Azalea Hotels & Residences Boracay

The rooms are lovely and the hotel is in a good location. However I would not stay here if you are a couple or you don't like a Philippines breakfast. The beds are very comfortable but very small. If you are okay not sharing it's fine. Breakfast was a big disappointment and really unappetising. Also the Wi-Fi is not the best and sometimes doesn't work. We were also woken up by reception calling us at 04.00 looking for someone I've never heard of. Definitely it's more suitable for families. It's also really noisy very early in the morning with people in the hall and in the restaurant. If you are a couple I think you won't enjoy it.

Excellent value for money for families of all sizes. The serviced apartment style rooms are a great touch with microwaves, water kettles, utensils and plates. Staff cleaning and turnover service is good with daily replacement of bottled water, toiletries and towels. Pool at roofdeck is also a good plus. Breakast buffet is decent as well. If I'm going to nitpick, the rooms may need to undergo a refresh as there are spots that are a bit dated/worn down but overall does not impact the stay experience. Location is also central which adds to its rep for repeat booking.

There was a consistent foul odor in several common areas, including the ground floor hallway, the dining hall, and even inside the room’s toilet and bath. During breakfast at the Kuya J restaurant, we observed poor hygiene practices, such as personnel refilling drinking water directly from the faucet. We were also alarmed to see a rat running inside the semi-open dining hall. These issues significantly affected our dining and overall comfort. On a positive note, the hotel staff were very accommodating, polite, and helpful throughout our stay.

Loved our stay at Azalea. Rooms are big, toiletries, new towels and water are provided everyday. Cooking is even allowed as long as the food is not too smelly. The also lend you towels when you go out for free. They also have slippers and laundry bags for each guest. The pool was also nice ang clean, many lounge chairs available. We felt our stay was too short. If we come back to Boracay, this will be the place I would choose again.

We had such a fun and relaxing family vacation at Azalea Beach Resort Boracay! The place was perfect for families — clean, spacious, and very close to the beach and restaurants. The kids loved the pool, and we all enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning (lots of choices for both adults and kids! ).
The staff were amazing — so friendly, patient, and always ready to help. They really made us feel at home. Our room was big enough for the whole family and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
We loved how convenient the location was, near the laundry area and market, it felt very safe for the kids too. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for our family. Highly recommend Azalea Beach Resort if you’re planning a Boracay trip with loved ones. We’ll definitely be back! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🌴☀️
PS: we extended our stay because of the typhoon and there’s no hassle at all when we rebooked our room.
PPS: everytime we request for room cleaning they changed everything and make sure refill what needs to be refill like coffee, and bathroom essentials. They make sure we feel at home that’s why we decided to extend our stay here.

We had a great stay at Azalea Hotels & Residences Boracay for 3 days and 2 nights. The staff were very accommodating and even let us check in early since we arrived on the island at 12 noon (regular check-in is at 2PM). We only waited about 10 minutes before getting our room.
We booked the 1-Bedroom King Suite with a sofa bed, which was perfect for 3 adults and 1 kid. The room also had a fully functioning kitchen, ideal for those who want to cook and save during their stay. On top of that, they have a great rooftop pool and a good breakfast buffet.
Overall, it was a nice experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back! 🌴✨

We had booked one of their bigger rooms for 6 people (we were 2 adults, 2 elderly and 2 kids), composed of 2 big rooms (one with its own bathroom), another bathroom, and kitchenette and a small lobby with a sofa bed that acted as our third bed for the kids. The room was really great and spacious. The sofa bed was a bit small however for our kids that are 12 and 15, but in the end it all worked out, they get along well and they slept good. That sofa bed is perfect for 2 smaller children.
Staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast at Kuya J (within the hotel) is very good — it’s a buffet with a mix of traditional Filipino food but there are also eggs, pancakes, toasts, juice/ice tea and coffee.
Pool is quite nice on the rooftop. It was not crowded when we went, so we enjoyed it a bit, when we wanted to just relax out of the beach area.
You need to walk about 5 minutes to get to the beach front. It’s an easy walk, but you can always ask one of the many tricycle drivers to bring you if you have mobility problems. Their fare is cheap. You are also very close to an ATM and a Budget Mart if you need supplies.
We enjoyed our stay and it was a good deal overall.

