A fabulous hotel. Friendly staff, rooms a very high standard of cleanliness, delightful beds. Two pools, one a lap pool. Lovely grounds with plenty of sun beds. The beach is public so no sun loungers but nice walks. Best of all a Glaswegian chef called Austin Reed provided the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten in an hotel. One evening I had two small main courses which is unheard of and not a french fry in sight. Well done Mr Reed.

Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a great shower and a large, plush bed that ensured a perfect night's sleep. The attention to detail in the room's design and amenities did not go unnoticed.

Choosing InterContinental in any Middle Eastern country is ALWAYS a good idea! After staying at IGH in Qatar last year, we decided to try it in Oman as well and it was honestly amazing. The hospitality, warmth and friendliness of staff is outstanding. The hotel amenities and design beautiful. Our room had an incredible view, it was spacious and with super comfortable beds. Every part of the hotel is spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was INCREDIBLE and somehow they managed to offer new food choices daily with a bit of everything to suit anyone's taste — big thanks to Faisal Al Wahaibi and Chef Aladhraq. There were many other staff members from concierge, housekeeping, security etc. Who offered truly fantastic customer service, but unfortunately I don't have their names. The gym is also quite impressive for a hotel gym. The pool is nice and there is direct access to Al Qurum beach. All in all, a brilliant stay. We felt like being at home away from home. Thank you all for making our experience so great.
