Rooms: up-to-date after fresh renovation — see pictures. Beds are top and not located. Functional heating, small desk is also available, enough sockets also directly at the bedside. Entire rooms are designed with laminate / parquet, which is much more hygienic. (Room 610) In the already renovated stairwell it smelled somehow musty — perhaps because of the completed renovation. However, this smell could only be heard in the stairwell. A lift is available, albeit in renovation. According to the letter in the elevator, a new one is installed.
Hotel: Some of them are still being renovated (on the lower floors and in the stairwell). But as an outsider, it looks like the work is almost complete. We couldn't hear any building noise during two nights. Reception and entrance area top and very modern designed. Exterior facade as part of the possible renovated. Doesn't look very appealing from the outside.
Fitness and sauna area not visited and we can not judge. We assume that this will also be super and modern
Food/ Food: we have found the breakfast buffet as absolutely high quality, rich in the selection. Everything you expected was there. In the evening we did not eat in the restaurant and can not judge it.
Location: you can find it quickly because directly on the main road. But also has the disadvantage that it is noisy, due to the traffic noise, if you have a room pointing to the street. There are also rear-facing rooms (all without a balcony), but unfortunately they don't have such a good & beautiful view over the town of Férde.
Parking: Free parking is available — both in front of the hotel and behind the hotel. A parking lot full of water at the top of the hotel was not possible despite light continuous rain during 2 days.
