Reviews of D'Mariners Inn Hotel 2*
You need two rides from the Batangas bus terminal to the hotel by jeepney and then a motorcab (we paid 20php/person to the hotel). The staff is good, you would use the stairs since there is no elevator but the rooms are clean and comfy, there are windows in both rooms and that's good (this is just a personal preference). The place is peaceful, the restaurant near buy is just across the road, they offer Filipino cuisine. Breakfast is okay and I like that they cover it with a plastic sheet since we came down late. And I also like the fact that they do call you once breakfast is ready at the dining hall. Toiletries are also provided which is a plus. From there you could go to the SM mall by jeepney or ride a motorcab to the Batangas pier.
It's a budget hotel so it's bare necessities, no storage or shelf for clothes. No kettle, cups etc but are given on request. Maybe the hotel can offer a kettle to rent for tourists who like a tea or coffee. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
