Nice place to relax to unwind stressful city life activities. Serene atmosphere. Good and sumptuous food. Perfect room with ocean view. Service crews are hospitable and accomodating.

Super recommended to all… Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Super great buffet food as well. Different kinds of menu each day. I've been here twice. 1st was 2010… then now 2022. The staff and location are great, as always. Love the bar as well. It's a great place for a vacation. The food needs improvement though, as it isn't as good as when I last visited a few years back. Also, had an issue with the shower drain in our room. Hope their on-going renovations will take care of those little things.

Exceptional Place and Great Service — a perfect place to chill, unwind and relax. From Airport to the resort and back, all of the staff are courteous, kind and friendly. Constantly taking care of our well-being. Rooms are spacious, cozy and well maintained. The food was superb and something we always look forward to. All in all, we definitely enjoyed our stay. Worth every penny. We will surely be back soon.

The place is very beautiful and relaxing … the foods were super delicious … but what make the experience great were the staff and crew … they always ask if they can be of help and made sure that our stay is superb … it maybe a bit pricey but the experience is excellent.

It was a fantastic experience to have our seminar, team building activities and social night in this resort. So relaxing not to forget the charming personnel who assisted our group from day 1. Special mention to Renan and Jollyvie and of course the ever accomodating Carmelie who had to check on us even in the wee hours of the morning. (got the 1st flight sked to davao) plus the food which was abudantly served to 20 pax but could actually cater to 40.

Twas the best holiday for me and my wife this year. All the staff were very attentive and sensitive to our needs. We stayed in samal house, everything was perfection. The food was very luscious and was’nt too pricey! The views and amenities were spectactular! Definitely a place to relax and rejuvinate! Kudos to all the staff and management PS: We had a 2 hour blissful massage at the spa.

This summer, its one of our bucketlist place to visit with my family and friends and we enjoyed it so much with its ambiance and the place itself. The staff were so accomodating and welcoming from the Parola until we reached to our room. We stayed at hilltop room and its really comfortable — the beds and the structural design of the room, installed with hot and cold shower, and has a nice view from the Malipano Island! The place was so great, seeing all the trees surrounding the place which is really nice for families and friends who wants to retract from the stress and hussle. Me and the adults availed the Happy Hour at Parola Bar, where we ordered drinks and paid 50% off! and it was also the best spot to witness the Sun Set. We booked our rooms during weekend and we witnessed a cultural show showcasing the traditions and culture of our mindanawon tribes and its really spectacular! One of the great nights thoo! The Food was really great which they serve filipino dishes and the staff in the Maranao restaurant were really welcoming — greeting us with their best smiles!. While we were enjoying food. And to top it all, the beach was really refreshing! — White sand beach and crystal clear water! My experience makes me want to come back and experience it all over again. The resort was really highly recommended tourist destination place here in mindanao because of its world class facilities.

The resort is quite pricey but the place is soo relaxing and secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The best experience at any resort. Every need met and exceeded. Resort grounds are immaculate. Staff is very nice and informed. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Infinity pool is nice to swim at night. Beach is clean and inviting. The food is very good also. Breakfast buffet has a large choice of just about everything including American and Filipino foods. Check in and out was very easy and did not take forever. Weather permitting there is boat transfer from landing in Davao to pearl farm landing. Will visit again. Would definitely recommend to friends, family. Good place from couples to family size to visit.

I would call Pearl Farm Resort — the aging beauty. The foundation is pretty solid, the foods and services impeccable. Very cheerful wait staff, but the bedroom we were at for $50.00 each two nights and bathroom were showing their use… needs updating. The views remain stunning.

Great beach and swimming pools. I was here only one night, but I liked the themed hotel rooms based on the tribes of Davao. Everything is kept up well. The highlight for me was their buffet style continental breakfast.

Super nice resort, ideal to chill and relax — all buildings in natural bamboo style — nice waters, unfortunately some plastic garbage floating in at high tide which staff is busy clearing — great food, buffet and drinks at very reasonable prices — super friendly staff — Wi-Fi at reception/restaurant/center pool There are a basketball and a tennis court on premise. For tennis, ask for Mr. Nelson as a partner to play with (local tennis pro) — enjoyed a lot playing with him.

