Good location close to the center, directly by the side of the railway (but sufficiently soundproof), large room a bit basic, cleanliness OK, staff very nice. Breakfast is a sandwich and a juice in a bag hanging on the door in the morning at 6.30, to be taken into account for choice.

Great value for money. Only 1 minute walk from train station & great breakfast package for people on the go.

It is basic hotel for overnight stay. Very next to the Trondheim station but you won't hear much. Good value for money. Don't expect much for the breakfast — you will get a breakfast bag with a small fruit juice bottle (more like water) — you have to pay for the coffee. Rooms are clean and friendly staff.

Located directly at the train station with room view on the tracks. The breakfast consists of a Sandwitch as in the airplane and 0.2 drink (something). Save OK but that's too little for me. Another hammer drinks can only be paid in cash. Does not go to room and not by card. Service lousy…

1. Location is strategic. Adjoining the Trondheim central station, walkable (1-2km) distance from several restaurants, shopping street, the tourist office and the old town bridge (Gamle bybro) 2. Reception staff is efficient. I was a bit disappointed with the room service — the floor wasn't cleaned properly and washrooms could have been cleaned better 3. We had taken a twin room with separate beds. The view was nice. I wish they had put another, bright light in the room other than the one at the entrance 4. The breakfast is good enough to be full and happy 5. Despite of having an accommodation for about 200 people, there is no private, stilt parking and one has to rely on the public parking slots (Almost) value for money, I would recommend it.

Quaint and small room, though comfy. The breakfast bag was nothing special, but all I needed and just fine as most breakfast in Norway are quite expensive. Only downside was that you can hear the train outside, but other than that the spot is fantastic and a very short walk from everywhere.

As for breakfast and food leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe it is economical to sleep, and beds, cleaning and bathroom is ok. But to eat better bring your food or go downtown. You're starving here. Wi-Fi works very well and is free. Coffee you have to order it at the front desk and pay for it. In the morning they leave you a bag with a sandwich on your door step and a small bottle of tiny saft. The people who work here are very friendly. At least they were with me.

Booked a twin room, got to the reception and got told that we were to have a double room — not ideal for two sharers! In fairness, the guy on reception did sort out a spare bed from the basement straight away. Room was good, breakfast was poor though — literally a dry sandwich and what should have been orange juice but looked more like urine delivered in a bag on the door in the morning.

Noisy & budget. That basically sums it up. I knew going in that there was no breakfast etc. The room itself was fine, but the location being next to train tracks is terrible. You'll hear trains all night. The reception told me that late at night there are no trains — no not really. I heard trains throughout the night. Its really bad when a freight train goes by because those are super noisy.

Comfortable room with Wi-Fi that's good for a nights sleep, but nothing more. No toiletries, coffee or any other "fuss" offered. Breakfast is a dry sandwich and watered down orange juice delivered to your door.

Perfect location for travellers using train station. It is next to the train station but you don't hear any noise from the trains passing by. Basic rooms but very clean and comfortable. Beds are very comfortable! Very convenient location for the city centre with a nice view on one side. Breakfast is delivered to your room. It's a sandwich and a drink. They do sell tea and coffee at the reception. It would be nice if they have proper buffet breakfast however it's good value for money and perfect for short stay in Trondheim.

Where do I start? Bed broken, freezing cold in the room, could not chance or swich of the air con, breakfast if you can even call that I a bad in the for whit s water that suppose taste orange, not s juice even whit s dry toast whit 1 cucumber pice, the reception staff could not help whit anything if you asked them ever to go in the town to eat : drink or find a shop.

Clean nice hotel with a beautiful roof terrace. Unfortunately the Bahngleich is next to it and the breakfast consists of a ham Sandy Silva and a juice every day.

The location is perfect — near the canal, 40 minutes by feet to see all the sights in the city. Room was nice and clean with a view to the railroad and sea. The triple room that we booked was just a double with an extra bed (foldable) when we arrived. There was not information about this when we made our booking (it was mentioned that there are interconnected rooms available — so may be I did not understand correctly). Staff refused to change it for better room. No restaurant — so breakfast included are just a take away sandwiches and water — keep this in mind if you hope for a buffet breakfast.

Simple but practical hotel. A bit too close to the railway.

New hotel almost on top of the traintracks. Soundproofed rooms, with a clean, minimalistic interior. Breakfast was a bag on the door, worked for me. Walking distance to the city center.

No complaints about the room: clean, comfortable bed (2 m, not 1.90), electrical outlets to plug its electronic devices. Bathroom quite spacious.
Other positives:
* good Wi — Fi (smtp not possible, but for the rest, good flow, through VPN without problem, …)
* very quiet, no outside noise
* nice view of the marina
The less now:
* Breakfast disgraceful. Well, it's written anywhere, I'm just repeating. This is the 1st time I have a breakfast sandwich / fruit juice tied to the door as a breakfast. And yet, when I write juice, in France, it's called "fruit drink": 80% water, 20% orange and sugar (like "oasis" what)
* restaurants are not very far to walk, but still, you have to walk 10 minutes.
In the end, I put 4 * because for the price, it is still unbeatable, especially in Norway!
