready! What if I tell you now that you don’t clean your room well,

I thank Mandarin Plaza Hotel for we had a great wedding reception the foods are all good and I am soooo happy that even we have an over guests they wer able to facilitate the additional guests thank you so much. I also like the rooms. I recommend your hotel for wedding reception.

Otel gayet güzel bir lokasyonda olup, güvenli bir otel. Odalar geniş ve temiz ancak mobilyalar ve havlular eski. Odada kasa mevcut. Kahvaltı asyalı ve hintlilere uygun. Pirinç, erişte ve ne olduğunu anlamadığım kızartılmış bir sürü şey var. Peynir yok, zeytin göstermelik. Meyve sadece muz ve ananas. Unlu mamül anlamında hiç bir şey yok. Kruvasan bile yok. Tatlı diye koydukları kekler rezaletti. Çay, kahve çok kötü. Meyve suyu yok. Sadece limonlu kabaklı su ve buzlu çay veriyorlar. Onlarda hamam gibi sıcak. Buz atmanız gerekiyor ki sağlık açısından tavsiye etmem. Sadece mısır gevreği ve 1 tane pişmemiş pancake yiyerek kalktım. Kısacası kahvaltısı Türk ziyaretçilere uygun değil. Odayı kahvaltısız ayırtıp, sansınızı dışarıda bir yerde denemeniz daha uygun olur. Kahvaltı kötü gerisi güzel.

A decent enough hotel to stay for a night with its prime location across the shopping centre. Don’t expect a luxury experience though with the $60/night online booking rate. Bed, furnitures, room design, and customer service are standard and not amazing. Breakfast buffet has limited options and mostly fried foods. The nearby hotels offer much better food selection and service. If you’re looking for just somewhere to stay overnight with a good rate, then this might just be the right fit for you. However, if you want to enjoy a great stay with fantastic ammenities and customer services then look somewhere else.

Bridal Suite was well worth the price. It was elegant, clean and spacious. Had 2 bathrooms too.

Good location especially for weddings near the area! However be careful because they charge for missing hangers and towels. So make sure you count them every after housekeeping.

Clean hotel. Comfortable clean rooms. Decent pool. Basic breakfast buffet. Finely a solid 3 star hotel. In room massage reasonably priced for a decent therapeutic massage.

The location is very good, the opposite is the big shopping mall! The room is normal but clean! Clean the room tip must give foot, otherwise finishing not really!

Great location being close to Ayala Mall. Also near convenience stores when you need to grab something when the mall has closed. Friendly and accommodating staff, always willing and eager to help. Accommodation includes breakfast but room service is just as good.

Nice hotel. Huge buffet. Nice rooms. Very friendly staff. Right next to Ayala Mall. A little overpriced. Stayed 6 months ago. It was 2600 per night, but nice big rooms and nice bathrooms.

The hotel locates in front of the ayala mall so it’s really convenient. They serve many tour groups from Taiwan, China and Kore and many western visitors as well. They got friendly staff and guard. The only thing I don’t like about them is their breakfast. Not many choices and I wouldn’t say it’s delicious just normal.

The room was nice & staff were friendly. I stayed here for 2 nights & didn't experience any issues. It's close to Ayala Mall so it was easy to get western food if that's what you wanted. My room was quite spacious with a king size bed & desk. The only con's for me were the bathroom drain was bad, so I would stand in the water during my shower & the hallways can be a bit noisy throughout the day. The breakfast had several options but I didn't like it very much. Overall I would stay here again because of the location & friendly staff.

Mandarin Plaza Hotel is a good hotel. Very excellent service the staff are very friendly. The room that we had was so cool very comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was good delicious food lots of choices you can have what ever you want for breakfast. Well done. I recommend this hotel.

If your room is on the 8th or 9th floor, facing the hotel across the road, noise from the music of the hotel is guaranteed. You can also hear people banging their doors and shouting in the hallway EVERY NIGHT. The only acceptable things are the food and the massage service.

Comfortable beds and the rooms were good. If you are budget worry then this place would be good to stay in. Decent rooms however it was not 100% modern and new. Still good staff and would stay there again.

Seemed very nice and clean at 1st. In 3 days saw 4 roaches there. The safe was too small to fit my laptop inside. Bathroom door needed scrubbed down. The shower took forever to drain so I was standing in my own shower water the entire time taking a shower. It was VERY noisy. The staff was very friendly, most of the place seemed clean, the breakfast was very good and lasted from 6am to 10am. It is walking distance from Ayala Malls.

