Had a memorable experience in this hotel. All the staff are really accommodating. They will always greet you with a smile. Food was really delicious. Must try the Binagoongan baboy and lechon kawali. We will definitely return to this place in the future. Kudo’s to the supervisor, he is really hands in to his guests and also to the bartender “Kuya Dave”.

Their Wi-Fi is do slow and I encountered power fluctuations but the staff are really nice. So I would still recommend them.

This has been by far the best hotel that I've stayed in in the PH. Thankful for the room upgrade by the management. Your food, room, accommodation and staff are perfect! Looking forward to coming back!

Great service! Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Rooms were cleaned daily, staff were polite. Was quite worried because the reviews said the Wi-Fi was bad, but it was actually okay. A bit far from the town but transportation was easy as there are tricycles in the area. Great value for money.

Awful. Service and extremely arrogant management. They messed up our booking and left us stranded. They refused to pay for their mistakes Thankfully my bank have been contacted.

Don't go here. This hotel caused us financial loss and suffering and then Amado the manager came to my room and abused us. He had my partner in tears. I have contacted my bank and the Tourism office. Next is the police. An adequate response takes time.

Although its a bit far from city center, its worth the hassle. Rooms are spacious and CLEAN, which was one of most important factors. Room cleaning was done every day. It has a nice big pool and amazing view of mountains and nature. Food in restaurant was okay, not great but not bad as well. Overall would give 8/10

We had a wonderful stay with you all and can not wait to come back to coron! our driver Drex was absolutely amazing and we reccomend him for your tour around coron! He made sure that we had the time of our life, the hotel staff are very friendly and very accommodating! Only criticism I can leave is that the water pressure during the busy hours are not best but don't let that slow you down because the pool is right outside and it's perfect place to wait and lounge around. Filipino breakfast was also a 5 star!

Great hotel experience over the duration of our stay, The room that we had was perfect in and out, spacious, always kept clean by the housekeeping team. Pool area was amazing very relaxing and not crowded. I highly recommend Westown Lagoon. Just a piece of advice if you wanna enjoy your holidays stop whining on how expensive things are here in Coron you should expect that its a tourist hub! ✌

Yes its very nice hotel… my boyfriend said that the shower is most beautiful when he had been more time in the philippines… The room is big and comfortable… Then the staff are friendly, helpful no need to ask help … All I can say they have a good service… and also the food are very good taste.

I would definitely choose MO2 westown lagoon-coron again if babalik kami sa Coron. They are very accommodating and polite. Thank you so much! You have the best amenities and people. ☺

We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. Highly recommended if you want a quite and clean place to stay (very very peaceful), though its a bit far from Coron town proper. Pros:

We really enjoy our stay here for 4 days! The staffs are very kind and accommodating. Rooms are spacious, nice and clean and I really love the ambiance in the pool area. And also the food is great and worth the price. Such a great experience.

We travelled here as a couple, first impressions were of the staff, they were super friendly, effective and just a pleasure to interact with all the time. The resort is comfortably located outside of the main town and enjoys much more silence than most resorts in the philippines, you can easily get around from here via the trikes parked outside or driving by, PPC's or the motorcycle rental shop right across the road. The rooms are high standard, clean and modern, pool is nice and also clean and their outdoor area/bar is quite nice, balconies are a joy to dine from and not only because they are great, but the food was also fantastic, quick roomservice whom came back twice without delay as someone had messed up our order a little, great service there. Only thing that stops me from 5 stars is the Wi-Fi, its pretty bad, you have to pay 100 php per day, per device for it, and it barely works plus the phone signal isn't too great, practically non existant in your room, not the resorts fault of course, but knowing this the resort should turn their attention to repairing the Wi-Fi. Would come again.

Cozy feel. Great place to relax. We were traveling with our 3-year old kid and she enjoyed the pool vert much. The rooms were clean and smelled good. The staff were courteous and helpful.

The place was good all and all except for customer service they wont bring you soap or anything complimentary they only bring things that costs you they only care about profit. The Wi-Fi costs money and it's still bad. Pick a different hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel. I was here Feb 2017 and booked 3 rooms through Agoda. One of the rooms was the "Barkada Room" which is good for I think 7-8 people. The price is not bad once you split it up. The rooms and bathrooms seem to be new (or newly updated), clean and spacious. The hotel is not a beach front property, which I don't mind considering we are outside island hopping all day anyway. They also offer massages or you can bask in their beautiful pool to relax, which is a nice way to end the day.

So cute! And oh boy they have a fridge inside which is a bonus to keep my drinks fresh and cold. They have a balcony outside of the room although tiny it is still a good breather from the bedroom.

Recommendable. Nice and clean rooms and a beautiful pool. Breakfasts typical of the Philippines — not too tasty. Located about 10-15 minutes (tricycle) from the center of Coron. The cost of tricycke trip — 100 pesos, so you can ride :) I definitely recommend to order a transfer to the airport in the hotel. It's better not to take a transfer from the city (they did not come for us).

Definitely a recommendable hotel to stay in when in Coron! Beautiful, comfortable, clean, and well-equipped rooms, very accommodating staff, especially at the restobar and the bellboy who took our luggage to our room. The food at the resto was really good, too, and we didn't have to constantly travel to the town center to eat meals. The surrounding has a peaceful and very relaxing ambiance and our room was fortunate enough to be near the facilities, whether it be the pool, fr…ont desk, or restobar. We will definitely book a room here again if we ever return to Coron or visit anyplace where MO2 Westown Lagoon has a hotel nearby. The few negative feedback I have would be:
• Some (not all) of the shuttle drivers are a bit speedy and careless, especially since the road from the airport to the hotel aren't all made of concrete yet.
• The receptionists doesn't have a very welcoming and approachable character compared to other staff and they don't promptly answer phone calls at the front desk.
• The swimming pool isn't crystal clear, although they are still quite clean.
• Contacting the hotel to inquire or confirm booking is next to impossible, whether by phone call, e-mail, or Facebook messages.

