Disgusting place! Dirty sheets and neglected rooms. No fridge in the room. Very loud and old Aircon unit. The whole building in fact was absolutely disgusting. Ants on the table in the bar downstairs and in my ice tea! Staff not attentive and quiet frankly not caring a slithest F. About the guests. While I was having my breakfast all 3 of the girls in the bar were on their phones all watching videos with the sound on leaning on the bar or just simply chilling on the sofas. Food choice on breakfast is a joke just the same as presentation. The place should never be called a hotel! I have been to many hostels that were cleaner and had more friendly and helpful staff than this hotel. I would strongly recommend you to research the real pictures of the place and if you're after a clean but basic place to stay in, avoid this one at all cost!

Very accommodating and friendly staff and also good ambience quiet and peaceful with free breakfast.

Been here 2 times before and I prefer the old look of the intior. I think the hotell has lost its charm with putting in fancy walls etc.
The staff are still friendly and our room is nice and clean.

Older facility but well cared for. Bed was very comfortable, rooms was spacious espically for the price. Had Restruant on-site and free breakfast every day.

It was a solid 3 starts hotel. The building it self was in decent shape. Our room was clean but a bit rundown and it had real old furniture. Breakfast was included but it was very little food and okay quality. They were also really strange about certain rules related to their food such as not selling coffee after breakfast time and not being able to order an extra side of longganisa sausages because they don't do that. Overall it was okay. The best thing was it's location which is very centrical to the city.

We stayed here for 2 nights. You get what you pay for. It’s cheap but at least the rooms were clean. The hotel is dated and does not look the way it does in the pictures anymore. The food was mediocre and a little expensive compared to what we payed at other places. Not far away from a 7eleven or the mall. All in all good for the price.

Great hotel, I'd give it 4.5 but that's not an option. Very clean, good shower, decent aircon and TV. Some constructive points that they can work on: — No hooks anywhere in the room, not even the bathroom, where am I supposed to hang a towel? — TV needed swapping due to poor sound, this could be checked prior to arrival. — shower sliding door doesn't move, you need to lift it. — Tiny shelf in the shower so no space for shower gel or more than 1 bar of soap. Staff were excellent throughout, very polite and helpful. We only had breakfast which was ok, we didn't have dinner here. Overall very good, some minor points that they could easily improve but I'd definitely come back, in fact we extended our stay.

I was here almost two years ago. It was nice then and remains so to the eye. However, the price hasn’t, which has been raised a bit more than 40% per night. Was told that this hotel has a new owner. Comically, there is an Aussie, he's a regular, that behaves as though the resto-bar is his living room. He has the remote and surfed, willy nilly, the channels and muted each time his phone rang so that those few of us could be enlightened as to what an important idiot he is. on the down side, listen carefully if you want to check in. Amidst all the normal daytime noise you will hear a barking dog. In the quiet of the night and throughout, you will be awakened by the howling and barking of many dogs next door. Having said that, should you choose to stay, the staff is still the wonderful staff of yesteryear, the beds are comfy and the shower is hot. Proper dress for the rest-bar is slippers and underwear.

Stayed here 6 months ago and it was great even though renovations were going on.
Now the renos are finished and it's even better. Great service and friendly staff.
A huge relief to be back here after some terrible places with rude staff not even willing to provide dry towels or clean sheets in Coron and El Nido. Strongly disagree with the negative reviews here.

The staff very helpful and friendly the room comfortable the only thing I found fault with was the pizza I don't think the cook has any concept of making. Very expensive for the pizza! Asked the staff if they would eat it they all said no sir! For the Hotel five star for the cook zero.

Thanks Kiwi Hotel for the great accomodation. My mom and baby enjoyed well. It's a nice place and has been renovated no smoke ashes and odor. Great! From my mother in law, Beth, husband, Ezekiel and to my baby, Xander Lucas we'll be patronizing this hotel. Anyway there's always a room for improvement.

This is a really good hostel. It is near the South Bound Bus Terminal and most of the tourist attractions. The place is a value for money accomodation with clean rooms, good Wi-Fi, card payment service and in house restaurant.

Nice place, but the food, bed and the room not so good just ok.

I liked our stay at Kiwilodge Hotel! Very accessible to SM City Cebu where one can take jeepney or the My Bus that will take one to places where they want to go. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Our rooms are always kept clean. The free breakfast, however is not suitable for people who do not eat pork since they only offer 2 non-pork menus for free breakfast and since I'm allergic to mackerel, I consistently had corned beef for the duration of our stay there.

Nice hotel although rearrangement, rooms a little cheap if you don't put the price but overall still decent. Bar too expensive and restoration typified anglo-american cooked by the staff of the Philippines, therefore, limit inmangeable. A lot of white accompanied with local girls, wondering if this is not a place to pass. Nice for short stays.

We booked online but sadly our bookings never confirmed by the hotel. Luckily another room checked out and we were considered walk-ins. Its the same as the picture with the lobby but the room we got is not the same as advertise. But I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

The rooms are great! The exterior though does not look like a hotel but it's under renovation so I guess it's gonna look difeerent soon. An improvement in the food though would be great. But overall, nice place to stay in Cebu, staff are friendly and always smiling.

Ok rooms, with ok hotel staff, worth the money, but nothing more. Missing atmosphere in bar and restaurant, like in a warehouse.

Place is clean and very near SM City Cebu. Rooms are spacious My room's toilet has some issue but manageable. The staffs in the front desk are excellent, they very friendly.

Great Hotel could not speak highly enough of this place. Clean n tidy. Excellent polite staff. Good internet. Air cond. Beaut food. Oh and no booking fees is a big bonus.

It wasn't bad, don't drink the free "purified" water in the hallway unless you want Montezuma's revenge ;) also the free breakfast eggs are very undercooked. With any eggs in this country you should have well done. Because they typically are not refrigerated at all.

Quaint place, although not in a typical downtown area. This is also not a typical hotel but a cozy one located in an ordinary residential area. I like the architectural style. It also has a restaurant. There is a small commercial area nearby for condominium residents where one can find something for immediate needs.

The place is clean. Breakfast is good.

Good breakfast, large portions, the sausages are especially nice. Friendly staff. Coffee is an extra though…

It's accessible to other places such as the malls, embassy etc.

Place is simple yet with relaxing ambiance. Offers satisfying staff service. Menu pricing is too expensive though.

Improvement is being done and service is fairly well.