Been in Pearl Farm March 2014… awesome experience… very nice place, nice foods. Excellent for a holiday with your love ones. My partner describe the place " Paradise".

This was the most wonderful place I ever been in Samal Island. The best services I ever experienced, and most of all, the food was so delicious. Keep up the good work Pearl Farm, I will be back soon after winter time :D.

Rooms and location are nice but the food and entertainment could be a lot better, quite boring of an evening.

Pricy but a great place to stay. Buffet dinner and breakfast is ❤❤❤. A great to to unwind… Infinity pool is amazing.

Make no mistake, this place is first class, really it is to Samal Island what the Marco Polo is to Davao City. This is a place where foreign and local VIPs come to chill out and the security on site is geared for this. To foreign eye such as my own it is all that you could wish for on a tropical desert island from the story books, especially if you have one of the cabins on stilts right on the water's edge. To reach this resort you have a pleasant boat ride which you catch at their pier which is located not far from the Insular Waterside Hotel but accessed by another road. It would also be possible to cross to Samal Island on the ferry and drive there but the last part of the drive is on unmade roads. A day visit is possible but they will not admit guests who just turn up on the site unannounced. The staff are invariably attentive and great efforts have been made as far as the food goes. The downside : The only thing that stops me giving this resort a five star rating is that on my visit the lock in our room did not function correctly and there were small areas in the room need of a lick of paint. To be fair though I understand that recently since my visit the whole resort has been extensively refurbished.

Absolutely beautiful, amazing staff to boot. My girlfriend and I spent 3 days at the Pearl Farm resort this past December and have nothing but high praise for the staff and facilities. We stayed in a room over the water, in a brand new room with amazing views of Davao Bay and the smaller resort island. All of the staff members were very courteous and accommodating. There are plenty of activities and amenities to keep you entertained and coming back for more.

First of all I'd like to say boracay is the best place to go in the philippines, I've been to Dos palmas private island resort 10, 000 php per night all inclusive and no extra fees that place was much nicer I would highly recommend boracay and Dos palmas located in palawan, this place is nice but way over priced and everything is extra charges I paid 16, 000 pesos for one night and 12, 000 more in adit iona charges, it was nice but not worth the money they charge. Enjoy.

Wasn't luck enough to stay over night, but this place was heaven. Great drinks, great food and take the boat to the other little islands and just hang out.

After terrible resorts on samal island I decided to come here. This place is world class. The staff is incredible. I loved how every request I had was met with a smile and no hessitation. After the bar closed and I ordered a bottle to go, the bartender was nice to go the extra mile and set up a bottle of wine by the beach for us. I love this place I plan on returning and I can't wait. This was a highlight on my 5 week trip to the Philippines. It is difficult to get to if you are already on Samal island, only transport is by motorcycle. If you are at Davao they have private transport directly to and from Pearl farm. I love this place so much.

My girlfriend and I had a great vacation in Davao, thanks to Pearl Farm for making it so memorable. They have friendly staffs and the breakfast/dinner buffets were worth it.

This resort was absolutely amazing! My wife and I went on our honeymoon and although it was expensive it was well worth the money. The staff and service were very accommodating. The beach was beautiful for swimming, snorkeling or just taking a stroll. I would suggest getting the package deal for the buffet. They offer something for everyone on their menu. We especially like the fact that it wasn't over crowded. There were day visitors but they only allow a small number at a time. There is an even more private island which is also a part of Pearl farm and we took the free boat there and discovered a handful of empty sandy beaches with peacocks. We were planning on staying one night but just had to stay a second night. We arrived by land after staying at a couple of other resorts but Pearl farm actually provide a free boat ride to and from the resort which made it easy to get back to the city. One of the highlights for us was renting some snorkel gear and feeding the fish. The fish would come in a frenzy of all different colors and eat the bread right out of your hand. Thanks again Pearl farm. We will be back the next time we visit the Philippines! Aaron and Arlene, Vancouver, Canada.
