Sukoon Hostel

The private room was dirty and hadn't been cleaned since the last guest, hairs across bed and bathroom, blankets came without cover. Upon pointing it out to the staff, he threatened to kick me out in the middle of the night.

Very good hostel, neat and clean close to the airport, nearest hostel have main bus station from there we can go any place with low price, have reception very friendly have 24 hours reception available, highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel managed by Mr. Anas. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Mr. Anas ensured everything was perfect, making the experience smooth and memorable. Highly recommend!

The hostel was very good, I was staying here my vacation and exploring the Oman, they helped to tour package a to z and good price, if I say about the hostel, 24 hours I saw them reception, everyday they cleaning the room, kitch was super, all rooms are very big, the area is very. Quit and close the airport and close the city center mall, highly recommend.

Worst place eve. The moment we reached the property for check in they denied by saying they don't have room available and arrogantly told us to go another hotel which was near but the rooms was so dirty, Lenin was stained, bathroom was smelling. Don't ever book sukoon hostel.

Best stay near Muscat. Easy access to the restaurants and airport.
Amazing people to interact with.
Access to the kitchen with basic facilities are available.
Made a few good friends and taking back good memories home.

Sukoon Hostel is very nice. Price is very cheap, location is very close to the airport, so it's not really center center of Muscat but still very convenient, and the most important is the staff. They are super super nice, very friendly, and give us very good advices and tips to travel there. One of the owner of the hotel even offered me to drive me around so I don't have to book a taxi. As a solo woman who travel, I felt very safe. 100% recommended. If I go back to Muscat I'll go there again.

The host charged us to use the washing even if when we asked him if we could you use it he didn't mention it. We left our stuff near the machine while waiting for it to finish, when we came back our stuff was in the washing machine as the owner put it in and then the told us that we had to pay for it. Also when we paid cash for our stay it didn't give us the right amount of change back, it wasn't much difference but still. We got there and there was no internet at all, our whole stay we had no internet. The location has the city centre mall but that's about it, the downtown is around 30kms away and the airport is not as accessible as if you were staying in Azaiba area. I wouldn't recommend it.

INCOMPETENT: They have overbooked our reservation and there was no more room left for us. They only offered a matress on the ground for me in a common room (with a lot of light). After 24 hours on a flight without sleep I just needed to lay down and this was not sufficient. They said this happened because we booked too early (2 months before coming). Offered to put us in a different hostel on the other side of town (taxi would probably cost us same as the room). Went to a different place.

I had a fantastic time at this hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hostel itself was beautiful and well-maintained. And I will highly recommend to visit the hostel…

Overall positive experience. Very new hostel, good host and good people. The bathroom however could use some love. No shelves or anything to put your clothes on or items, and no toilet paper (more as a useful to have)

The staff was warm, friendly, and always ready to help, making me feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable, with all the basic amenities thoughtfully provided. The common areas were great for socializing and meeting other travelers.

Extremely friendly, helpful and caring hosts. There is a kitchen and a common room available. Hostel is in a newly built house, in a good neighborhood, near the airport, bus station and public transport. Despite this, the place is quiet. I will definitely live there if I am in Muscat.