My husband and I took our 4 month baby for his first ever hotel experience. We are thankful to the staff who upgraded our room to deluxe with king sized bed to accommodate the three of us. The buffet breakfast were great and ala carte were delicious and affordable. The room was clean although you can hear sounds from the hallway. Also, there's no breastfeeding room for those moms who were waiting for the check in. I had to breastfeed at the bar area, luckily the area was almost empty. All in all, my little family was satisfied with the service. My baby really enjoyed the experience.

Poor with everything. Me and my bf arrived there was so tired. I understand about security but like opening my big travel bag like im a criminal. Plus they only let my bag open not my bf bag. Nice security And then we arrive in front office all check in But however no one ever guide us to our room. Its like finding our own room Then the worst was serving cold breakfast. They have burners but they did not used it. All foods were cold! Not worth it.

Stayed overnight. Great location for travelers like me. Hallways are much wider than hotels like Marriot. My sister's comment about the breakfast was "awful. " But for me I think it's not that bad though. Best for its price!

The place is very clean. I had airborne allergy before arriving in Cebu. It was totally gone when we stayed in Mandarin Plaza Hotel. Unfortunately, the allergy was back after staying in another hotel. Also, the room look better than in photos.

Good staff and many services. The breakfast buffet is good and the rooms ate nice. Reasonable price for rooms and services.

Best hotel for the best price. I like the room its clean and spacious, food is great service is excellent. Just don't stay outside of the hotel its a bit crowded in the street.

Great breakfast! Friendly staff, nice rooms, clean too. Don't like the streets around it, too many reckless drivers. Be extra careful when crossing the street going to ayala mall. Drivers too fast.

Large Hotel near the Ayala Shopping Mall. We were two nights in a Deluxe double room. The room was large with a huge double bed. TV and has everything you need, except a mini-bar. At Breakfast, there is a dovecote. The Breakfast itself is OK but nothing Special. The Hotel is recommended for a short stay in Cebu City.

Good location, bit small room but the breakfast is very good so all in all go value.

Great modern Hotel. I've stayed in MJ and Quest hotel just across the street. I like this place most because of how modern it is. The rooms are a bit small but not bad. I didn't have any issues with the staff. I was pretty luck any had a good view from my room which was on the top floor.

I expected it to be just okay — I was wrong! The facilities are great, their Wi-Fi speed is reliable, TV channels are alright, rooms are clean and the window view is awesome! Place is also near Ayala, a big mall for shopping and liesure. Will I return? Sure!

For me and my daughter argel 3 days stay happy and enjoy feel excellent.

I have used this hotel exclusively when I am in Cebu and wish there were more of them. The service is very good. They do not know the channels on cable and need a directory but that is my only pet peeve. The service is fine. The breakfast is buffet style but is not bad at all. I can honestly say thay do try very hard to accomidate unlike some of the hotels and inns I have been in in Philippines.

Stayed August 14 to 17, 2015. Breakfast & Dinner was fine. What I hated — Front desk people were dumb enough to tell me that check in time was 3:00 PM we all know that the standard check in time is 2:00 PM. What I Hated — they don't have service elevator for the crew so they go first before guests. What I hated # 3 — I left a document at the front desk so my brother in law could pick it up at 4:00 AM going to the airport. The stupid front desk clerk forgot about it so I woke up 4:00 AM so I can tell them the document is in front of their noses. What I hated — people here do not know the word "sorry". What I hated — The General Manager Mr. Harvey Ho don't care. Stay away from this hotel! quest hotel & park lane in front is better. Spend php 500 more for a hassle free travel.

Generally a pretty good hotel. Rooms were very, as was the pool and the gym. It's also in a good location, close to Ayala Centre, the local shopping mall. Only negative is the food.

If you are a business traveler and need to touch up your suit or shirt before a meeting, you will find it impossible at this hotel. The first ironing board they brought us was a pieced of junk that fell apart. The iron they provide has no steam capabilities, which makes it impossible to take wrinkles out of a suit or shirt. The buffet is the same every single day. If you stay in this hotel for 3-6 days, the food becomes quite tedious. The fruit is room temperature, and only old over-ripe watermelon is offered. This hotel fails miserably in the little details that make business travel a pleasure. I will not be staying at this establishment again.

This is a hotel that is still in its "soft opening" phase, but the facilities are already impressive. The service is not yet top notch, but you can see that they are trying to improve each day. A lot of people check in and out daily. If you stay here, it would be a wise decision to make a prior reservation. This will be an awesome hotel when it is fully operational.
