Love it here, Very private rooms, super friendly staff and nothing is a problem. I had a beach side kitchenette which was cosy for my needs, Fan only, no aircom. The food I tried was nice and not too badly priced. My only negative is not being able to get Wi-Fi in the beach huts and can only connect in the Dining area which is a pain. All in all I would reccomend at least trying Casa de la Playa if coming to Siquior.

Walk to beach, friendly, attentive, amazing views, good location. I would repeat there if I had to stay in Siquijor.

We absolutely loved it here, stayed in he cutest little hut right on the beach. This place will always be one we will remember as we got engaged on the beach under the most beautiful starry sky we have ever seen. Perfect location to relax and disconnect from your busy life. We are used to fans and cold water, so it didn’t bother us in the slightest, I personally find cold showers are the most refreshing is this kind of heat. Lovely and friendly staff. Food was ok, a little pricy, but what you can expect on a small island like Siquijor.

Loved it. The beach bungalow (Two storey place) we had was great. Very airy, fan was enough during the night. The beach was pretty much on the door step. On the west coast, perfect for sunsets. The night was so clear, have never seen a sky so clear and starry in my life. Got lucky and saw a few shooting stars. Highly recommend Siquijor and casa de la playa.

My husband and I love this hotel managed personally by Mrs. Emily and Mrs. Terry Casa de La Playa! And the pagoda Verde restaurant is by far the best on the Siquijor Ille! My husband and I felt very comfortable. And we have lighted ourselves. My husband initially weighed 130 kg, after two weeks 17 kg less:). Not yet Coca Cola! The many movements like swimming and running and Sun and food, a dream! We both ate healthily for two weeks! The great chef of restaurant pagoda Verde can really do magic with vegetables: even my husband has voluntarily eaten a lot of vegetables at PAGODA VERDE. Thanks for everything. We like to come back. Awesome place! have been there for a week only in feb 2018 but recovered well and miss that place :)! great beaches and nature is breathtaking beautiful. Food is good too and maybe one of the reasons why I love it so much! need to be back asap and siquijor island and this casa de la playa my benchmark hotel in asia. Maybe not a luxury resort but very familar and staff is caring for us so much. Will tell it to my friends and recommend this resort to all people in my surrounding! will be back probably in july with my kids!

Hello guys, I wanted to tell you about our experiences in this cute beach hotel: We were one month in the Philippines and from 29 December 2017 for a week on the island of Siquijor and at the Casa de La Playa, had accidentally heard of this beautiful house. Stay really great, especially the kitchen convinced us (both are vegetarian on the way) and have cooked us deliciously. Which is also great: the huts right on the secluded beach. Our hut was called Casa Blanca, a dream of the location but simply ausgesatttet, including no hot shower. And attention: Every now and then you have to be careful, beach shoes should already be be there, they have there in the sea of stars up to sea urchins everything to animals. Ebb and flow are great, at low tide we ran out a few hundred meters. Super quiet environment. But Internet is weak and a party stronghold is dat also nich. But we felt very good, read a lot and borrowed our scooters (highly recommended) and explored the island in two days. The staff was very helpful. All speak English + also help with luggage:)!

Great place to relax on the beach. They have nice restaurant here and the bamboo houses are awesome.

Casa is a very beautiful resort run by lovely people who really care for their guests. The cottages are great and directly at the seafront. Tasty food, also for vegetarians, which is quite rare on Philippines. The island Siquijor is probably one of the most interesting islands on Philippines with only little tourism so far.
Conclusion: Casa is a must-go when you're on Philippines!

Great experience being a guest here. We visited the hotel beach house by recommendation and that was a great idea to spend a few days here. The beach is fantastic, but there are some disadvantages, such as high and low tide. And you definitely need shower shoes, because sea urchins and other animals swimming around. But our two children loved it. The food is great The staff in the hotel is very nice and also for children really nice. We will gladly recommend the hotel, because can not relax better! Thank you for five wonderful days!

Super: Garden, staff, Reef (Coral sensational! ), both bosses, help with questions/organization, hammock on the terrace, sunset on the doorstep fully OK: Bungalow ina old but romantic and great location improve: Kitchen can be very very high promises The menu does not always meet (but food is still good! ), boring music in the restaurant.

Nice beach hotel. Great place for honeymooners. Good restaurant. Far away from crowded places. Recovered well: vegetarian menu. Prices for dishes in ratio to quality fair. Very nice cottages, stayed for a week at Casa Blanca. Best hotel on Siquijor! Will be back soon.

