As far as hostels go, this is one of the best I’ve stayed in. Beds were comfortable, everything was insanely clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating with everything we needed. The building itself is super cool, it reminded me of the Winchester mansion (without the haunting), it’s like a cool little maze. Highly recommend staying here, if we come back to Cusco again, we would definitely stay again.
Nice quiet little place. Good location and easy to walk to the Plaza. We loved the decorations and it was the BEST shower we have had so far on our trip! The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

I can’t say enough about how amazing Recoleta is. I only planned to stay 2 nights before leaving for a trek but ended up getting sick and having to cancel the trek. I stayed in Recoleta for a little over a week and the place began to feel like home. The staff — Nieve, Janet, Liliana and Helen are so kind and helpful. They are beautiful ladies with amazing hearts for creating a peaceful and welcoming environment. The facilities are clean and I was comfortable in the shared dorm I started in as well as the private room I moved to once I got sick. The other guests are from all over the world and it’s pretty easy to get to know people over breakfast. Recoleta is outside of the city center so most restaurants only have locals in them and you are never heckled like you are in central lima. I also felt completely safe walking on the street even during the evening. I would highly recommend Recoleta!
