Went for hi. Tea yesterday. It was pathetic hi. Tea ever. Most of the food was stale. Totally wasted of money. Chaat corner was all stale and smelly. I had there before n always had good experience but this time went after 2 yeras n qulity of food was not same as they were giving few years back. Never recommended anyone. Charging huge amount n giving bad food. Shame on you!

Very poor food. We were sitting at fanoos and we ordered Tiramisu sandwich and Tea and the funny part was that they served Tea in chipped teapot.

Nice active and friendly staff… We were picked up from the airport by the Hotel's shuttle service. No hustle faced. Rooms are tidy with efficient room services (though quite expensive)

Special thanks to Mr. Fakhar at check-in desk, Wonderful person. Overall it was a good stay. Renovated Gym is superb. Rooms need a little attention though I felt there was a little stale smell of carpet.

Nice business hotel with all standard amenities. Rooms are spacious & clean. Service staff is very helpful and professional. The hotel has 5 restaurants serving local Pakistani, Italian, Arabic, Chinese and continental cuisines and overall food quality is quite good. The lobby Cafe is open 24/7 and serves light snacks and beverages.

The duty manager at night was horrible. I was traveling with my mother, and he did not take that into consideration. I had asked for an extension, and he told me that I had to check out, clear my entire bill and only then he could help me. Even though, when I arrived, I had already mentioned that I will be extending my trip. He was rude, and I felt like I was staying there for free, and not paying for the room. On my last day, I had ordered room service, and they made my life a living hell, kept on asking for money even though I said that I will clear it once I am down in 15 minutes. This is unacceptable. I would never stay in this hotel again. The younger crew was much more understanding. I would suggest, you train your staff to be compassionate and respectful of females guests. Thank you.

Stayed there for 5 days. Good room but average food options and quality. Fruit basket had raw fruit to an extent that they could not be consumed. Value for money below average.

One of the better hotels in Karachi compared to the alternatives. It has a nice, tidy albeit small gym. The food is surprisingly good. I didn’t expect to eat one of my favorite room service pizzas in Pakistan. You may also try the local chicken biryani, however it may be spicier than you expect. Speaking about food, I had a minor issue at breakfast during my last stay. I don’t mind people eating with their hands, however when picking food from the open buffet at breakfast, it is annoying to see people handle the parathas that you plan to eat and put them back in the tray when there are utensils to pick it with. Also there were restaurant staff around, but they didn’t mind warning about this issue.

Hotel has decent facilities but constant weddings can be a nuisance to guests. The valet parking manager lost some car keys the last time we were there and let's just say it wasn't a pleasant experience. Need to get their priorities right.

Move & Pick Karachi is one of the finest hotel. My stay was awesome. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Karachi as its feel like home :)

Very old building. 20 to 30 minutes to airport. There was no hot water in shower. I called the reception and the answer is : let me send the technician to check if there is hot water or not in the shower! There is a basic faucet only. My colleague had the same problem and get answer.

The decor is elegant and exquisite, the food variety is excellent and the quality of food is that of the highest standards, a person eating here will experience the finest food available in the city and it's no exaggeration. Recommended obviously if you can afford.

This is definitely one of the best hotels in Karachi. Movenpick has clean, comfy rooms with all the amenities you will find in a five star hotel. Their breakfast spread is good, they have multiple lifts on each floor and you would actually like to hangout in their lobby! Their billing is quite similar to PC and Avari, so it is not a more affordable option of the three but being newly built it's an excellent alternative! The only annoying bit is the amount of calls you receive from the check-in counter, the staff otherwise, is extremely helpful.

The staff starting from front office is professional and well trained. Our all property and facilities are good. Food taste needs a bit upgrade. Lobby and lobby restaurant is the best when compared to any other hotel in karachi. I would have given it 5 stars but due to food taste I restricted it to four.

I went for Iftaar but it was not as per my expectations. The item range was fewer than other hotels like Marriott have. The ambiance was not pleasant moreover the seating style was so uncomfortable that it feels difficulty in moving. The quality was good but can be improved. It's better to pay your guests as per what they are paying…

Hotel is beautiful I like the interior the ambiance the pool area. As far as food is concerned deserts were awesome I think the administration must add more variety like bar b que etc to make it an awesome blend of salt and sweet.

They say it's one of the best hotel in Karachi. I can't complain. Try the Italian restaurant, they serve very good pasta.

Karachi best 5 star Hotel. Average coffee shop (lobby) but great Pakistani Restaurant — Al Bustan. Specially the day I went was Pakistani Street food night so enjoyed all street varieties in most hygienic conditions. Food was excellent but thet should improve quality of live music.

I tried a couple of other 5 star hotels in Karachi and this is the best. Nice Pakistani restaurant on the second floor. I just can't stand the smell of cigarettes everywhere I go in Pakistan.

Last visited Movenpick in November 2017, to attend a reception/dinner to celebrate the national day of Finland. 'Darbar Hall' where the event was arranged, is elegantly done, though the carpets are as old as the hotel building itself. The chandeliers add grandeur and class to the large hall. Food, Pakistani cuisine for this event, was extraordinary as usual. Hotel lobby is huge and offers several seating options for guests. Decor is as old as the hotel itself, but warm and inviting nonetheless.

Nice rooms, friendly staff, nice location. They have a couple of decent restaurants too. The breakfast buffet isn't great.

Ambiance is good but food items are limited, taste is average. They should increase number of dishes. On the other hand their parking system is also very disturbed which also needs immediate attention. I saw many people standing in a queue having expressions of discomfort on their faces and they were complaining and blaming valet staff after their meal.

