Nice and clean room… accomodating staff, good location and friendly atmosphere.

I got 10 days quarantine in this hotel. I love service here. It seem 5 stars service. Room service, housekeeping, and receptionist are very great, polite and helpful.

This place is not a good place to stay. Staff are dishonest, unfriendly and do not care. They treat their guests like animals. The don’t feed them enough, especially those who get quarantined for 6-7 days. One meal will consist of 3 tiny pieces of meat, a cup of soup and a cup of rice. That’s it. They don’t care if you go hungry. And if you order from outside, they will charge you corkage fee. What a drag. This is the worse hotel, ever.

Staff are all nice. Its just that they serve cold food. Roast beef but served cold?

We always stay here at Berjaya Hotel, and I really love their room, the hotel staff is very friendly and ready to assist you…
Their price rate is also good that’s why I recommend the Berjaya Hotel to all my relatives from USA…

First time to use Berjaya Hotel for my daughter Hannah and Aunt Lida’s Birthday Celebration! Dj is awesome, he made sure the food, the venue, the table and chairs are all presentable! He gave me assurance that the party venue will exceed my expectations… oh my, I couldn’t be happier! I’m from the US, so of course trying something new for the first time is kindda risky… I assure you if Dj is the person who will be in charge… you won’t be disappointed!
The food is good and the venue looked awesome and very clean! Happy guests so of course I’m super happy of the outcome… thanks to Dj, for making the party venue and food excellent! All the staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are well presented and clean, everything is within walking distance.

Worst hotel experience, no parking space! To add to that, we were charge initially 1900 pesos for the blood stained (which is normal because I have my monthly period). Its not even specified on the registration form the amount of fee to be charge in such incident. The front desk, Claire Provencio called the housekeeping and they are the one to decide on how much we should pay, they even said to provide discount DAW of 200 pesos. Very hassle conversation. They cant even explained how they come up with such large fees for the cleaning. If they need to bleach disinfect it, I understand. But will that sum up to 1900 pesos? I doubt. I ask for the manager, and this Cheyenne Laneza cant even explain properly. We’ve been to different hotels, both low end and high end in the country and even abroad. But this is the first time we’ve had this incident. Worst hotel and customer service. Dont book on this hotel. Personnels are very unprofessional and not well trained. Dissappointed. God bless!

Never again. From 11: pm up to now these foreigners have been making a ruckus outside their rooms just across mine. I have chased them out of the hallway to go back to their rooms Very poor security at Berjaya These two rooms of foreigners were sitting in the hallway making so much noise that I had to call the security ag 11 pm and 2 am again And by the way, when I booked I specifically asked for a queen bed. Upon checking in I was told that they only have two single beds The guy at the front desk would not budge and insist that I take the two single beds. When I told him I am not leaving the front desk till u give me the room I booked for. Then Suddenly there was a specific room that was available.

It is a Malaysian inspired hotel, great and superb staff, all accommodating and warm, it's clean, I did not see any cockroaches, not even in dining. Their swimming pool is covered so I like it, their food is well presented and very delicious, they dont serve pork however all their food are delicious, I like their pinakbet, kaldereta and spring rolls. Over all I give them 10 stars if that's the highest❤️

Its old, its rundown and the standard of food is pretty ordinary. They always have a great singer and band in the lobby. Its best days are behind it. It needs a complete renovation and pest treatment. Its a cheap place to stay but the staff try hard and if you can get a room cheaply its a relaxing place.

Old glory but it needs immediately renovation and upgrade… Prices must be according to money value balance! Friendly and fine personnel though :)

A very affordable and convenient hotel where you pay for a spacious room of 31 sqm for the price of a much smaller room in the same vicinity. Room is generally clean and well kept. Concierge a d security personnel are friendly and helpful.

Room was spacious, but smell of cigarette smoke all over the room even on our clothes. We booked non smoking room 3 weeks in advance and when we arrived, they said that all the non smoking room were fully occupied. The building looked fancy from outside but the interior is very old. Staff were friendly tho.

A nice place to be at. Lively ambiance and location is perfect for roaming around. The food was good and the rooms were petite and comfortable.

