A long time back in 80s when I was a child I stayed in this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Still I remember the garden, canopy and daily going out on foot as Mall road is at walking distance. Again sone day I want to stay in this same hotel. It now looks bit different as it’s renovated but still it looks beautiful.

Travelbreed Pakistan recently organised a 2 days tour of galiyat region for a corporate client. Our group of 100 people stayed there for 2 days. It was an amazing experience. Everyone from the managers to the kitchen and support staff was really helping and did an amazing job. Highly recommended for groups and families.

It's a decent place to stay.
Near to mall road.

This is one of the best hotels we stayed in. Rooms are large with a sitting area with a couch. The room we stayed in was very, very clean and modern. The staff at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and professional. I will thank Waheed Sahib in particular that he had been a great help really. The lobby was nice and clean. Breakfast area was large. There were several kitchen staff members constantly monitoring the breakfast items. There was plenty for everyone, including tons of butter and jam. I definitely would stay at this hotel again.

It is a lovely place to stay in murree with beautiful land scape, well maintained building, hospitable staff and quality food stuff. We would love to visit Lockwood hotel again and shall recommend our relatives and friends to experience a stay atleast once during their visit to murree.

Had a wonderful stay there. Had initially planned to stay for a couple of days, but ended up staying a whole week. To get a feel of why it is recommended, well, you have to stay there and experience yourself. It's a success story.

Nice place to live in Murree. As compare to other hotels this hotel has a large area and less rooms. You can enjoy tranquility and calmness with your family even you are very near to mall road.

Expensive and not upgraded. Its all just the hype and marketing. Nothing special in the rooms. Even the place is very noisy and busy. The staff is ignorant and not trained compared to what they are charging.

Finest place to stay in Murree. The ambiance is superb. Rooms are very well maintained and room service is excellent. I had gone there to stay for just a couple of days, but extended my stay to 6 days only because of the reasons stated above and in addition to that, the place is so peaceful and relaxing. The staff is very well mannered and courteous. The place is a bit expensive though. Food is also fresh and delicious and cooked in the hotel's kitchen. Heating system is excellent and they use water geyser type radiator heaters which exclude the risks involved in the use of gas heaters. All in all, Lockwood is a must stay place. Full marks.

It is bit expensive from average hotels of Murree but I would stay here again I. A. Note: Room rates are not fixed. Please bargain to get good price. If you go in non-season, you will get cheaper rate. A friend of mine stayed for 5000 per night (breakfast excluded).

A really nice hotel for staying. Internal heating in winters is available. Room service is not up to mark and is not recommended.

Hotel Lockwood is probably the best accommodation in Murree. Perched at a high point besides the church, this hotel provides you with the British Raj era with its colonial style rooms and beautiful setting. Heating arrangements are superb as is supply of hot water even during freezing cold. Security is top notch and the staff is efficient and extremely courteous. The manager is very co-operative and helpful. I hate to go to the mall road because of the Tariq road type crowds and heavy rush, so we stayed away from it and spent a most relaxing and peaceful time during our stay at Lockwood. Everything on the menu is available from morning till midnight and everything is prepared fresh. The room rent is a bit on the expensive side, but its worth it. I had gone on a two days visit, but the mesmerizing experience forced me to extend my stay upto six days. All in all, it was the most memorable stay I had in murree, thanks to hotel lockwood.

One of the best vintage hotel of the muree with the finest views of the valley. The management and the staff of the hotel are very friendly and humbly. The rooms are decent in size with extra bed for kids as well. Heating facilities in winter is fear enough to keep you warm. You feel live in private vacation house due to its unique cottage style room clusters with lush green private lawn in summer and covered with thick layer of snow in winters. The food quality is also very good with lots of Option from continental to local cuisine.

Extremely polite and courteous people, who, many times, go out of their way to provide the best service to their guests. Food is top-notch, especially since it completely satisfies Karachiites' taste palette. They also have unexpectedly clean washrooms, with warm water.

We have stayed at Lockwood multiple times, and have always had the best experience. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious and always served on time. The rooms are comfortable, with great furnishing, cozy beds and running hot water. Lockwood's location is excellent, as Mall Road is just a short walk away for the travel enthusiasts, yet still provides a quiet environment as it is at some distance from the noisy hustle and bustle of the place. The ambiance of the hotel is absolutely beautiful, with the structures reflecting the historical beauty and heart of old Murree. It is absolutely the best place to stay at in Murree.

Lockwood Muree is the Amazing Hotel, very convenient place to stay with all the facility's, very near to the Mall, on top off all very quiet atmosphere, it's family Privacy Place.

Lovely hotel with old grandeur. Probably built in 1880. Few suggestions will raise its rating even further like modernising bathrooms with latest accessories, replacing used inelastic bed foams with spring mattresses.

It is a good place, the access is not that easy though but still it is neat and clean, especially the washrooms are really well kept. The staff is cooperative and helpful. Food supply is good. V near to the Mall rd.

Little bit Expensive, Not easily approachable by car. But it's very close to mall and rooms are awesome.

What makes the hotel so unique is it's location. The mall road is short walk away. Scenic views surround the hotel at every angle. The maintenance is of the highest quality. The building stands tall and erect like the olden decade. The rooms are sumptuous consisting of king sized beddings, soft pillows and linens, comfortable couches, large hallways & windows. The natural woods blend with the hotels delicious warm tones. Lush greenery siding with beautiful plantation meets the eye pleasantly. The ambiance is warm and family friendly. The staff is available 24/7 at your beck and call. The enclosed terraces are private enclave for the guests and host scrumptious meals;breakfast, luncheons and dinners with a side restaurant which serves delicious live BBQ. There are numerous facilities available. The Internet service (Wi-Fi), laundry and parking are up-to the mark. There is the value of money. I would definitely recommend it on your bucket list. The overall experience to stay at Lockwood hotel is a pure delight.

Situated in murree, this hotel provides a lot facilities to visitors to make their tour to murree a memorable one.

Amazing but costly. Doesn't have a good view but it's worth money.

Hospitable staff, delicious food, perfect stay with extraordinary facilities.

Not worth the price they charge. Rooms were not properly cleaned. Tables were dirty. There was gas smell all over the hotel. They claimed to be centrally heated but the heater was not properly working. Reception was very poor and when we called them about heating they delayed it, and when I strict the tone after 3-4 calls (within 2 hours) they provided substitute gas heater. The gas pipe of that gas heater was leaked and there was pungent gas smell in the room. When I complained about that, the reply was that this is the best they can do. Plant pots in the lobby were filled with cigarette butts and no one cares to clean them. The only good thing was that there was a constant supply of hot water in the bathroom. Overall not worth the money they charge, and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was expecting a bit better rooms and service for the money they charge. Breakfast is minimalist. Evening BBQ seemed more like forced duty for the workers. Wi fi didn't work. TV was all hazy with bad reception. They really need to fix and clean the kitchen.

Classic setting, good service.

This my third visit to lockwood writing this review from hotel room. I am really disappointed this time. Very poor service There is no 24 hour backup generator, old towels in the washroom the cable is not working plus there is no room fridge these are the basics things which one can expect in a hotel room.

When I first time visited mure in 1994 I stayed at this hotel lot of memories.

I think they can improve quite a bit. It is a old mine needs developing.