The most amazing hotel I found up till now. The staff the ambiance the food everything is super excellent. The rooms are very exclusively furnished with all latest fittings, and super healthy breakfast is included in room reservation. Price is very reasonable in comparison of what they are offering. Best place for conferences meetings or family get together.

Hotels in Karachi are collectively at a very low standard of quality. Lahore and Islamabad have a much higher standard. It appears all hotels in khi have made a cartel to operate at low standards. Amongst all Mövenpick is better.

Worst example of customer service. My stay was alright. Although I never understand why rates are so high where as its even cheaper in abroad. After support is pathetic. I sent them email to get copy of bill but they are so careless to respond back.

After a year, re-stay in Movenpick Karachi hotel, the scenery is still, service is still. This time still gives the leap room type, looks good but not practical. Hair dryer or old style, difficult to use. Only in this way, this is the best, and then pick a few.

It was nice not amazing. Pool and gym were very good and room was nice too but the hotel itself seemed a little old. Breakfast buffet was nice too.

The behavior of the staff was much wanting for an upscale hotel in the biggest city of Pakistan. The doorman didn't even open the door for you. Waiters were not courteous or helpful. Rooms were OK. Not much in-house entertainment apart from a gym.

One of the best places in the city to chillax! The Fanoos lounge there serves the most amazing coffee. Open 24 hours and it's not too expensive either. Love this place. The only shortcoming is the small pool, although it's always kept very clean.

Good place to stay. Service was good and quick. I faced a blockade in the washroom which was quickly resolved on 1 call. Food is good with differing options. Swimming Pool is also worth a dip if you like to swim. The only thing I would suggest improving is the parking space at entrance. Others may have the similar opinion. I witnessed a few cars bumping here and there with a few Parados and land cruisers blocking others for quite a while when parking or exiting.

Our recent stay 6/6 thru 6/14 was not a good one, this was our second stay in as many years This time we experienced, dirty, rooms, carpet, drapes, curtains, crown molding, air conditioning malfunction, lamps broken and not working, old telephones, old bathrooms, toilets leaking etc… It looked like hotel has had no upkeep, no remodeling, no improvements. Air in the hallways and rooms was soggy and stale. Service in front lobby was polite an courteous. Food in restaurants was good. Bad experience in breakfast area, waiters and the hostess arguing with guests on trivial stuff in front of all other guests, very unprofessional, just trying to show power, typical Pakistani culture, this cannot be acceptable SOP. Rooms made up, with no hand towels, no wash cloths, and reduced amenities. Mistakes on the checkout bill, added breakfasts charges even though breakfast was included in the room rate; host in breakfast area was rude and unprofessional, stopped me in front of guests and told me we have only one guest in our room, I must pay for my wife's breakfast, I told him check your records and do not stop me again, this was very rude and disrespectful, this host needs mentoring and training, actually most of the waiters and hosts in that area need mentoring and guidance in how to deal with guests, they appear to be low level employees who are trying to show power, not behaving at all like employees of a 5 star hotel. not sure we will consider this place next year for our stay.

Stay well clear of this disgrace of a hotel. It's a flop hotel. The staff are incompetent. I'm genuinely upset that this hotel is called movenpick. It's a real tragedy. I wouldn't wish for my worst enemy to stay at this hotel. Wish I could give it 0 stars. Room service not on time. Housekeeping took an hour and a half to bring me a towel which should've been in the room. And mosquitos are not what you expect to see in the room of a "5 star" world famous branded hotel.

I would have given it a five star if they improve in the fit outs and interiors. The hotel is growing old! The place is very secure and serves alot of good food! Definitely comfortable!

Movenpick hotel was previously Shereton karachi. But with the new flagship it's services become better. I stayed there about a couple weeks before n much impressed with the new management.

Overall facilities are up to mark, Good Wifi access, Different food options, Nice enough rooms, nice overall view. Only thing which bothers me is Elevators. When you are in large groups and they all are staying in hotel than you may have to wait hours to go up or down only 4 Elevators.

Very noisy room I did not like, came out of the hotel only at night and only went by taxi to the shops, dangerous, many have weapons.

Loved it every time I've stayed or dined there; for me it's the best hotel in Pakistan, all their facilities, food, rooms are of the finest quality. The only other hotel so good is PC Bhurban and that's because of its location.

The room is spacious however general housekeeping can improve. The food taste is average considering Pakistan has such a rich cuisine. Accessibility is always a challenge due to its location and regular traffic jams.

Nice hotel, 15-20min drive from Airport but you can't walk out of hotel easily. You have to have a car.

Unhelpful staff. Which hotel in the world charges for $20 extra for a second person staying? It's usually charged after the first 2 people. Rooms are old and not well maintained. Housekeeping does a below average job considering this is supposed to be a 4star. Too much open smoke as soon as you enter which is suffocating — they don't facilitate a smoke-free environment.

The decor definitely takes the cake among all other hotels. However the food served in Fanoos Lounge couldn't live upto expectations. I expect some quality when I pay such hefty amounts.

The staff is unsympathetic. They barely look at you when you check in. The staff in general is unhelpful. I had to wait 10 minutes in line to be able to check in and another 10 to 15 min to subsequently talk to any front desk staff. The door card was demagnetized 2 times. The internet connection in the room is very difficult to setup and very slow. The code they gave me for the internet did not work and I had to spend almost an hour to get a new code which they finally gave as if they were doing me a favor. Any good management would have apologized for the mistake and give me the code free of charge to compensate. The rooms were just adequate but not clean enough.