Used the function room to participate in the campaign for federalism. The staff was kind enough to help me since I accidentally slammed my finger on the car door upon getting off, they helped me and guided me well. The food prepared for lunch was healthy and the rooms were relatively cold. The microphone wasn't functional the whole time which made for an annoying listening experience when the panelists had to talk. Though my stay was short I liked the experience but I can't say more than that.

The staffs are friendly and nice and the price of the hotel is reasonable enough. I've stayed here several times and the price of the hotel is reasonable. I hope that there will be some improvements on the toilet especially the flush and make some renovations as the hotel is quite old. But then again, I'm happy staying in the hotel.

My overall stay was good. I enjoyed the breakfast and the service upon request (we asked for 2 extra beds, pillows, few towels). I liked the simplicity of the room. It is a bit scary to get out of the tub after showering since it is slippery and the floor towel doesn't cover much floor area and can be easily pushed away from the tub without noticing. We, my organization, held a 2 day event in the Sevilla function room 4th floor. We had trouble with the audio a lot and the rightmost projector. Someone complained about the juice not being totally diluted, that person saw fragments of juice powder floating. I also saw 1 staff, who was bringing in and out food, sniffing as if they have a cold. But I really appreciate their service and work to help our event be a successful one. I was also glad to see Resident Manager Ms. Gladys Biala attend and pass by our event when she had the chance.

During my last visit, I was disappointed at the fact that nobody informed me about the ongoing renovation of the swimming pool. I feel, the guests should be made aware of such instances in future. However, I am a regular guest at Berjaya Makai Hotel and I must must mention that every time I have stayed there, my overall experience has been nothing short of fantastic. Good Luck.

I would like to give 5 out of 5 rating but few instance happened which I didn't expected. The first thing that guest only allow to have two water bottle a day which is not sufficient and in such a hot weather only 300 ML 2 water bottle isn't enough. I believe that's what I don't like about the hotel. Also once I had problem with my bathroom bath tub when water was full and it wasn't draining out. I had to call to maintenance to fix the same, it was fixed but it happened again next time. Apart from these other facilities was excellent.

The food here is so good that I ate here for lunch and dinner on the same day. HALLAL food is good. If you don't eat pork, SDAs, come here.

The staff were very polite. They remembered me staying there last year, and was very helpful. The security guards were polite and helpful as well in getting us taxis. Overall for the price I paid for and the amount of rooms that I got… it was worth it. Plus it is close to other restaurants and places to walk to.

Great service but sadly the hotel has seen better days. The amenities are not well kept and need refurbishing. It looks dark to me and will surely benefit from great lighting and natural lighting.

Hotel room is too old, I read those review as that is some newer room but I am yet to experience it yet. For my past two stayed all in old running down room. Hope I can get a better room on my coming stay or it will be my last stay at berjaya makati.

Nice place, Good restaurant, Good location, But the Staff was not much on Listening… I could ask the same Question 3 times… And get 3 different answers because they had no idea what I said… I asked the Restaurant Manager where the Restroom was and he replied… The front desk. Can help you with renting a room… And on from there… This happened so many times … My room was ok… Old linens on the bed. Dated furniture with repairs needed… you get the drift… Its ok… Aloha.

Great location in the middle of Makati Vergnügungviertel. Eating out in the area hotel with pool, massage, smoking or non-smoking rooms. Breakfast plentiful and good.

The place is fair enough for travelers to have a decent place to stay. I only suggestion is that it about time that the place undergo some renovation and overall cleaning, some facilities are already old especially elevators that needs to be upgraded to a better and faster model.

I always stay here. Nice place. Good food. The location is great, near two malls and many convenience stores nearby. Lots of money changers and banks close by. There is also a lot of entertainment in the area like Burgos Street and Hott Asia. One of the few places you can get a king sized bed or a suite for less than US$75. Gym is a little old and useless. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have a great chef who makes Vegetarian food and have a good selection of Indian and vegetarian food on the menu. The lobby has live music and entertainment every evening.

Loved the breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great place to stay. I would definitely stay there again.

