Look no further for a great dive shop and resort with the best food and service along the beach!
This team from the gals at reception to the dive crew, cleaning staff and restaurant staff go above and beyond to ensure a successful vacation!
We were blown away with the level of service from the entire team which makes this the best option by far. So accommodating all around.
Rooms are great, clean, fresh, hot showers and cooing air conditioning! We stayed in two different rooms for our stay and both are well worth the price! If you can, pool view is perfect as it is so spacious for an extended stay, mini fridge, and patio to relax on. Little view of the ocean and what’s happening on property.
The smaller room faces the back of the property but has a great air conditioning unit, bathroom and bed for a great rest for the next diving day.
Do include the breakfast! So many options and cook to order fresh daily! We tried several restaurants along the strip in town and found this to be our favorite with great dishes and variety!
The dive squad is filled with experienced staff to navigate the reef, find great creatures, and photo shoots. We asked for different places and they delivered!

Great beachfront diving resort in Sabang — away from the noise of nightlife but at a short walk to restaurants and bars.
The diving crew and staff are exceptional. They are welcoming and accommodating, treat you as a family.
Rooms are well — maintained and very clean, with good AC and hot water.
Highly recommend for divers of all ages and levels of experience.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Arkipelago Beach Resort from December 29, 2025, to January 4, 2026. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality.
Pedro, Amy, and their wonderful staff truly made my stay special. The resort is beautifully located with stunning beachfront views, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The accommodation is excellent value for money — the bed was incredibly comfortable and firm, and the toiletries provided were of high quality and plentiful. It’s the little things that make all the difference!
I always felt safe with their dive team. The diving equipment is top-notch, modern, and well-maintained, and receiving a clean, warm towel on the boat after a dive was a delightful touch. The staff made me feel like family, not just a guest. It’s no wonder that tourists return time and again to this resort.
The resort’s dive facilities are outstanding, and the opportunities to explore the underwater world were simply unforgettable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and highly recommend Arkipelago Beach Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

​Five stars for Arkipelago Dive and Resort! The all-inclusive stay made everything so stress-free, and the meals were fantastic. The diving experience was the highlight—huge thanks to the dive Guide Sir Jano/Nick/Kim for showing us the best of the reef. Clean rooms, friendly faces, and great vibes. Highly recommend!

Our boys (16 and 18) went diving here and they loved it. Amy and Pedro give you a big warm friendly welcome and really take care to ensure that you get the best experience. Joseph was their instructor and he was fantastic and so good with the boys. We highly recommend it and I wouldn't bother comparing or looking around as their prices are really fair. We thank them very much and look forward to visiting them again in the future. Great cafe/restaurant upstairs!

The resort is well run with a friendly, welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Food is super, and dive instructors are patient and professional — I had been worried about my son learning to dive, but after a couple of dives realised that he was in very good, safe and experienced hands indeed. Shout out to Joseph! The owners, Amy and Pedro, alongside their fabulous reception team were always on hand to help. We felt like we were part of their Arkipelago family, after only a couple of days. We have been exceptionally well-looked after here, and my diving has improved exponentially! Amongst the abundant aquatic life we saw an eagle ray, seahorses, puffer fish, millions of highly attractive slugs and several green sea turtles.

Amy and Pedro are fantastic! Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Our dive guide, Niko, was so great and made us feel super safe as newer divers. They’re l super conscious of proper reef care and preservation. ❤️❤️❤️ The restaurant is also delicious and accommodated my vegetarian diet. We’re definitely coming back!

Arkipelago Puerto Galera is honestly one of the best dive resorts I’ve ever stayed at. I did my AOW here and my instructor, Mox, really made sure I was confident and independent with all the skills. He was patient, clear, and made the whole experience fun.
The rooms were way better than I expected for the price, and the food was consistently good. But what really makes this place stand out is the service. The owners, divemasters, reception team, and wait staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made me feel like I was part of their family, not just another guest.
I also want to give a special thank you to Jhoey from reception. She really took care of me from the moment I was picked up, through check-in, and even up until I went home. She made me feel safe and looked after the whole time, and I really appreciate that.
I stayed for 4 days and did 9 dives, and honestly, I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I’m definitely coming back to do my Rescue course here. Highly recommend this place to anyone diving in Puerto Galera.

