Serenity Lodge

We booked our stay through AirBnb and the host was extremely helpful throughout our check in process and to plan our activities in Huacachina. We were able to check in an hour earlier and were allowed to remain within the premises until 9PM to catch our night bus!
The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The setting of the bed and breakfast is enchanting and very well maintained! Lastly, all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful:)
I would absolutely recommend staying here!

We stayed one night after visiting huacachina oasis. We walked back from there at sunset whish was very convenient. The staff WA super nice. The kids and I enjoyed the swimming pool after a nice hot day. Lots of animals: horses, dogs, cats, chickens with the later waking you up the next day :)
We tried the restaurant but we're not impressed. The breakfast was great.

This place is way more than 5 stars!
The name says it all! It you need a relaxing stay in Huacachina, or if you travel with kids, nothing better than Serenity!
We enjoyed our stay here, my kids were beyond excited to play with the animal farms and the dogs! I loved the beautiful garden and plants and seeing all the antiques. Thank you for offering a quiet stay just few minutes aways from Huacachina! Highly recommended:)

This place is lovely and peaceful! Clearly a lot of intention in creating it.
My only feedback is around the blue chemical toilet cleaning is horrible for the environment. I appreciate the efforts of sustainability they have made so I just want to point out these have damaging impacts on humanity.

Serenity Lodge is a hidden treasure I would definitely recommend to anyone. The property is a really nice rural old house, very calm in the midst of a more hectic city, and perfect to relax. The whole team is outstandingly nice and accomodating, and also happy to help you personalize your stay with a series of activities. 5 stars, and I will be coming back :)

We have just returned from our 2 night stay at Serenity Lodge. It was an amazing few days, staff were so friendly and the lodge was lovely and clean. We had the Suite and it was spotless. Oscar was great if we needed transport. We spent the day around the pool area too and it was lovely and relaxing. Thanks for a great stay. Aimee and Lee.

This place is incredible. Truly lives up to its name. Especially coming out of Lima, and travelling in hostels. It was such a welcome relaxing experience. The only thing I would say is that for the premium cost of food here the meals were often not very hot. Similarly there is no option to buy more than a small bottle of water, which is more quite a bit expensive than to buy at the market. But the premium cost equates to a truly serene in house experience. I would recommend buying water and snacks outside before coming, and trying out local restaurants for a lower cost.

From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome and Luis did a great job to show us around and answer all our questions. The place is like an oasis in the desert. The onsite restaurant is fantastic and highly recommend. Clean and had all the amenities we needed. We loved that it was as a little off the beaten track from Huacachina, where we did our sand skiing, I wish we had more time to enjoy the country house. Also, it is a cheap and short cab ride to Huacachina.

This family-owned and run hotel is a true gem. They organised two days full of activities for us with just one day of notice, so that we could make the most of our stay in Huacachina. There are also Inca antiquities at display that the staff will happily talk to you about. Overall we had a great time here.

I was a bit weary at first since this was listed as a hostel. However, I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Unlike most hostels, it was quiet and our family booked up half of the place. There were dogs and horses on the property, which always makes my stay better. The breakfast and service was great. Although I booked a double, they gave me a triple instead. The pool was nice and clean as well. The place is filled with lovely antiques which made it very charming.

This is a cute lodge, clean and basic. It has an interesting mini museum inside the property. Rooms are spacious and the bathrooms too! It has a lovely garden full with flowers.
Regarding the food, for dinner menu, frozen pizza was mainly the only option.
Mostly all options listed on the menu were not available at dinner time, 8pm. No traditional food. It was overpriced for a medium size frozen vegetarian pizza ($17 or S/. 64). The cheese seemed old. The bottle ‘descorche’ costs S/40, also pricy. Breakfast coffee is instant coffee. 🙀
Staff is friendly!

This is a great place to stay in Ica if you’re looking for somewhere more relaxing and comfortable than the hostels at Huacachina. The accommodations were very nice and the staff were excellent and extremely helpful. They assisted us in arranging taxis and various day trips.
We also enjoyed the delicious vegetarian options at the restaurant.

We had an exceptional experience at this hotel. The atmosphere was very personal, familial and the staff were incredibly friendly. They went above and beyond by accommodating our late check-in and even served us a meal at midnight. Their own agency for organizing excursions made our trip planning effortless. We would definitely return to this hotel without hesitation!

I saw some reviews that are not that good, because de placement of the hotel is creepy, or beacause the staff is not friendly. But we didn’t have this experience. The hotel look just like the photos! The staff was always there to make our experience better. I loved the fact that there is so much animals (chicken, horses, dogs! ) we really liked our experience at luchy’s.

We had a great stay at Luchys, all the staff are friendly and helpful! Mr Oscar provides a great bonus transport service which is helpful given you're a little out of town. The property is very beautiful and well maintained. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean as well as linens. Calm, quiet spot that makes for a great place to relax. Onsite restaurant has yummy food, breakfast is also good (basic but enough to keep you going). Would stay again.