It is a 3star hotel with Malaysian ownership. Have various properties in different places. Foods are all halal and deliciously cooked by well trained & experienced Cook! I really enjoy the buffet breakfast and their dinner. Foods are cook after you order! Really exciting!

Hotel room are dated but not bad. Few issues with the bathroom plumbing and housekeeping, I had to keep asking for hand towels or they didn't change the beddings. Service is good, except in the downstairs lounge/bar. Servers assumes that the rest of my change, if paying cash, is theirs to keep. Not a good practice. Anyway, will really think twice before considering your hotel again next year especially I'M hotel, and other hotels, across the street finally opened.

It was a last minute booking made the day of my stay. Very mixed feelings about this hotel. The good: My room was large enough and the beds, pillows, and linens were comfortable. I slept very well. The bathroom wasn’t cramped at all. The breakfast buffet was worth the P300++. They had a good spread of Filipino/Asian, Indian/vegetarian, and western selections as well as a cold station, soup station, and bread station. The bad: Being a smoker, I requested and got a smoking room. There were cigarette burns all over the carpet. Very much unlike smoking rooms in other hotels I’ve stayed in. The bathtub also drained very slowly. The 5th floor gym was very sparsely furnished. I’d have gone to my own gym if only I’d been able to take my car. The ugly: Very VERY limited parking. And the staff was unapologetic about it. Offering no suggestions or solutions. I was literally trapped in the hotel the duration of my stay. Thanks goodness century mall is walking distance. Final thoughts: I suggested to management to be transparent about the parking situation on the website. If you have a car, avoid this hotel at all costs. Such a shame about the parking situation since my stay was comfortable enough. I will not stay here again.

Very basic hotel kind of a rundown. You get what you pay for. The only place you can get some Indian dishes and vegetation food that is edible. The people are friendly. You have a shopping complex and food outlets around. Just bear with the hot shower as at times it might not be hot enough…

Basic hotel, above average. Reasonable, clean, friendly staff. Central location with taxis available. Would stay again. This is my second stay there.

I like staying here because staff are friendly, rooms are clean even toilet and bath which my daughter like the most. I love the food.

Friendly staff. The decor is a bit dated, and the towels I got were old, but the bedding and furniture was comfortable and the room was large. This is a great value of a place to stay in Makati and right in the middle of it all. Im guessing their prices will only go up as they update the hotel.

• The lifts are horribly bad and needs immediate replacement. The endless wait in the morning hours made it really irritating experience sometimes • I was staying in the 16th floor and the furniture in the rooms are pretty outdated. Carpets are smelly and the moment you switch on the air conditioner in the room, the smell starts getting stronger. Need to replace the carpets in the room and the corridor as well as the furniture in the room • The flush in the room was old and I had to flush 4-5 times every time to clear the waste • Breakfast – again the air circulation there is pretty limited and the smell of fried eggs and other food stuff was strong Overall I feel the hotel appears quite old and needs immediate renovation on many aspects, to make the stay anywhere near comfortable and pleasant. I am afraid that I would have to pass this feedback to my office administration and will be asking them to find alternative options for the stay of our colleagues, go forward. Don’t think we will be revisiting Berjaya anytime soon, till you folks complete the renovations.

Breakfast staff, Room Service Staff and Reception staff were all excellent except for reception clerk who checked me in on arrival. She did not give us our breakfast vouchers and therefore we did not get breakfast on our first morning there. Your gym could do with some more exercise machines, only one walking machine ans we could not get it to work. Your pool is very nice but would be even nicer if water was heated.

Rooms are fine both times I stayed. What is wrong with your elevator system though? Both visits only 1 or 2 elevators are working and its really a pain to wait so long with slow elevators. I hope on my next visit it will be fixed or it will be my last stay at your hotel.

Rooms are dated. There was a live concert going on outside and you could hear it in your room. The elevators are sooo old & pathetic. It did not stop on the floor where my room was so I was take for a round trip ride from top to bottom until a bell service assisted me. Parking is definitely the worst I have been to because of it's tight space and dingy looking. However, their only saving factor is the good food and comfortable bed.