I had an amazing experience diving with Arkipelaga Divers in Puerto Galera. I was traveling alone and felt welcome from the moment I arrived. The team around Amy and Pedro creates a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes every dive day feel special. Jhoey was fantastic as well, always helpful and full of positive energy. 🍀❤️ The dives were well organized, safe and full of great moments. I would come back any time. Everything was perfect. My partner and I finished our Advanced Open Water certification here and wow… Amy and Pedro are not only incredible, their team of captains, instructors, guests, servers, housekeeping are so down to earth! They ensure you’re well taken care of here. They offer fun dives 4x a day and the reefs are so healthy and abundant here. Literally dove in the same place 3x and had a brand new experience each time.
Joseph our AOW instructor was super awesome and attentive with us (especially me and my buoyancy). He made us feel super confident and confortable in the water.
The guests were all so friendly and everyone was just such a good vibe.
Joey and MJ at the front are so on it. You’re well taken care of with those two.

Arkipelago is a fantastic place to stay and dive! The rooms are clean and quite nice. The food at the restaurant is good. The dive masters and dive instructors are top notch (thanks Joseph for leading our AOW course! ). MJ was fantastically helpful in organizing logistics. The food at the restaurant is good and also great value. And most of all, the people that work there were all fantastic and made us feel at home the entire stay. So much so we had to extend our stay by a few days!

Just spent a week at Arkipelago Dive Resort and I’m already planning my next trip back! Did 13 dives, took a photography course, and saw so many rare critters (even the mandarin fish right in front of the resort! ).
Amy took care of everything—ferry tickets, tuk-tuk rides, welcome drink, luggage… she made it all so easy. The dive team was amazing, super patient, and handled everything so I could just enjoy the dives. Huge shout-out to James for being an incredible guide and helping me improve my photography—he even lent me gear!
Beautiful white sandy beach, dive sites only minutes away, and world-class service. If you want great diving, great people, and zero stress, this is the place!

This review is only to praise the reservasion services of this place and the people behind the desk who truly make an effort to help their guests. The offer of diving resorts and packages in the area is overwhelming. During my very long research and after numerous emails and contacts I came across Arkipelago resort. Although I did not make a reservation due to change of my travelling plans I feel it's my duty to write this review as a minimal gesture of gratitude for the kind and exceptionally professional response from the lady at the reservation desk of this place.
Dear Joy, (Joy Marie A. Castillo), I cannot thank you enough for the efforts you put into accomodating me and my travel plans. I am very sorry it did not work out this time, and I am sure I will regret it, but now I know where to look for my next diving adventure in the Philippines. Thank you!

Hotel owned by an super nice America-philipino couple Amy and Pedro. We arrived and the hotel was full and busy, so we needed to wait longer to get our equipment set, but beside that everything was super smooth. Best things: the friendliness of all the staff, special mentioned to Chelle who nailed all our booking and logistics, Obeth for always having a smile and restaurant staff and cook for an amazing service and really good food, quantities and quality were perfect. Our dive master Marwin was very nice and pleasing plus love the fact that he was writing the names of the things we saw during the dives in his board. Rooms were super spacious and clean, hot water, toiletries and A/C, we stayed at pool level and it was great room, for us the mattress was kind of hard but besides that, we loved the room. They have an excellent price-quality relation. Located in front of the beach and just 5min walk to the center. We enjoyed very much out time and dives, we will definitely recommend it and if we can go back, we will do so!

This has been my best trip to Puerto Galera by far. The place is clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I arrived as a new diver, and diving with Arkipelago every day has really helped me improve my skills. The guides and instructors are patient, supportive, and very knowledgeable. I can’t wait to come back and dive with them again soon! ❤️

Fantastic family dive resort! Resort is located right in front of beach with clean and beautiful rooms. Location has delicious food, friendly/ helpful staff, and great diving.
Logistical help was provided before we arrived and also during our stay.
They really went the extra mile to make our stay and dives amazing.

Absolutely outstanding dive resort — can't recommend enough!
Arkipelago is easily my favourite dive resort in the Philippines, and I’ll 100% be returning. Whether you're an experienced diver or doing your first certification, this place delivers across the board.
✅ Top-quality service — I felt genuinely pampered the entire time. The dive guides are incredibly skilled and safety-focused, and the entire team is warm, professional, and helpful.
🌊 Amazing location — Some of the best dive sites are right in front of the resort, and others are just minutes away by boat.
🏡 Great accommodation — I stayed in one of the budget rooms and was still impressed: spacious, clean, great water pressure, comfy bed, and thoughtful touches like charging stations for all your diving tech.
I actually ended up here thanks to a recommendation from a diver in Mabini, who got me in touch with Amy at Arkipelago. And seriously — huge thanks to Amy who helped organise everything, from booking to transfers from Batangas. Her support, along with that of Pedro and James, made a big difference — whether it was advice, arranging a black water dive, or a trip to Verde Island. Nothing was too much trouble.
The only "con" is that it will take me something like 24 hours of travel to get there from Europe — but honestly, it’s going to be worth every second for the quality of service you get there.
If you’re diving in Puerto Galera and looking for a dive resort — stop searching. Arkipelago is the one.