I had a pleasant stay here! The service was great—staff were attentive and friendly, making sure everything was taken care of. The room was fine, clean, and comfortable, with all the essentials. As for the location, it was okay—not the best, but convenient enough for getting around. Overall, a decent stay with good service!

Very accommodating staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. They change towels and bed sheets everyday. Breakfast food not so good. It's almost the same for our 3 days of stay. Hope they can improve the menu. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

It is clean and they have one of the best rooftop swimming pool in Boracay. I suggest getting the free breakfast buffet.

We enjoyed our stay at Azalea. Walking distance to the beach and its location is along the main road. There are also e-trike’s in front so it’s easier to travel if you need to. My only issue is the cleaning service, they only refill the toiletries and make the beds but not sure if they sweep the floor every cleaning and forgot to clear the trash bin on our 2nd day. But they are generous when it comes to refilling the toiletries and changing the towels daily. The free breakfast is provided by Kuya J’s restaurant inside the hotel. The food tastes good, but hopefully they improve their choices of food everyday. But all in all, we enjoyed our stay here. It’s quiet and the staff are approachable and professionals. They will allow you to borrow umbrellas (when raining) and beach towels too. So if you will stay here, you don’t need to bring towels. You can also borrow kitchen wares if you prefer to cook. Worth the money we spent. Recommended!

Great hotel for its 3-star rating. A bit lacking in amenities but the service is great. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, but lacks any real feeling of luxury.

I will recommend this hotel to my family on the next visit, very accommodating and pleasant 😊.
In terms of rooms we avail, 1 room with 2 bedrooms and 2 Bathroom. Big enough for 4 persons, with 3 big screen televisions.
Cleanliness, I really admire how consistent and neatly clean our rooms from bed to bathroom, kitchen and living room.
They will change the bath towel and face towel as well as the bed sheet and etc.
Daily supplies of dental kit, lotion, shampoos, conditioner and etc. As well as water bottles.
We stayed 5 days, with a breakfast buffet at Kuya Jays restaurant.
Location, station 2 walking distance to the beach and safe area.

It’s been a week since my family and I stayed on this hotel and all I can say is they gave us the best boracay experience that I could ever imagine. The rooms are very comfy, the breakfast buffet is decent for the room rate but what’s make this a good accommodation is the great customer service each staff has showed us. They never fail to greet and give you their warmest smile whenever you see them.
We arrived earlier than the check-in time but they managed to checked us in early due to our room is already available. (Early check ins are subject to availability guys! )
Will recommend this property to friends and family who’s planning to visit Boracay in the future. And YES! We’d definitely coming back.

Nice place to stay in Boracay although not a beachfront but the place is near to the road. Good for big family because they have 3 bedrooms. Friendly staff. Rooftop swimming pool is best at night. Buffet breakfast are usual but it can satisfy your stomach. I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

The hotel has a good location. 400 meters to the main beach, 600 meters to D‘Mall. But to walk in the strong rays of sun makes this a bad location, as the walkway has no cover. The hotel main entrance is from a tiny lane and the hotel backside faces the main road and they have no entrance from the main road. It would be nice if they open an access way for hotel guest from the back door so that one can come out straight into the main road. The hotel is an apartment hotel. The room initially assigned to us had red ants all over the kitchen counter table, upon request our room was changed to the new wing where the rooms are better well furnished. There is very less light in the room based on the size of 700 square feet. The bed was big and comfortable. The sofa cum-bed was not comfortable at all. Daily cleaning was very good by the housekeeping staff. The staff at the reception and guards on duty were all polite, friendly, smiling at all times. This hotel is value for money hotel. Most guests were domestic tourist or from Mainland China, there were no other foreigners at this hotel. This hotel caters to domestic tourist from Philippines and from China. The restaurant breakfast is the worst breakfast none can have. The selections are limited and the fruits are never fresh. There is nothing for vegetarians. The chef is rude and unaccomodating.

We stayed here Dec 01 — 04, 2023. Rooms are clean, staff were kind and accomodating. Our Travel Concierge — Mon, was very helpful. Swimming pool is great. They change towel baths everyday. Breakfast at Kuya Jay was ok, not great, but enough to keep you full on the day.