For the price not bad. Front desk and doormen and security staff are generally friendly and attentive. Staff here even greet me by name! Security here seems very good. One of the reasons I have stayed here many times. Not all rooms have been remodled and updated and on occasion there are some minor maintenance issues. However, they will try to deal with any significant problems and will even move you to a different room if necessary. Higher floors are best. If on a lower floor you might want to avoid the side that faces the nearby food court since the live band can be a bit noisy. That same outdoor food court has good cheap food and drinks and a free live band. Nearby large supermarket and lots of 24 hour restaurants in the area are a plus too.

Value for money very reasonable rate for online booking. Nice ambience in the room. You get Indian Vegetarian food. Only problem they just give 2 of 350 ml water for whole day in Double Delux studio room.

I'm on my way to the comfort room and a chef left their kitchen door open and I saw how disgusting the kitchen is! I was capable of smelling the stink, pretty much how a stagnant water smell like. Some chefs aren't wearing either a hairnet/ toque or even a cap. I was done going to the comfort room and the door is still open and a staff was making a salad with their bare hands, they didn't even bothered using a hand gloves. After seeing their icky actions in the kitchen, I've decided not to finish my food. I wonder what other disgusting things they do with their guest's food. —. —

Elevator sucks! We waited 1 and a half hours going up at 20th floor. When we finally had our chance to get in, elevator malfunctioned. Supposedly, it should go up, but as it reached 10th floor (we were from the 4th floor), it went down hastily to 6th floor, went up again at 8th floor, backed down again at 6th floor, then to 5th floor. We forced opening the doors of the elevator by consistently pressing on the buttons. We opted to just use the stairs going up to 20th floor! Can you imagine? But it doesn't end there. The next day when we are about to check out, we waited for another hour waiting for that same elevator that malfunctioned! We were in fear as we wait, but we don't have an option, all other elevators aren't working! We called the front desk to help us use the service elevator, after 30 minutes and four follow ups, someone fetch us from the 20th floor. We complained about it, and it seemed as if they already know about the issue but are not doing anything about it. Even the foreign nationals I found there at the frontdesk were also complaining for they also had experienced waiting for so long, but ended up using the stairs just to get down. It's our first time to have an event there, and definitely will be the last.

So so for Makati. 3 * experience at best. Staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel is old and tired.

Good Service: Accommodation and Food but not strategically located for commuters (you need to walk or ride a taxi, no jeepney available)

We did an advanced booking, paid for a king size bed, and called them many times to tell them that we wanted a king size, but unfortunately at the end we did not get the bed that we wanted. It was so disappointing because they promised us via phone that they will give us what we wanted. It was not worth what we paid for. Moreover, in the room that my husband and I stayed in, the bathtub's drain was clogged and it ended up flooding the bathroom.

Cheap hotel, that's about the only good thing about this place. There were no towels in the room, the bathtub doesn't drain and the AC doesn't keep the room cool. The bed was hard too. If your cheap then this is the hotel for you.

Lalo na ung silahis na RECEPTIONIST bastos at wlang galang nanghuhusga agad. Sana man lng mgtanung muna at nkakasakit din xa ng loob at damdamin.

Hotel needs to be renovated. It is cheap bec it had poor lightning, sheets have stains, beds are itchy, elevators are old and the carpet/chairs look dirty.

The team is really nice, breakfast not particularly impressive, there is a pool and a gym. Great location I looking for nightlife very central. Not particularly romantic.

Nothing but Wi-Fi problems for my entire stay of 4 days. This prevented me from doing work and nobody seemed to care about the issue too much. The male receptionist wasn't overly helpful, just wanted to throw information at me and forget about me. The tour guide help was useless to me. Food & room was good and is in a good location within the city.

I used to stay at Berjaya Makati every time I got a chance to travel to Philippines. On first stay I appreciate how the employees take care and do the service. But on my second stay I got disappointed with the lady receptionist. When I asked for another key for my wife. She charged me 500 pesos for the key. First I ever charged for extra key But when I checked my statement it was not mention on it. Too late I am already at the airport when I realized about the statement. Hopefully it will not happen to other foreign guests. Thanking you. O Albdulhadi.
