Very accommodating and helpful staff. They took care of my parents (both seniors already) when I went island hopping ☺️🫰 Their restobar has good food also. I liked everything that we ordered (pizza, sisig, breakfast food, boodle food). My parents really enjoyed the boodle experience. A 3-day stay in Vela is too short. Will definitely be back 😊

Clean, provides good amenities and staff (Raymond) was very attentive and initiative by carrying the luggages for us. Hotel is near McDonald’s and just 20peso ride to the town. Massage is not in-house so I would recommend going to the town to get better massage prices. Just an incident we would like to highlight to other potential guest: the hotel had kindly arranged a group airport shuttle for us (driver will pick up other guest after us to head to the airport together). As we entered the van for the airport shuttle, the driver asked us if we would like to pay additional 500peso so that he will drive us directly to the airport without picking the other guest. We rejected that offer as we still have time before our flight. Later then we realized that there are no other guests that he was supposed to pick up after us but he just wanted us to pay additional money for no reason. The driver is not doing an honest business and would strongly advise guest to be more wary of such tricks.

We stayed here last May 29-31. Here are the pros and cons based on our experience. Pros: — Spacious room and large beds even for a standard room — Quiet location — Wifi works, sometimes slow but it’s understandable. — Staffs are very accomodating — We got the room for cheaper price on Agoda compared to direct price so it’s a steal — Nice view Cons: — You will do some hiking if you get standard rooms, too many stairways lol so better get a room downstairs Overall, we had a nice experience. Thank you Vela!

We booked two years ago at the beginning of the pandemic. We bought vouchers to support the hotel and Coron. We didn’t have any problems booking and re-booking. The best thing I can say about Vela is the service of the staff. They are genuinely helpful and polite. We had several communications with them because of the pandemic and all throughout those exchanges they really do their best to accommodate you. They helped us get service from the airport to the hotel. They always call a trike for us. The staff always greets you. If there’s one thing I could suggest is probably the options in their menu could be more budget-appropriate to the meal they are serving. We also enjoyed the scenery around. It’s very quiet here in Vela since it’s far from the crowd but it’s close to Mt. Tapyas if you plan to go there. There is a swimming pool you can use. We were able to do some decent 300m laps as morning exercise. Check out time is too early though 10am while check in is still 2pm. I wonder why it’s not the standard check out of 12pm. Other than that, I truly enjoyed my stay here at Vela. On my first day I slept almost 14 hours and the rest of the 4 days I was here I slept past 8 hours so that means I am really relaxed.

We had our wedding reception at Vela and we are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this place! From the accommodating staffs, relaxing ambiance, mouth-watering food and drinks on our wedding day prepared by Chef Eric and friendly approach by Ms. Nestlie. And oh, the pizza and pasta are superb! Thanks guys! ❤️

Rooom are soo humid and the smell is killing
No sunlights inside the rooms at all
For those who have asthma or allergy it s gonna be difficult …
For ur wet clothes there is no sunny place where to dry it Second
No elevator
For those who have rooms 400+ 500+ it s gonna be really tiring to reach the room after long day of tours Third if u dont like the room and u want to change it there is no rooms available!
So u are forced to like what they give till they manage to get for u a new one.

Highly recommended when staying in Coron Clean, accommodating staffs, Budget friendly for the room accommodation. And they also have their own generator when there is a power shortage! Great place.

I had an excellent stay. I misplaced my Iwatch and was found and returned to me. Thank you so much. As new tourists of Coron we have truly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere of Vela. Our 4 nights with free breakfast has been worth the stay. Easy access to the Coron town. Communication has been pleasant, they speak English and tagalog. Their service is very delightful. You can tell each personnel serves with gladness. We personally didn't choose a resort, because in comparison Vela Terraces has a well thought of up to date design. You can tell they had their guests in mind. I love the modern look and up to date rooms. We appreciate the cleanliness! I wish we came here after the completion of their newly built swimming pool, but it's exciting to know that before the end of the year they'll have one. That also means, in the future trips, we'll know where to stay.

Highly recommended hotel if you want to visit and explore Coron! They have good rooms and comfortable bed. The staff are all helpful and will always greet you with their genuine smiles. They always attend to your needs without any hesitation. The hotel is 3 minutes ride going to the town proper. They offer group and private tours as well. They have airport transfer and offer massage services too. Thank you very much to Sir John, Sir Marvin, Chef Lito and all the amazing staff who made our stay a comfortable and worthwhile one. By far the most accommodating/helpful hotel staff I’ve ever met. On top of that, the hotel itself is so nice, I just wanna stay there forever. Location is near the town, so it’s easy to go around 24/7. Hope to be back and stay at Vela Terraces on my next Coron trip. ❤️

Great place to stay in Coron. There are no views from the rooms or any other place and walking up and down a lot of stairs can become a chore but the place is well maintained and new. The food is great and I enjoyed the free breakfast. The rooms are big and clean and the aircon works well.

Would highly recommend this place… nothing to complain about. All staff are amazing… from the front desk to housekeeping, Chef, restaurant staff, Manager, Guard — they’re all friendly, helpful, and they’re all about your comfort. They treat you like family, will definitely come back here! I was craving for “tuyo” (dried fish) and the next morning, my cravings were satisfied. Chef Rener prepared daing specially for us. And he made my Mother’s Day extra special by preparing “boodle fight” for my family.

What we liked mainly was the location because it was really peaceful. We love to walk so its okay for us if there were no elevators! Also, we just walked going to nearby restaurants like Big Mamas, Lolo Nonoys, Kawayanan Grill and Pedro's Gelato. Regarding their rooms, it was clean, spacious and bed was comfortable. Food served during breakfast buffet had few choices but we loved the egg station though. In terms of staffs, they were friendly and accommodating of our concerns. Overall, our stay at Vela Terraces was superb! No problems encountered. Would recommend the place for a first timer who would like to go on vacation in Coron.

Spent 2 nights last feb 7 pros: staff were really nice, room were big and has comfortable bed cons: requires certain number of guest before they will serve buffet breakfast, restaurant closed by 9pm, Wi-Fi is only available at the restaurant, no elevator, a bit far from town.

The place is modern and clean. Impecable views of Coron bay and mountain side. Management and staff are polite and accomodating; typical authentic Filipino Hospitality. Hotel seems to be safe and secured. The number of rooms of this hotel is small which make it more friendly. Especially in their morning breakfast.

A clean comfy place with extra ordinary.

We certainly did enjoy our stay at your fabulous hotel. All employees were courteous, polite & always willing to assist with a big smile particularly Erwin. Also, many thanks to the lovely FO staff Justine who looked after our tours & travel requirements & recommended great restaurants in town which we did enjoy! The food at Manggis Restaurant are so delicious w/c is a proof of great Chef skills by Chef Mac who is also a cool and friendly Chef & made our stay even more enjoyable. We have already started promoting your hotel to our friends here in Ireland and hopefully we can give you more business in the future … keep up the good work and kudos to all the staff which is a testament of the great leadership & management by Sir John, the Hotel GM.

Staff was awesome and the owner, John, was very accommodating. The property is very clean and modern. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

This place is amazing! They have incredible hospitality and the place is beautiful. There are a lot of stairs hence the name terraces but it's so worth it. They serve breakfast every morning included in your stay which is delicious. They will help you with anything you need. They helped us get trikes, tours and scooters. Allan is the best! Trike driver! The staff is amazing and they went above and beyond. Coron is amazing and way better than El Nido. Coron is peaceful, beautiful and not crazy crowded. Enjoy! Stay at vela terraces!