I was in December 2017 for a few days in this nice hotel "Casa de la Playa" and I really enjoyed the days here before my return trip to the cold Germany, especially the absolutely quiet beach with lots of funny fish and small crabs have me and my Partner very much liked and well done. In the morning at 6 we observed 100te crabs, which dig into the beach cunningly when you get closer. What fun, haha!
What is not so good here: the arrival is a bit tedious and if you want to go out, you have to bet on one of the rental bikes or get a driver somewhere. There is no bar and no animation, but at least many books and games. Internet is available but not everywhere.
What is good here: we have covered the little cottage Casa Ida for three days and were completely happy about the fantastic terrace, which offered an unobstructed view of the sea. I would also like to mention the attentive staff, the excellent food and the Garden restaurant, which is located in the middle of a green palm belt. The best thing about this hidden Beach hotel is probably the location, far from all Remidemi and disturbing engine noises. Here you can really relax and we did that, we were sad when we were brought to Dumaguete and had to fly from there to Manila. We will definitely come back as soon as we have time again. Nice garden and beach resort. Far from all trouble. And close to the beach … Have been there for a few days in Jan 2018… and relaxed well. What counts there: beach is lonely but so lovely, … no crowds of people. Cottages are a little bit outmoded but endearing … and they have an effective mosquito protection! Staff are really cool and friendly, menue offers local and international and even healthy dishes and fish, all home-made. My wife and me LOVED IT! Will tell it to friends. Thank you guys!

What a beach and … yes … the Casa de la playa is an unique peaceful hotel! Me and my friend travelled for a while on the island (crowded San Juan or Siquijor), but when we found by a fortunate coincidence this sweet hotel in the calm north of Siquijor Island we decided to stay long. It's not a luxury resort, but what counts here is the long missed way of relaxation in the peace of the green garden, land which is only to be developed to a low level and Terrry (one of the owners) said: we will keep it for the future in this way… Reasons for our decision to spend our holidays here longer than it was scheduled:: — we rented the awesome cute cottage "CASA BLANCA" directly at the beach — at low-tide we could walk 150 or 200m till the surges of waves …, found many crabs, sea stars and other nice and strange marine animals — mostly we were the only guests at the natural but manicured beach — the garden restaurant offers excellent home-made dishes, economy-priced — very calm garden and very silent surrounding — superb friendly staff and even the owners take time for our wishes — we could recover well from our stressy life — motorbike rental (my friend rented a 200cc motocross motorbike, me a well maintained scooter) conclusion: perfect place for lovers and friends of the eco tourism.! The food is disgusting. Instead of cappuccino brought a mountain of cinnamon in a cup (in the photo), on the beach shallow, even in the tide you need to pierce a couple of kilometers on the stones to the waist hot would plunge. It is possible to take slippers on the reception for walking on stones. For an extra fee, of course. Rooms are not bad, there is everything you need, but in cabins without air conditioner there is no hot water. The nearest shop is a few km along the highway. You can rent a bike for 350 pesos/day. Surprisingly, the tank was full, which is not usually practiced here. The rights were asked, but not checked. Helmets are also issued.

Virtually beautiful place but really neglected. This place was (at least from words of person who been here) really beautiful 2 years ago. Now this place looks old. The boongalos are hardly maintained. The beach is dirty, to get to somehow deep water one should walk about 1km in knee shallow water full of sharp rocks, drifting logs and dirt. According to previous reviews the food is tasty… It's not. At least not the meat menu. Never tried vegetarian tho, could be better. Food preparation is really slow but this is something they warn you as soon as you land as, as they state, they prepare always only fresh food. The fan rooms have no hot water. Only air con rooms has heaters for water. Also it's swarming mosquitoes here tho rooms are provided with anti mosquito spiral Overall — good place for getaway for those who just want to sit in hammock and listen to the sea.

General, location: Great resort, away from the mainstream — tourism in absolute relaxation on the extremely beautiful northern half of the island. The gem is located in the middle of an impressive forest area with tropical vegetation right on the well-kept natural beach. Coast has ebb and flow: At low tide you can run out far. In the immediate vicinity are mangrove forests.
Where to stay: Our ' Casa ' impresses with its location with sea views. Through the garden, the sun falls with many colors, breathtaking! Good mattresses, cooking facilities with gas stove (very good! ) and refrigerator, effective mosquito repellent, internet partly a bit slow.
Restaurant: Excellent cuisine, homemade bread. I especially enjoyed the Christmas buffet, there was something for all tastes: Vegetables, fresh suckling pig, meat, in addition, the crew created a great Christmas party, we guests enjoyed the Christmas Eve 2017 very much!
Staff: The very friendly staff and Emily and Terry are always looking for the guests. So Terry also takes time to ride with hotel guests to the breathtaking sights of the island.

The accommodation was very good for relaxing. The staff very friendly and helpful. Food is recommended and requests are received. Very good address if you want to have it quieter.

No telephone line, no bells for room service. Our room is located remotely… if something happens, emergency response is not immediate. Children as early as 3 year old had an additional charge. Food is ordinary.

Best part is the food, especially the vegetarian menu. Rooms ok as well as beach. Service excellent.

Very simple beach houses with good to great view. Staff is friendly. 20 minutes from most everything. Beach has a lot of rocks so being water shoes. Restaurant has pretty good food although a bit over priced. Ask for motorbikes, snorkel gear or any other reservations at check in.

Good food and nice romantic place full of lanterns, shells and mirrors.