Room is lovely, clean and big! The only problem is the location is a little off the town area but lucky me I rent a bike just opposite the hotel. So it Wasn’t that bad for me! The only problem I had ya the F&B. Not much option and the breakfast is from the ala carte menu. So please do take note of that! Overall I will be back cause of the room.

MO2 Westown Lagoon was not my first choice of hotel when we planned to go to Coron with my husband to celebrate our yearly anniversary. Surprisingly we were amazed with the services, the cleanliness and the courteousness of the hotel staff. It was a bit far from the city but we didn't mind as we prefer the calmness and quietness of the place. I was really impressed when the restaurant staff prepared our breakfast at 5 in the morning! because we had an island tour early that day. We stayed four nights five days and we really enjoyed the place. I wouldn't mind going back with our kids the next time around. You deserve a pat in the back!

If you book on here and can't make it, you will get NO REFUND. Be aware ferries are often cancelled or delayed due to bad weather. A typhoon meant the boat from El Nido was cancelled 2 days in a row and the hotel made no effort to refund or provide anything to make up for the 2x lost nights (such as provide complementary free airport transfer or meals etc). Instead they took the money and probably had people stuck there from the ferries pay as well and take double for my room. Aside from that rooms were OK and the facilities good (nice pool). Location was disappointing though (far from anything interesting), the Wi-Fi is next to useless and the food available from the restaurant/bar is awful. The "vegetable soup" had disgusting little rotten fish and prawns in it. And there is no other options nearby… You could definitely find better for the money. And change the cancellation policy!

Rooms nice, service nice however everything very long. Everything lasts a little longer than it should. The hotel (or The outdoor area) is beautiful at first glance. On closer inspection, however, you probably don't see any skilled workers at work here. Screws stand out in part. Fut missing and much more. All in all, however, the stay was ok.

The room was very clean specious and lovely. The restaurant and bar was good. Staff are very professional and helpful. The only downside is the laundry service prices. If you have laundry try using another laundry service as I paid almost 2000 PHP for three sets of laundry use. Overall I loved the resort and highly recommend this resort.

We were very optimistic having read the reviews but we were extremely disappointed throughout our stay here. Upon arrival we met one of the many rude receptionists who lack basic customer service, we got a drink which was nice only a juice. The food in the restaurant is shocking, they literally gave me food poisoning. I went on a tour and was sick. I vomited on more than one occasion and this ruined my last two nights as I was in bed on the nicest days of the holiday. The staff in the restaurant just stand in the corner and stare at you and laugh between themselves which makes you feel very uncomfortable. Honestly there was not one staff member that I could say one nice thing about. They all appeared to be miserable. I wish we would’ve found altgrove (pizza&pasta) coron a few nights earlier as it was lovely food and maybe that way I wouldn’t of ended up in bed. Please do not stay here it will ruin your stay in Coron.

The room was nice, big and clean. The staff are friendly but lacks coordination. The food at the restaurant was good but expensive. And they didnt have buffet during breakfast. Maybe because it wasnt peak season. The water that comes out of the faucet is dirty not good for brushing teeth. Turned me off.

Pillows this is not even a five star hotel not like a five star hotels in Manila. My 2 son swims in the pool too much of chlorine gave them a red rashes and burned a bit of their eyes could not even open their eyes under water. The next day told them not to swim anymore my daughter's shirt was in black color it turned out to red coz of too much of a chlorine they added in the pool. Me and my family was very dissapointed we stayed 3 days and 3 nights. The 2nd night we had a family KTV at Westown we started at 9 p. M and suppose to finish at 12 according to the front desk for 3 hrs. How did it turned out in their system I billed out at 10:50 which I pay my bills 10:30 and also finished up KTV according to them 10:50 which we left the place 11:20 am watching the time computers can do mistake. The bills I was suppose to pay 6, 350.00 somthing I gave my 7, 000 I got my change back of 235 pesos. To make the story short I did not realize tht time coz everyone was bz leaving the place and I hav to entertained whoever is leaving. It was to late for me to know tht my change was not right. I complained the next night coz was bz all day bfore leaving Their Hotel the next day leaving for Manila. The manager and their boss was not very helpful instead the manager of the bar told me I should hav complain it asap as I leave the place.

Best place to stay in​ Coron, 5-10 min with tricycle from town! Not that expensive.

Very friendly staff. Reception is excellent and eat exquisite! Very clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast varied and plentiful. The only problem was the Wi-Fi not working has kept us isolated from family and friends far away, even if we knew that the Internet is a general problem in the island. But for the rest I would recommend this hotel and it was a very willingly.

Read the fine print. I booked and paid for 2 — 2 bedroom rooms 4 months prior to our stay. Upon arrival, they told me they only had queen rooms and would bring in a rollaway bed. If I would have known, I would have booked somewhere else.

If you're looking for a private and quiet place in coron, this is the place to be. Staff knows what customer service means. I won't recommend the pool — it's fully fortified with chlorine. You must try their sisig. It's the best sisig in the Philippines — I'm not exaggerating. I heard their chef is Ilonggo and it's also fun to watch them make your food. Thanks Westown Lagoon for this wonderful experience. I will definitely come back.
